You should disable WP Bakery Page Builder if you are going to use the Elementor version. The installation is really simple with the new Smart Theme Setup. Simply select your favourite page builder and install the required plugins. Then, you can import an Elementor or WP Bakery demo depending on your choice.

I installed the zip file / theme I was sent. It doesn’t have a child theme? So that means any future updates will be overwritten?

I now have three versions of the theme i.e Hub, Hub (Elementor/Smart Theme), Hub Child. https://i.imgur.com/m34qn66.png

Should I have removed the original/store version first?

Also please check support tickets. I have several open tickets from 3 Aug waiting for help.

Hi there,

You should remove the old theme and plugins before installing the Elementor version. Once you install the new theme, the smart wizard will direct you to install the plugins/demos. You can still use Hub Child if you want to make code changes in the theme.

I believe the tickets are already responded.

Unfortunately, it is not possible to hide all the theme/plugin names. You can import multiple demos to get the inner pages. Simply disable media, theme options, and widgets while importing another demo. Please keep in mind that multiple demo imports might change your settings.
