Just downloaded the project and ran npm install and npm run dev. Once in the localhost:3000 I go to signup page and the moment I start writing something in name field I get this error. (I still haven’t done any change in the project)
client.js?06a0:96 TypeError: this.formatter is not a function at VueComponent.formatValue (form-text.js?40fc:155) at VueComponent.onInput (form-text.js?40fc:235) at invokeWithErrorHandling (vue.runtime.esm.js?2b0e:1854) at HTMLInputElement.invoker (vue.runtime.esm.js?2b0e:2179)
Som more info: ➜ luma-nuxt-v2.2.0 npm -v 6.14.6 ➜ luma-nuxt-v2.2.0 node -v v12.18.3 It’s chrome in mac version 86.0.4240.198 (Official Build) (x86_64)
Guys this is still failing! Tried it in ubuntu from the master branch of repo and no luck Why don’t you have a lock file? I’m pretty sure a library has introduced a breaking change and now the application doesn’t work
Ok finally I did the investigation myself (kind of disappointed I had to do it) It’s bootstrap-vue which has introduced the error 12 days ago and since you don’t have any lock file whoever download the project is gonna have the same error. Please please include a lock file asap
Hi,
The issue was solved on our end.
Just update the following package:
npm install fmv-input-group-merge@1.1.1
For new installs it will update automatically from v1.1.0 since it’s a patch version update.
Thanks!
Hi, i’ve downloaded Luma Nuxt – NuxtJS Vue LMS from the Elements Envato Subscription, could i get access to the gitlab repo? @jsp.agung . Thank you.

Hello, man. I use your Luma Vue version 1.1.0. I have read README.md and while executing “npm run dev” I have got an error on browser “sesssion.getSettingsFromRequest is not a function”! I was writing you about this a week ago but it was left without answer( What is the problem and how could I solve this?
Hi,
Try locking the version for the fm-app-settings package to v5.3.2 like this:
npm install fm-app-settings@5.3.2
And then try npm run dev again. Lert me know if that worked.
Thanks, that’s worked! Will there be any patch/fix or will the version of fm-app-settings stay constant?
Hi, i have purchased the template. Can you give me access to the gitlab repo. My account is @aru-shiru.

you can have the full log here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1FV1K-AYjlMwjLwZiwRiyQR6fbDvunGmy/view?usp=sharingI Manage to fix that. Needed to add: Nuxt and saas to the dependencies
and change the app.yaml from the default one to
handlers: – url: /_nuxt static_dir: dist/_nuxt
Hello there! There are some important changes: 1) deny all access for all previous github and gitlab accounts from our side; 2) give access to download packages of the project to @foolchaos, it is available on github and gitlab.
Hi,
Access granted! Could you please let me know which are the accounts you wish to remove?
Thank you!
Remove accounts like @nursatb, please. Thank you)
While using npm run serve I have got this error in browser on localhost:3000: (intermediate value).getSettingsFromReques is not a function. An error occurred while rendering the page.
Hi,
Which version of Luma Nuxt are you using?
I use the next v1.1.0.
And I use Luma vue not Luma Nuxt.
Is this template Nuxt only or does it has Nuxt and Vue versions? I’m mainly interested in Vue only.
Hi,
Thank you for your interest. It’s only Nuxt however in a couple of days we’ll be releasing the Vue CLI version.
Hi, how can I customize the login page? I’m not familiar with the project structure (I assume it’s not “pure” nuxt). Thanks
Let me expand the question, is there a customization guide (or a plan for one)?
Hi,
The project structure respects the Nuxt standard locations, for example the pages and components folders at root.
The vendor folder is simply a collection of private npm modules which are loaded from the package.json file and installed into node_modules.
As you can notice in every sample page from the nuxt pages folder, we’re importing the actual page component from a vue-luma package which is effectively loading from node_modules/vue-luma which is installed there with npm install from vendor/vue-luma.
That’s all there is to it. You can use them just like any other npm installed package.
I’d like to do a more in-depth guide on the documentation regarding the implementation details and also some recommendations on customization however it would help if you could provide some feedback on the major pain points you’re having so I can try to address them in a guide.
Thank you!

Hi,
Not sure why you’re getting that error. Just cloned the repo myself and npm install succeds just fine.
Here’s my npm and node versions:
➜ luma-nuxt-test git:(master) npm --version 6.14.8 ➜ luma-nuxt-test git:(master) node --version v12.7.0 ➜ luma-nuxt-test git:(master)
Try running the—legacy-peer-deps flag.
npm install --legacy-peer-deps
It worked, thanks
Hi, please grant access to giltab to @slillo-coriolis, I just purchased a license. Thanks
Hi, access granted!
I bought the wrong version for my devs. I needed the HTML version.
Please can you switch it?
Hi,
Yes, we can give you a full refund, however only if you haven’t downloaded the item. If you’re eligible, please submit a format refund request through your Envato account and we’ll process it as soon as possible.
Thank you!
I dont want a refund. I want the html one. I am not sure how to use the vue one.
Hi. I’ve purchased a license. Please grant me access to gitlab repository this is my username: @ismail-fathi Thanks!
Hi,
I apologize for the delay! I’m so sorry, somehow I missed your comment. Access granted just now!
It’s fine thank you!
I have purchased the vue.js version by mistake and we’re struggling to use that. I request you to replace it with the HTML version. Please revert back as soon as possible.
Hi. I’ve purchased a license. Please grant access to gitlab.com account @hadimhd Thanks
Done!
Hi, I’m very interested on the Vue Nuxt version of this template. but need it with all the “Luma Bootstrap includes 105 page” Any idea on how long before guys roll those out. I want to use this for my next project. thank you
Hi,
Thank you for your interest. It’s work in progress. What do you need most from Luma HTML which is not currently included in Luma Nuxt? Let me know and maybe I could prioritize what you need.
Thanks!
Actually most of them APPS :
Enterprise, Community, Productivity, CMS, eCommerce, Mini Secondary App Layout, Dark App Layout and Learnly
I wanted to buy that one and use it with angular, but moving jquery stuff too angular might be too much work. but if you close on this one I can wait.
Ok, great! I can’t promise an ETA, however I’m working for all of these to be included as soon as possible. Thanks for reaching out!
Hi there! I’ve purchased your template, thank you very much for this project. Please grant me access to the github repo, @vitrusavuk
I understand that in static mode that app is being served from the /dist folder. right? so what do i need to do to show the changes and customizations in my components live? and is there a way for the changes to show on localhost:3000 automatically?
Hi,
Thanks for purchasing and for your appreciation!
Please grant me access to the github repo, @vitrusavuk
You’ll need a Gitlab.com account for access to the private repository.
I understand that in static mode that app is being served from the /dist folder. right?
Yes, that’s correct. You need to deploy the dist folder to your hosting provider.
so what do i need to do to show the changes and customizations in my components live? and is there a way for the changes to show on localhost:3000 automatically?
I’m not sure what you mean. Running the development server with npm run dev will always compile the latest components and changes. Also to update the dist folder you need to run npm run build or npm run generate depending if you want full static site generation or not. I suggest you take a look at NuxtJS documentation website for more in-depth information on how things work.
If there’s anything else I can help with please let me know! Also, let me know the Gitlab username after you’ve signed up if you need git access. Thank you!
I’ve been changing the “Footer” component from the /vendor/vue-luma/components folder – no changes…i’ve saved, used npm run generate, npm run build, and so on. Sorry if i sound too noob)
Hello Frontend Matter, how could a component of the vendor / vue-luma folder be customized?
Hi,
You could do this in several ways.
1. Use props and slots where they are available.
2. Extend the components in vendor/vue-luma from a local component:
./components/pages/login.vue
<template>
// copy and customize the template from vue-luma/pages/login.vue
</template>
<script>
import {LumaLoginPage} from 'vue-luma'
export default {
extends: LumaLoginPage
}
</script>
./pages/login.vue
<template>
<luma-login-page
:title="title" />
</template>
<script>
// replace this
// import {LumaLoginPage} from 'vue-luma'
// with this
import LumaLoginPage from '~/components/pages/login.vue'
export default {
components: {
LumaLoginPage
},
// ...
}
</script>
We’ll add regular updates with props and slots so you can inject your functionality and customizations more easily in most components and pages.
Hi I’ve purchased your template, could i get access to the gitlab repo? ... Or is there any other way to install it
Hi,
Sure, let us know your Gitlab username so we can give you access.
However note that starting with Luma Nuxt v2.0.0 you no longer need access to the private dependencies on gitlab, as they are included in the download package within the vendor folder.
You can instruct npm to install the dependencies from a local folder (already done), if you check the included package.json:
"dependencies": {
"ui-huma": "file:vendor/ui-huma",
"vue-luma": "file:vendor/vue-luma"
},
This will make a link from vendor/ui-huma to node_modules/ui-huma and you can then use it like any other npm package.
Just run npm install and then start the development server with npm run dev which you can then access in your browser at http://localhost:3000.
Thanks!

@FrontendMatter .. i would like to use the Pure Vue version …. i tried using the vue-luma in the vendor folder as a standalone vue app … But cant find the entry point like either main.js or App.vue… All i am after is the complete control of the template without nuxt
Hi,
Happy to let you know the pure Vue.js version which is using a Vue CLI setup was just submitted for approval on Envato.
You can see it here https://www.lumalms.com/luma-vue
Once it’s live there will be a Purchase button available.
Thank you.
