Hello,
Can you explain if I ask why is this theme so expensive? Where is a the advantage of this theme from other themes, the reason that the price is this high? why we have to buy this theme and not similar with less price
Hello guys, do the Post Tile widget (Page Builder), it is compatible with WPML?
Hi, thank you very much for your comment, but please understand we can only offer timely support on our support platform. Please check https://www.proteusthemes.com/help/ – you will find help center as well as option to open private tickets. Also, with click on your theme, check the theme documentation. But, yes. All our widgets are compatible with WPML. Take care!
Sort of confused, as I’m looking at the theme homepage and it shows the theme price marked down to $59? But then the price is listed at $99
https://s3.envato.com/files/219650553/hammer-profile.__large_preview%20copy.__large_preview.pngHi,
yes… we are sorry, the image banner on the item page is outdated and we will replace it . The price of $99 is correct.
Thanks for pointing out the outdated image!
Have a nice day!
Awesome theme. I will probably use it for my next project.
Thanks.
Let us know if you have any other question.
Does this theme come with Visual Composer yet or no?
Hi. No, Visual Composer is not yet implemented. It will be if there is enough demand. Right now, the theme works with Page Builder by SiteOrigin which we believe is better.
I have installed the theme and run into a few issues. Where can i get support please?
anyone home?
Hi, I can see you already write to us via contact form on our ThemeForest profile. This is also right place to post support questions so I will answer you there.
Take care!
Hi guys, is there any advantage to getting buildpress (proteus themes) over hammer construction? It looks like buildpress has ability to change colours etc. and more development behind it (v3.0.1 as opposed to v1.0) – or are they basically the same. In other words, do I have the same options with Hammer as Buildpress or is Buildpress (now with Visual Composer) a better, more filled-out and mature version?
Hi,
It actually really depends on what you need. There is different design for both themes. BuildPress is using Essential Grid plugin and Hammer is using our own widget for projects. BuildPress is made on Bootstrap 3, Hammer is made on Bootstrap 4. So in technical aspect of view there is few more differences. BuildPress is using px and Hammer is using rems. BuildPress is now almost 2 years old and it was updated all the time, this is why there is v3.0.1 already out. But all those 2 years of work are also in our new themes so Hammer is actually really filled-out and mature theme even if is only v1.0.0 for now. Hammer has also options to change all the colours and few more and different widgets. There is a lot of things done differently but i think i included the most important ones.
tl;dr: Both themes are completely different in technical aspect of view and design but they are both up to date and build on solid foundations with the few years of experience.
That sounds great to me. Thanks guys. I’ll go with the more modern Hammer theme. Thank you for your help.
Great to hear that!

Having lots of fun with this very customisable theme. I would like to add a drop shadow to text in the jumbotron slider. You can see the site at http://marinelayup.com/ – As you can see, it’s hard to read some of the white text against light backgrounds and rather than dim the imagesm I think a dropshadow would do it. Can you tell me how to target both the title (and text) of the slides and I’ll alter the CSS to include a 2px, clean black dropshadow. I really love this theme and so does the client by the way. You have save me soooooo much faffing around with this.
Hi, it’s awesome to hear so nice words from our customers. Customizations are usually not for free but you have really good point here about the contrast so i will give you this custom CSS for free:
.jumbotron-content { text-shadow: 0 2px #333333; } .jumbotron-content__description .btn { text-shadow: none; }
Take care!

Hey whats the deal, Why two accounts?
Hi,
We answered in the comment above.
tl;dr One account is exclusive and another is non-exclusive.
great job, very cool ! i wish you good luck for your sales
Thank you!
ConstructionThemes = ProteusThemes? Trying to sell under different names. Why? And why don’t you incorporate these slightly different designs into one theme? I realy feel ripped off with my previous construction related theme purchase with you. There for I advise customers not to purchase your themes as you aim for money and not for quality.
Hi,
You are right, the team behind ConstructionThemes and ProteusThemes is the same. We didn’t have any intention to hide it (or we would invest more energy into it). But as our customer I believe you deserve a little bit more explanation and I hope you will understand. So why did we open a new account and submitted yet another construction theme to the TF marketplace? Couple of reasons:
1. First of all and most important, the ConstructionThemes is our non-exclusive TF account, which means we are not limited to sell these themes solely on ThemeForest.
2. I do not understand why do you feel ripped off? I assure you that the quality will not suffer, nor for the ConstructionThemes or ProteusThemes.
3. We don’t plan to open multiple other accounts on TF and sell the same themes or designs. So in accordance with point 1, we are not aiming for quantity more than quality, but it is more that we’ve needed another TF account with different agreement with Envato.
Nice work, GLWS
Thank you!
