Hi there, the email does not get properly rendered in the Mailchimp editor. The carousel on top with buttons is displayed in list view instead of just one.

Yes, we are aware of that issue, the MailChimp editor has trouble rendering the carousel menu and strips the template of it’s interactive functionality.
We recommend to use a service such as Brevo to send interactive emails.

Tried to get the interactive features to work in Mailchimp for a couple of hours. No luck. The video box doesn’t even show the fall-back image in iOS mail let alone the video controls. I viewed your tutorials several times and followed them. Still no luck. I downloaded the template without modifications and clicked the Mailchimp box per the tutorials and none of the “interactive” features worked.

My apologies for the trouble. Some email service providers remove the necessary coding for interactive modules to work. For example, MailChimp removes CSS from the head which leads modules to break.
The fallback image should work when sent through MailChimp. Please check the hosting of the image, some domains don’t allow images to render in email. Please try imgur.com or a private domain.
For optimal interactive function, we recommend the following ESPs:
1. Campaign Monitor 2. Mailster 3. Active Campaign 4. Zoho Campaigns 5. Get Response 6. Madmimi 7. Stampready 8. Moosend 9. Aweber 10. Sendgrid 11. Sendinblue

Interactivity in email is still a fairly new concept despite being in development for many years. We’re working every day to support more email clients and ESPs. Unfortunately, Gmail and Outlook (in Browser & Windows) don’t support interactive modules.
The interactive modules (Carousel & Progressive Disclosure) will work in all the below-listed email clients and all non-supported email clients will display fallback images.

We’ve purchased the template and tested it in Active Campaign html email. It looks good, but the hover and tab animations don’t work in Gmail Desktop on Mac Chrome Browser.
We thought Gmail would support at least some animations. Which client should we test with to see the animations? Is Gmail supported at all – or mobile mail? Or is our only option the fallback expanded versions?

Unfortunately, Gmail doesn’t support hard-coded interactive modules at the moment no matter what ESP you use.
The only way to make interactive content work in Gmail is with AMP (A library for interactive content). We are working on developing the AMP email template to release on Themeforest soon.
Yes, the fallback is the only option now for interactive modules in the Gmail web and Gmail mobile application.
Interactive modules are supported in the following clients:
- Apple Mail 7 / 8 - Outlook 2011 / 2016 for Mac - Mozilla Thunderbird - iPad and iPad mini iOS - iPhone iOS - Android Mail - Windows Mobile - AOL (Chrome, Firefox & Safari)

I LOVE this template! And for the most part, it’s working marvelously! However, for some reason, the mobile version hides the collapsible drop down information, and only shows the little image within that section… How can I unhide the text copy that is next to that image in the collapsed section?
