Hi Team I am interested in this theme. Before purchasing i have few questions.
1) In portfolio page, http://howes.thememount.com/two-column-portfolio/ , can we able to remove “All button”, that is when this page is opened, it should show, BRANDING, CREATIVE etc. If we put All, when we add lot of images ,it feels too much crowded. Instead of ””ALL” Branding needs to be selected and it should show only branding images and when we click on other images, it should show the rest.
2) In the portfolio, When i click on the image, a pop up comes, in that can we add a arrow (Previous and next) to go to other image, like slideshow. Now it is difficult for the user, as they needs to close the image to open the next one.

1) Currently this is not possible. Although you can customize it by child theme but you should know WordPress/PHP coding to make it work. We are not providing this.
2) Yes right. We are planning to add this as option so you can set it. This will be available in our next update.

There is no direct option to do this. But you can do this by child theme. Just wrap a div on both Topbar and Header, than add sticky class in it.

I’m working with your theme (which is awesome btw). I’m having some issues with the rev slider that I can’t seem to find a fix for. The slider overlaps the content on the page and the following behavior is consistent:
1. When you scroll down (enabling the sticky header) the overlap problem goes away. But, when you scroll back up to the top it comes back. Overlaps whatever is below it (i.e. the first thing on the actual page since the slider is loaded in the header . . . using your Page Options feature on the page).
2. If you size down the browser window at some point the problem goes away . . . and (the odd part) it doesn’t come back even after sizing back to full screen. i.e. resizing down to a certain point (presumably engaging some responsive auto adjustments) fixes the slider overlap issue no matter the screen size. Of course it comes back upon page reload.
This seems buggy to me, but I may be overlooking something. I’m spending too much time trying to chase this down. What can be causing this issue and how should I fix it?

Is there any way to make it so that the home page’s main image doesn’t span the full width of the site so that I can float some promos to the left or right of it?

I think you are referring the homepage slider as the main image.
You can use BOXED view to show some sticky float promos. Please see this screenshot:
Our theme is fully supporting Visual Composer plugin. So you can add any slider in a separate ROW in Visual Composer and set background image or color. Also you can make boxed the slider area and set full width for rest of ROWs.

You can disable the loader effect globally. Just go to Admin > Appearance > Theme Options > Layout Settings and select “No effect” in the “Page translation effect” option.

We created Visual Composer element for “The Events Calendar” plugin only. We didn’t developed element of added visual design for any other events plugin. You need to contact them for how to show events. They should have shortcodes to show events.
Also the plugin will work normally and it will appear in their own design so you may need to design them if you like to.

I think your misunderstanding the question.
I have created a page using ‘events’ as the slug. The page doesn’t show when I publish it and set a menu item. It just redirects to the front page.
I’m not asking how I get the other plugin to show.
Regardless of the content of the page, it won’t let me use that slug. Why is this?
Sorry, we misunderstood.
The word ‘events’ for slug is not reserved by our theme. So there may be any other plugin has reserved the SLUG.
Make sure you disabled/removed “The Events Calendar” plugin which reserves the ‘events’ SLUG.
If still problem, than try to disable all plugin and than try again. If you can create page than try to enable each plugin one-by-one and find the plugin which is giving error.

I am attempting to add a social media network that’s really an internal network that we use at our university. I was wondering if there were any plans to include an ‘other’ category for social media networks that enabled users to add a custom icon with their link to appear alongside Facebook, Twitter, et cetera.

Meanwhile, you can set your social media too. There are two ways. You can set it via child theme OR you can use any existing social option.
Using child theme, you can add extra social in front directly with your own link.
Using existing social, you can set any URL in any social (that you are not planning to use) and change icon by adding CSS.

We fixed max-height to 35px so it will resize on this size. But you can change it easily. Just go to Admin > Appearance > Theme Options > Header Settings section and change Logo Max Height and it will increase logo size.

You can disable sticky footer from Admin > Appearance > Theme Options > Footer Settings section. Just set “NO” in “Sticky Footer” option.
For the READ MORE word, it looks like you are using Visual Composer’s GRID Element. They have fixed the READ MORE word. So you need to modify it. Please contact us via our official support system at http://support.thememount.com/ and our team will guide you with all steps.
