In that link you supplied if you look at the source of the images they are 2 different images, not the same image pulled in through a shortcode. That being said you could setup a custom function to do this if you wish. Thanks

The shortcode behind that is [portfolio projects=”4” title=”Showcase” show_title=”yes” filters=”all”] so it pulls 4 items through from the portfolio on this page http://www.excelcolourprint.co.uk/showcase/ across all categories. Or you can restrict the categories i.e. on this page http://www.excelcolourprint.co.uk/feature_wallpapers/ it just brings through ones from relevant categories using this shortcode [portfolio projects=”4” title=”Showcase” show_title=”yes” filters=”wallpapers”] and that is the kind of functionality I need to achieve here. Could you let me know which file the shortcode for your portfolio and related functionality are please and then I can have a look at increasing the functionality if that isn’t something that your plugin can offer me at the moment.

Figured that out, too: Theme does not fully support CHILD theme. At the end of functions.php, please replace

require_once(TEMPLATEPATH . '/portfolio.php');

with

locate_template('portfolio.php', true, true);

for custom portfolio php to be recognized.

Thanks for the questions. I’m not sure what you mean by ‘the image in the box’. Entire top area of the demo (with the slides and the text) is Revolution Slider. The theme includes a Revolution Slider license to use with the theme.

I’m also a little unsure of what you mean by ‘children of other pages’. You can make as many pages as you want and nest them underneath menus and 2nd and 3rd level sub menus if that is what you mean.

With regtards to the menu how would they appear if you had a couple of sub pages under features for instance on your demo would they appear on rollover or be there all the time but somehow indented?

I apologize for the confusion, I had looked at the comment above yours for our Automotive theme and responded based on that theme. Please disregard my other comments, it all makes sense now.

The plugin it uses is Cyclone Slider 2 (not Revolution Slider) for the Flight theme. You could replace it with a different slider, although we haven’t attempted to do this, I don’t see any reason you couldn’t. You would just edit the header.php file.

Regarding the child elements to the menu, this also makes sense now. No, you can not have any child elements with the flyout menu. You would have to use the secondary menu widget displayed on the Blog and sidebar pages.

I am pretty sure that this is a core WordPress function, I don’t think that you can associate the same menu position with 2 WordPress menus, they would have to be in different locations. I’m not 100% sure if there is another way around this, but if you want to open a Support Ticket our support team would be able to better advise you on this Monday morning when we are back in the office. You need to disable it for the Page in WordPress: Check under ‘Discussion Settings’ at the top right of the edit page window, it should have ‘Comments’ unchecked. Check that off, then you will find an option at the bottom of the page to disable comments for that page.

What version of the theme is your client using?

I have the market place Api key correct. The directions in the documentation do not work for the google api key. I guess they changed the way the api’s work now. Cannot figure it out. I guess I will manually embed the map another way
