Hi,
I am having an issue with my website. My hosting provider will help me with it, but they said the theme needs to be updated, and I realized that I customized the main theme without using a child theme! Is there a way for me to install the child theme & copy over all of my customizations? Or some other way to do it so I don’t lose everything after updating the theme?

What you can do is download the latest version of the theme from envato and then use a tool like kaleidoscope file compare to compare our theme to yours and see what you have changed.

Thanks for the suggestion. If I would export my theme settings (to import to child theme) & copy over my custom css code, would that work too?

Yes, that should work. If you export the theme settings and import them into the child theme, and then copy over your custom CSS, your settings and styling will be preserved. Just make sure the child theme is properly activated before importing the settings, and place the custom CSS in the child theme’s Custom CSS area (or the child theme’s stylesheet) rather than the parent theme. This way, your changes will remain intact even when the parent theme is updated.

It seems my site itself is working – but I cannot get into the wordpress admin panel.
Seems to have a critical error. The error seems to be stemming from the theme

I subscribe to Envato Elements on a yearly basis – if i now need to buy a license versus just pay for annual support I can- but only if that will fix the error – otherwise i will buy a different theme and just rewrite the site – i don’t want to buy the theme/support just to find out it will not fix the theme issues.

Yes, that issue has been fixed in a previous update. You will need to purchase the theme on ThemeForest (Larch is no longer available in Elements) and update your theme and plugins to the latest versions. Good day, I use your template on two websites, the portfolio cube plugin stopped working for me – the plugin freezes completely when I want to access it and edit it – insert photos. It completely freezes the whole backend. Thanks for the advice, I wouldn’t like to completely change the portfolio on the websites.

Have you recently installed and activated any new plugin? It might be conflicting with your current content, try deactivating them and if that doesn’t help rollback any changes you recently made so you can pinpoint what might be causing the issue.

the only thing that was done on the websites was updating wordpress. I read on the Internet that many people have a problem with this – that they did not update the plugin to a newer version of wordpress and there is a problem with outdated jquery on the plugin. I tried writing to the developer but no response. TAk if you can advise me when the plugin is part of the page you are selling. well thank you
We tested on our installation and everything is working well with the latest WP version. Try disabling any non theme required plugins, that should help pinpoint the issue.

I turned off all the plugins that were in use since it started giving me an error – I turned off all the woocomerce modules – they were installed last. Everything was working before, but the error still persists. Do you have any other tips? well thank you
It only works for me using the jQuery Migrate Helper plugin. Only then do I get to the cube portfolio plugin
Make sure you have the latest version of the cubeportfolio plugin which is shipped with the theme package. You can use the Easy Theme and Plugin Upgrades WordPress plugin and use the zip file as you’d install a new plugin. Hope that helps!

Mostly of the page builder elements works well on backend and frontend editor, but some elements like special tabs, cubeportfolio and sliders, you can only edit them on backend editor.

Hello Supp, I cannot find any way how to edit my hamburger menu icon on my mobile phone neither the hamburger menu items/subitems. There are some options in the Larch Style Options –> Menus –> Submenu Items, but very limited.

Instagram has changed theirs API, but we already make a theme update and added the new api. You just need to update theme and plugins (all of them). You can download the latest versions from your themeforest account.
