You will need to update Wyde Core including other bundled plugins.

After you update the theme, you will see a notification message to update the bundled plugins. If the notification was dismissed, navigate to Appearance -> Install Plugins to see the what you need to update.

Also, you will need to purge all caches after updating.

With wordpress.com, you will have limited customisation options, it doesn’t allow any cache and speed optimization plugin either, as you can see here: https://wordpress.com/support/incompatible-plugins/

We do not recommend using wordpress.com if you would like to have full control over your website.

If you couldn’t install any optimizer, all you can do is choose the appropriate image size to solve the “Properly size images” issue.

For example:

In the section “The MindMovers Model” on your homepage, it actually displays the image in 600×400 pixels but you selected the “Full Width (1280px)” size for that image.

The solution: You will need to change the “Image Size” for the Single Image element to smaller, or resize your image to fit the image area before uploading to your website and then choose the “Original” size to show.

1) It seems to be working fine on my end. I’ve tried it with different browsers and it doesn’t look like the picture you provided.

However, looks like the featured image of your first post is smaller than it should be. When using a Masonry layout, it will display the featured image of the first post bigger than other ones so the recommended image sizes are 960×960 pixels or bigger to make sure the images will be cropped to fit perfectly in the layout.

2) You can show or hide the share buttons under Theme Options -> Blog -> Blog Meta -> Social Sharing Icons.

All static words are included in the overlap.pot in the folder languages in the theme. You can translate them into another language by using POEdit or a translation plugin such as Loco Translate. If you are using WPBakery Page Builder 6.1 or greater, you don’t need to update it and can normally use it with this theme. The new update (v6.2) will be included in the next update of the theme.

However, if you would like to upgrade it right now. Here are the instructions:

1. Navigate to Plugins screen on your WordPress admin.

2. Deactivate then delete WPBakery Page Builder plugin.

3. After you delete it, you will see a notification message at the top of your admin page. Click on “Begin installing plugins” and then install it from the Install Bundled Plugins page. This will download and install the new version on your website. If the notification was dismissed, navigate to Appearance -> Install Plugins.

This is not working! I have remove it, but no pop up an no way to download the page builder without paying 45 USD…

Sounds like the notification was dismissed. Then, delete that plugin again and go to Appearance -> Install Plugins, you will see WPBakery Page Builder in the bundled plugins list and can install it on that page. However, if it still doesn’t work. You can normally use version 6.1 with the theme. The new update (6.2) will be included in the next update of the theme that will be available to download soon.

Looks like you have set the row to full screen mode so it will stretch to fit the whole height of the browser window then you will have the white space under the info boxes.

You will need to edit the settings for the info boxes row and change the Content Width from “Full Screen” to “Full Width” to fix this.

You can change the mobile menu font colour in Theme Options -> Navigation -> Mobile Navigation, change the Text Style to Custom then choose the Text Color.

i followed the instruction in documentation i have the envato and latest theme update still says i need to install the key to update the plugin?

If you are using Slider Revolution 6.1.8 or greater, you don’t need to update it and can normally use it with the theme. You can ignore that notification message, it is available for direct customer who has purchased that plugin individually.

However, the new version of that plugin will be included in the next update of the theme.

It’s the Lazyload feature from Jetpack plugin that hides the member’s image.

If you would like to use that plugin, you may need to disable the Lazyload to fix this.

1) When using the Photoset layout for the portfolio, it will display your portfolio images in slideshow and it requires 2 or more images to work.

To work around this issue, you may need to add one or more images to the Gallery Options under Overlap Options -> Portfolio on the single portfolio edit screen. Otherwise, you may need to temporarily change the Portfolio Grid layout from Photoset to another layout.

Anyway, thank you for reporting this issue. We will look into this and fix it in the next update of the theme.

2) Indeed, the single post title should be H1. Actually, when you show the page title under Overlap Options -> Title Area on the single post, it will display the blog post title in H1.

However, there seems to be a bug with the theme so when you hide the page title, it will be H2 instead. Again, thank you for reporting this issue. It will be fixed in the next update.

The “Scroll below Slider” will scroll to the content placed beneath the slider. It couldn’t scroll to a specific section on the page.

Instead, you should select “Scroll To ID” for the “Action Type” and then put the Row ID (without spaces) such as the-right-match into the “Scroll To ID” field.

Also, here are the instructions on how to set the ID for the row on your homepage:

1. Edit your homepage with WPBakery Page Builder. Then edit the settings of the row which you would like to set the ID.

2. In the Row Settings window, enter the-right-match in the Row ID field.

1. You have set custom padding for that Text Block. You will need to remove the left padding from the Design Options in the Text Block settings to fix this.

2. By default, the info boxes will be centred automatically on mobile device. Unfortunately, it might not look good when there are bullet points included in the info box’s text. You may need to set the alignment for the bullet points to make them left aligned on mobile device too. In the text editor, select the bulleted list then choose ‘Align left’.

3. The header doesn’t show the line on mobile because it will sit too far from the content element above it.

However, the header doesn’t add any space even it doesn’t show the line on mobile. The space is from the section (row) that looks great on desktop but might be pretty large on mobile. Thank you for reporting this issue, we will look into this and will decrease the gap between rows on mobile in the next update.

Sounds like that you enabled the “Block Scroll” so that the page couldn’t scroll vertically to see the content below the slider. You will need to turn off the Block Scroll under Navigation Options -> Touch on the slider edit screen to enable the scrolling.

However, you can turn on the “Mobile Swipe Enabled” and “Desktop Swipe Enabled” if you would like to swipe left and right to see the next and previous slides. Also, please ensure that you have selected “Horizontal” for the “Swipe Dir”.

However, this theme was built with WPBakery Page Builder and all templates and demo content won’t work with other page builders. That means, if you would like to use the Elementor you will need to create your site from scratch.

Also, your template and layout will be based on the Elementor. You won’t be able to use the Overlap layout and additional features from the theme because they are built based on WPBakery Page Builder so you might not have your website look like our demos.

So, we recommend using WPBakery Page Builder to make sure your website will look exactly like our demos and will work perfectly with this theme.
