Thank you! Team WrapTheme
Hi.
We already implemented your awesome theme we purchased April 30, 2019. Now I see it’s been updated.
Can you please tell me exactly what in particular you updated?
So we don’t have to reimplement and include the edits you made?
Thank you!
Hello,
Thank you so much.
We have add new chart library in all version “E Chart”
Thank you!
Hi.
But nothing major has changed right? The Framework, coding, bootstrap, mobile responsiveness, browser compatibility, etc. All remain same??
Thank you.
Hello,
Yes, all are good just add new chart library.
Thank you!
This template is great and has been reasonably easy to use, with one (for me, major) exception: The classes applied in the tags for the main theme and secondary pages (e.g. 404, etc) are inconsistent, i.e. <body class=”theme-orange”>
in the former vs <body class=”theme-orange auth-main”>
in the latter.
This has made switching between the two types of page in my RoR app surprisingly difficult, since the tag has to sit in a layout that’s shared by all of the app’s views, leaving me with the options of either (a) introducing additional backend logic to deal with this on a controller-by-controller basis (messy code), or (b) re-writing portions of the template’s html and css directly (cumbersome and not my strength). None of this would have been necessary had that styling been applied at a level below <body>
, since it that would then be possible to just drop those classes in each respective view as applicable and leave it at that.
I hope this is changed in future versions of the templates, but until then: is there another option I haven’t considered for working around this?
Hello,
Thank you for indicating. It has been updated and will be available once it is approved. Now the class has been separated for authentication and secondary pages. You may add class to body tag on a condition base or you can create multiple layout. And if you do not follow any of the method then adding multiple class in body tag will not affect the secondary pages.
Thank you,
WrrapTheme
Thanks – I went with the first option (adding the class on a conditional basis), but at the cost of a significant amount of page-load speed. The change of classes caused a glitch when switching between the primary and secondary pages because of turbolinks, which speeds up page requests by loading just the body using AJAX (as opposed to refreshing the entire page with each request). I’ve had to turn turbolinks off for now. Using multiple layouts will likely have the same shortfall.
It will be a while before I publish the app though, so I can live with this for now. I look forward to applying the update when it becomes available.
Thank you for explaining the issue. The code has been updated and you can update the files in your current application.
Thank you, greatly appreciated.
