The UiCore framework plugin is broken ! can you fix that because on latest update after update all plugins belong to Framey theme is broke WordPress and give critical error !

Please do some work on Custom Post Type. Like The comment form are not showing on the custom post type. I apply and try many things but found that theme don’t support the custom post type i created from the plugin. The option is on from the custom post type plugin to allow comments, the the theme is not showing the form.
It’s very urgent and needed to add this.

I’ve been busy so had to leave it for a while but once again I’ve tried to convert from framer to framey and my layout is all messed up, again. Is there anything you can think of that would cause this issue? Ive followed the guide, twice with the same result. Its on localhost so I cant really show you but I cant do it on live as its messed up.
Hello, the theme is basically the same, but with a different name, so it shouldn’t cause any issues. The problem might be caused by the update, since you’re coming from a very old version. Try this:
1. Download the latest theme version from your ThemeForest account.
2. Install framey.zip to your website.
3. Unzip the package (framey.zip) and install the plugins from framey/inc/plugins.
4. Update all other plugins to the latest version.
5. Go to Elementor – Tools – Clear Cache and Data.
6. Go to Theme Options – Save.
Ive done all this. The issue is weird. I basically have sections of pages that are squashed / different widths, and elements are missing. I really should have done this ages ago.
I’ve tried this again from scratch. Sadly same problem. If I get a dummy domain so I can make a clone of the site, whats the chances of getting some assistance with this?

I really should have done this ages ago as I had asked the question. Anyway, I’ve taken a copy of my site and put it on localhost so I could update from Framer to Framey. After following the guide, I have styling issues, such as two headers, and different content widths, and missing custom fonts.
Is there anything else I need to do other than following the guide? I did this on localhost as I didn’t want to affect my customers. I appreciate this then makes it hard for you to look at.
Hello Omri, we recommend using a migration plugin, like Duplicator. This will properly migrate the resources to your local website, and it will avoid any styling issues. Here’s a guide: https://help.uicore.co/docs/uicore-framework/transfer-website-from-staging-to-live
I use WP All In One Migration. The migration was fine. It wasn’t until I followed the guide to go from framer to framey it went wrong. I’ve resolve the 2 headers. There was some CSS that hadn’t copied across, but I have the other issues. Just wasn’t sure if there was something else not in the guide to try.
Try saving Theme Options if you haven’t already. Another option would be to manually transfer the content:
1. Install the theme on localhost.
2. On the existing website go to Tools – Export – All – Download, then Theme Options – System – Export Settings.
3. Follow the same steps to import on localhost.
4. Save permalinks and set the homepage.
After updating the UiCore Animate plugin, the Elementor editor is no longer loading properly — the editor view is not working.”
Hello, please disable the Page Transition in Theme Options – Animations. This is an issue with UiCore Framework, and it will be updated soon.

My website has been fine without issues for some time. I have very few plugins. Now the website wont load and has a critical error. Looking at the server logs…

Speaking to SG, it was the latest Wordpress version but I see no update. Then I noticed its called Framey now and you have a guide here

Hello, yes, the theme works with the latest WP version. Looking at your log, you’re still using the old (Framer) theme version. Please download the theme again from your ThemeForest account and install it on your website:
1. Go to Appearance – Themes and delete Framer WP and Framer WP Child.
2. Go to Plugins and delete UiCore Framework and Element Pack Pro.
3. Install the new theme (Framey).
4. Install the plugins using the “Required Plugins” banner.
This procedure won’t affect your content and settings.
Are you sure? Deleting plugins which have configs/are being used sounds like a recipe for diaster.
Not at all, unless you directly modified the plugin files. The content and settings are stored in the database, while the plugin files are stored in /wp-content/. Reinstalling the plugins won’t touch the database.

Hello, please make sure you’re using the latest theme version, then go to Theme Options – System – Refresh UiCore Data. If that doesn’t work, go to Tools – Site Health and make sure the REST API is working properly. If there are errors on REST API, check with your hosting provider to disable any security that might be blocking it.
There is an issue while downloading the assets. “There is an issue communicating with our API servers”. I enabled / disabled Api connection proxies, everything is updated and nothing happens. Can´t download any assets for several days now.

I’m looking for post styles templates. When I create a new template via Theme Builder > Single and edit it in Elementor, I only get one template suggested in the UI Core Library for this type. But on your website there are 3: Default, Simple and Creative Simple. I would like to use “Creative Simple” post style – is that somehow available?

Hello, the template you’re looking for can be configured entirely in Theme Options – Blog. For this one you need to set the Blog Post Page Title to Simple Creative, enable Sidebar Right and Related Posts.

Hello, please make sure you’re using the latest theme version, and that you don’t have any active theme builder templates set to portfolio.
Also, please let us know if the page shows an empty space instead of the grid, or it’s just the page title followed by the footer. Thanks
Is Framer now Framey? I guess so as I can see I’ve purchased it. Anyway, I’ve noticed carousels arent working anymore? how do I fix this? My pages that have them now have white space instead. As the theme name has changed, not even sure how to update safely as it doesn’t show me an update.
