Hi there,
Would you mind opening a ticket at mediumrare.ticksy.com so we can assist you there?
Cheers, Craig
how can I make the nav bar static?
how can I speed up the time with image sliders??
Hi, to make the nav bar static you can remove class absolute and you can see examples at http://foundry.mediumra.re/elements-nav-light.html to speed up image sliders you need to edit scripts.js. Find slideshowSpeed: 3000 and edit the milliseconds value to your desired length of time between slides. If you need any more help with this, please open a ticket at mediumrare.ticksy.com

Hello, I’m wrapping up the first website based on Foundry. After working with Machine and Pivot, all excellent themes, I found Foundry to be the best, very well rounded, well finished Medium_Rare theme. Your ticket support system works very well too.
I would like to know if you have a recommendation about a Translation script that will integrate well with the translation drop-down located on the right hand side of the menu.
Thank you,
Daniel
Hi, sorry but we don’t have a solution to translating the pages, but our suggestion would be to host a translated version of the site on a subdomain or subdirectory (spanish might be on es.yourdomain.com or yourdomain.com/es), then you can simply make the link on the translation box direct to the translated site.
Glad you’re enjoying using our templates

Dear medium_rare, website looks great but, on my mac its everything ok, this template on my iPhone show me the special characters (?š??žýáí) with the bold font, can i fix this problem?
Hi, we’d love to hear more about this – but we’ll need screenshots. Could you please open a ticket at mediumrare.ticksy.com and show us what you’re seeing by attaching a screenshot from yout iPhone. Look forward to helping you out.
Hi this software can help me to create a html website instead of landig page?
Hi, yes – you can use Variant and Foundry to make a full, multi-page site easily, not just a landing page.
Is there a Photoshop file which allows me to create a design made with Foundry elements using the Foundry css to pass on to the developer?
Hi, Sorry, no we can’t supply this – the PSDs we have are not 100% accurate to the final design.
Hi there, your design is slick! Great job! Just wondering is there a way to speed up the smooth scroll action?
Hi, Sorry but no, it is tied to the speed of the browser’s wheel event and what the mouse hardware feeds the browser.
You can disable parallax if you want, by removing references to parallax.js, but this means you won’t get the smooth scrolling and you will miss out on parallax backgrounds.

Hi, I can no longer upload images, can you please help?
Hi, Please open a ticket on mediumrare.ticksy.com – thanks
James
Is there a way to easily integrate “Help” texts with Foundry? Like where people can e.g. click on a question mark then and the a little modal opens with instructions.
Hi, yes – it is demonstrated on this page
http://foundry.mediumra.re/elements-grid.html
Send us a support request at mediumrare.ticksy.com if you need help.
James
Hi James, not sure where the help function comes in on the grid structure page. Please explain, thanks!
Sorry, I should have been clearer, see when you hover over the grid elements and the little popover appears? You could use that as a little help popup. You just need to place these data attributes on the element:
data-toggle=”tooltip” data-placement=”top” title=”” data-original-title=”My Help Text”
Hope this helps
Craig

No worries
I just purchased your theme and downloaded it. But i can’t find the Variant builder in the downloaded zip file. Where can i find it please?
ok. found it..sorry to bother
No problem. Thanks for buying.
Would be great if all the blocks exported via Variant to HTML were commented for easier identification when fiddling and re-arranging the content.
Hey there,
Good idea! We’ll add this to our list of future features
Thanks again for purchasing!
Hello, I would like the exported variant file of ‘home-capital-firm.html’ aka the examples you have on your demo page- Can you add them somewhere for us real lazy people to use. TIA.
Hi,
Sorry but the .variant files for Foundry are not included in the package. This is because .variant files can fall behind when we make updates to the main package. We chose this path of more regular product updates vs including the .variant files in Foundry so the overall product could receive improvements without being hindered by updating and reproducing .variant files. We are improving our processes and hope to include .variant files for future templates through improvements to our automation systems.

How do I change the headings text definition in Variant, i.e. pick h5 instead of h>? Can I only change the HTML code after export?
Hey there,
Yes currently you can only make these adjustments once you’ve exported from Variant.
Cheers, Craig
Hi Guys, are you going to add in a “logos” block to display images horizontally?
or you might know it as “affiliate logos”
Hey there,
You can see these on this elements page: http://foundry.mediumra.re/elements-galleries.htmlIt’s titled ‘Image Carousel’
Cheers, Craig
At 991 pixels in Safari there is a breakpoint where the ti-menu moves up for some odd, incredibly frustrating reason. I’m going through your source and documentation and there isn’t much there for it. Please help. It’s incredibly annoying.
Hi there,
Thanks we’ll take a look into this issue.
Craig
it was a line height issue I corrected it. tx
Line 1408 theme.css fixed it.
.module.widget-handle i { line-height: 53px; }
Ah, thanks for sharing the solution
Craig
I have to agree with @ozzway, more form elements would be really useful and I would go as far as suggesting that you explore the idea of producing an admin template based on Foundry’s clean look, so we could build our own admin themes with Variant.
Looking at all the current admin templates, many of which are hugely popular, I think it would be a top seller. There’s certainly a demand and I think the rewards could be huge.
Hey there,
Thanks for your feedback. Currently we don’t have an admin template verison of Foundry in the works but we wouldn’t rule out working with an experience interface designer to achieve this in the future.
Thanks again, Craig
You’ve done a great job on this theme – I must commend you! This is my favourite general goto theme at the moment.
I have worked with the theme for some time now and would like to to give some feedback if I may:
If there were a feature I could vote for improvement, it would be the form elements. There very few options for more diverse forms. It would be great to have more styling options for a larger subset of elements e.g. http://demo.pixelcave.com/proui/page_forms_general.php
Many Thanks Mark
Hey Mark,
Thanks for purchasing and also for the kind words. We’re working on improving forms, our current focus is a more efficient ajax implementation for mail chimp and campaign monitor as we find this a hotly requested feature – we will then focus on fleshing out more form elements styling and this will be reflected in a future update.
Thanks again, Craig
Hi there!
I have a question for the responsive layout of the portfolio grids (e.g. http://foundry.mediumra.re/home-personal-portfolio.html).
Currently there is a hover overlay on each grid, which can’t display on mobile. I expected that at least tapping once could open up the overlay and show the title / subtitle, then the second tapping could actually open the page. But ideally the overlay should be displayed by default as it is when I hover on the grid.
Could you please give me some advice on this? Any codes I could use to implement the effect? I hope the nicely styled grids perform intuitively on mobile as well!
Thanks, Astrid
Hey Astrid,
Yes you can force the titles to be shown on mobile like so:
@media all and (max-width: 1024px){ .inner-title.hover-reveal .title { opacity: 1; transform: translate3d(0, 0px, 0); -webkit-transform: translate3d(0, 0px, 0); -moz-transform: translate3d(0, 0px, 0); } }
If you place this in custom.css
Cheers, Craig
Thanks
How to reveal the gradient overlay as well?
Hey Astris, do you mean remove the gradient overlay? You can do that by adding this to custom.css:
.overlay:before{ opacity: 0; }
Cheers, Craig
Thinking of picking up this theme. Can you easily create custom forms on this template? I need create an estimate form. thanks.
Hey there,
Yes you could create this using the form elements, and also you can see the project planner page as an example for how you might make it look: http://foundry.mediumra.re/page-contact-3.html
Cheers, Craig
