ummm yea simply dropped the redownloaded files and dropped them into the wp-content/themes/digon/ folder on my ftp server and badda bing the issue was fixed. No need for support, no need to mess with data bases, great theme easy to update/change – warm regards (remember to backup your files from the ftp before replacing them with the new redownloaded ones just for safe keeping)

Demo is running on 3.6 latest.

I issued an update to the problem you’ve described 4 months back. You can check update log in item descriptions.

It’s always best to update the theme before going for a major WP upgrade.

I tested on the beta and rolled the fix 4 months back. You’ll need to update the theme to resolve the issue.

Here’s last two changelog details. You’ll see WP 3.6 fix deployed on April 26th.

Most questions and update answers will be found at support forum.

1. You have jQuery conflicts on homepage because you’re not setting it up correctly.

Right now you’re setting a background from wordpress admin section which is not the correct way to set background in the theme.

Could you follow the Help Guide on setting up slideshows. The slideshow code has empty images and is causing script problems. You can upload a single image if you prefer too. Multiple images will enable slideshow.

Please check setting up fullscreen slideshow from Help Guide. Support forum How to has video tutorials as well.

2. Your logo image is overlaying on top of the page container title. Could you check if following corrects it.

edit /style.css and add following code to end of file.

.container { margin-top: 90px; }

This will shift the container to display your logo better.

3. The loading circle is present as it’s trying to load the images. You’ve currently set background slideshow without any images. Please refer to point 1 to correct this.

4. At the support forum.

Right now, all I am concerned with is getting point 1/3 sorted. I had already followed the help steps to the letter, but all I am left with is a blank screen. The strange thing is, after following the steps to set up the slideshow, I press, ‘preview’ and it looks perfect. But once I publish and go to the real page, its just a black screen.

Hi, Regarding point 1. You can check out Help Guide PDF on setting up fullscreen slideshows. It’s also there in video tutorials. The images are required as image attachments inside the fullscreen post. The loading circle will disappear once images are present.

Hi,

Rich text is supported in portfolio descriptions as they are generated from a custom field. The link style needs a little correction when added to the portfolio description. Let me know when you need this, i’ll provide code for it.

Also do note that the portfolio items are custom post formats and won’t auto populate from the existing blog posts. You mentioned on the large number of already built portfolio posts. This will require new creations for the custom post types.

Blog posts and pages can be migrated using import/export of WP.

Thank you so very much for your kindness, I’ve just purchased the theme and will start working on it in about 10 days. If you could help me with the link style added to portfolio descriptions, I would really appreciate it. I’m not migrating a site but re-building a previous one without having any database (my friend accidentally deleted it, and the hosting provider didn’t want to provide the backup), so I have tons of photos and exhibits to add, but they’re just plain .jpegs, the theme will be installed on a fresh WP on a brand new hosting (much better). I’ll get back to you as soon as I’ve installed the theme and started working on it – thanks again and enjoy your holidays!

1. Yes. Pages can be made translucent using CSS3 background rgba properties.

eg. Adding following to style.css will make pages black – 40% opacity. 0,0,0 is black in rgb, 0.4 is 40%

2. Yes. But you will need basic knowledge of CSS to have total control over color elements of the theme. Theme options provides alot of them as well like page backgrounds, menu colors, heading colors, accents.

3. Yes it can be relocated using CSS. Descriptions or any other element can be moved with basic knowledge of CSS. The element locations right now are displayed in demo as it will be out of box.

You should check the demo site http://digon.imaginemthemes.com/wp/ for all features present in the theme. That’s the live preview of all features.

Responsive means the theme adapts to device/resolution with those that suits best for the display. Check live preview on mobile device.

Hi, Service boxes are switched off for mobile phones as it’s too small to display. Priority is given to the images as it’s a fullscreen photography theme.

Currently those features you’ve requested aren’t there in the theme. I can note them down, if there are popular requests they can be implemented.

Thank you for the reply. that is a shame. The Service boxes wont be too small if they were stacked vertically on top of each other in mobile devices though. I have seen it done. I do understand the priority to photos this being a photography themes. However I am aiming to use it for multimedia, and the photos will be good even with the service boxes on top.

Is there a way to turn them on or get them to stack vertically? I dont mind codin a bit as long as its minimal.

Hi, The service box code is still there in mobile mode. It’s not displayed. You can alter these from /css/responsive.css file. It’ll need some additional styles and adjustments for mobile view. The hover functions are done with jQuery so alterations there will be required if you need hover functions changed.
