Ghost does not have native system for drop down menu. In the video you mentioned, a third party JavaScript plugin is being used. If you wish you can try to use it in any theme. May be you have to adapt little bit according to the theme. I have no plan for sub menu until Ghost supports it natively.
The theme and the ghost editor are great.
But I’m not sure if it’s theme problem or ghost problem, inability to sort tags is a huge disadvantage in my opinion, in comparison, gitbooks, archbee, or even many wordpress based KB software can sort categories and articles easily.
What if I want to insert an tag in between, do I have to delete all the tags and add it again in sequence? Then I have to tag all the post one by one again?
Similar thing for posts, based on my understanding, I have to manually adjust publish time in order to sort it.
This is really a deal breaker.
Hello, you are correct. There is no way to insert tags or posts in between as you want without those manual steps in ghost.

Hello, those blocks are actually tags. Tags have option to add an image. that image is already being shown as those icons. So background image can not be added from ghost. If you want to can customize the theme and add images manually by editing code. You have to do it yourself or by a developer.
Currently 4 items tags being shown above the “Show all topic” button. If you want then the number can be changed by modifying small code. I can help you with this part.

Hello, for home page, open home.hbs file at line number 7 modify the value of order option.
For sidebar of inner pages open sidebar.hbs file. At line number 7 modify same as above mentioned.

Hello, only one level is possible as you ha e seen in the demo. Because ghost only supports tag in one level. There is no hierarchy like sub tags.
Does this theme support membership/subscriptions? I’m not seeing an example of that on the demo site.
Hello, Yes this theme properly supports membership. In this theme, at first visitor does not see the pricing table. But once he/she sign up from sign up page they can see the pricing table. You can test on the demo site. You can use any temp mail address.
Also if you want to show the pricing table directly, you can do that by modifying few code. If you don’t know you can hire a developer to do that.

The theme has no fixed header feature inbuilt. If you know HTML and CSS you can do it yourself or you have to hire a developer. In my opinion it’s not hard if you know code.

I update theme to fix bug and make the theme compatible with latest version of ghost. If you set a post members only then the user who is not logged in will see that.

Yes the theme support latest version. And private posts only for logged in users. In fact full membership functionality is supported by this theme.
Are you thinking of launching a version that works on WordPress?

Hi. Great looking theme. On the topic page (example: http://digidocs.gbjsolution.com/topic/getting-started/), I’m trying to envision how the left column will look if there are a large amount of posts within each category. Will it just be a giant list, or is there a way to add a scrollbar or something? Thanks.
Also, in the right section, is there a way to automatically load the first post within each category? Showing the same list of posts as in the left column is little redundant. not a huge deal if not, but just curious.
Sorry..one more question: on that right column, is it possible to display the thumbnail image for each post?

2 and 3. Both can be done, but these are not currently inbuilt with the theme. Needs some custom code editing.

Hello, The icons comes from tag images. In Ghost dashboard at tag page you can add an image for each tag. Now you can use svg image or transparent background image. or any other image. Finalize your image (change color, etc ) before uploading and upload it as tag image. You can use any icon or image. Because there is no predefined collection of icons for this in the theme. You can download or collect any icon from internet and use it.

Hello, as you can already see that, this theme is built for documentation site and it uses some custom query and some custom features and layout to show the posts as it shown in the demo. You can translate the theme to another language and it will work fine. But the multi language support is not an out of the box feature of ghost. That’s why the tutorial shows how you can achieve an multi language support site in your ghost theme after some route configuration and with some additional file in your theme. As this theme is not a conventional blog theme it may not work if you follow that tutorial. But may be you study how the routes and collection work in ghost and then see how these theme shows the posts on home page or other page. Then you may create a multi lingual site with this theme. I will recommend to consult a freelance developer. Discuss what you want and if it is achievable or not. BTW, please note not a single theme comes with multilingual support, even not the default theme casper, because it is not an standard feature of ghost.

Hi, in this theme, there is not a single area where there author info can be seen. That’s why the author slug template is not implemented, actually in this theme, the index file is also empty.
That is why, the author slug is not showing anything.
Anyways, it can be implemented. By adding some file and code.

Hi, Sorry for your inconvenience. The font which is used in this theme is “Lato”. I do not know the characters you have mentioned belongs to which language. But at least the characters should be rendering and shown in default sans-serif font.
You have mentioned that you have trouble, but you have not mentioned which kind of trouble?
Are the characters not being shown entirely? They are showing wrong characters? Or they showing correct character with different font face?
Which is the actual problem? Whenever you ask any question please try to provide as much information as possible regarding the issue.
Anyways, In general, I think you have to use one of the font which supports your language.
