Can images within the post be tagged so that they can be sorted on the home page? For example, this logo https://www.barbaraetzkorn.com/portfolio-item/abba/ will not show up when I hit logos on the front sorting navigation menu…only the main home page images sort. Would each sub-post-image have to be their own post?

Anyway, the images within the post couldn’t be tagged. Instead, you may need to add a tag to the portfolio post so you can choose specific portfolio to show on different pages.

There are 2 ways to display the full screen video on your page.
1. Set it as the page title background. In Overlap Options -> Title Area at the bottom of the page edit screen. Change the Size to “Full Screen” and Background to “Video” then choose the Background Video from your Media Library.
2. Use the Slider Revolution to display a full screen video. In the Slider Revolution section on your WordPress admin, create a module (slider). In the module layout settings, change Size to “Full-Screen”, please check out this link: https://www.themepunch.com/slider-revolution/module-layout/

After you create a full screen slider, you will need to add it using WPBakery Page Builder to your page.

Hi, I wonder if the theme is compatible with woocommerce 3.7.1. WC Status page says that: “overlap/woocommerce/cart/cart.php version 3.5.0 is obsolete. The actual version is 3.7.0”. May I have problems by this?
That is just a warning message, you can simply ignore it.
You can normally use this theme with the latest version of WooCommerce (3.7.0).
Anyway, thank you for reporting this issue. We will update WooCommerce templates in the next update of the theme.

I have just uploaded the theme and Im having a few problems already.
The key issue is that on the homepage the menu wont show as the text is in white. If you hover on it, the links will show up. If you then click through to the page the menu appears (on individual pages).
Could you have a look www.creator-club.com.
Im also having a big issue with the homepage, if I click on it the Wordpress top bar doesn’t show (again, it does on all other pages) so I cant navigate easily.

The menu text colour on the demo homepage has been set to white because the background on that page is dark.
You can change the text colour on that page under Overlap Options -> Header. Change “Foreground Style” to “Dark” or “Default” so it will be visible.
Also, you can disable the Transparent Header setting to show the header menu background colour instead of transparency.

Sure, you can use it on any demos.
All you have to do is to edit your Portfolio Grid then change the View to Grid (With Space) and Columns to 3. I just replied to your email too so you will find the screenshot there.
Hi… after taking away a page from the menu(food version) and trying to put it back…it has disappeared…the page is working…but it does not appear on the home page and the anchoring goes wrong …any idea?

The blog posts on the one page demo is in the “Recent Posts” page. Navigate to Pages on your WordPress admin, find the “Recent Posts” page to edit the Blog Posts element so you will be able to change the settings of the blog there.

It is from the plugin called “Full Page/ Full Width Background Slider” on your website.
Actually, this theme comes with full page and full width slider so you don’t need to install that plugin at all.

That plugin is not included in this theme and not included in the plugins support list. You will need to deactivate it from your Plugins screen.

Hi, it was a problem with the css-id: full-nav-logo. Where can i find this logo? The logo loads from a subdomain
You can find it in Theme Options -> Navigation. When you choose “Full Screen” for the “Layout” setting. You will find the “Full Screen Navigation” settings including the Logo at the bottom of the screen.

Seems like that error is from the Redux Framework plugin on your site. I have no idea why you have that plugin installed on your site but it is not a theme’s bundled plugin so you can deactivate it and it won’t affect the theme.

Hi. I just downloaded the theme and during installation of the Slide Revolution plugin, got locked out of WP. Did some research and it seems to be something with the plugin itself. But now I have no access or method to get into my WP account. The error that reads is “This site is experiencing technical difficulties. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions.”
I have yet to set up the admin email address and was to do it after I loaded the them, so I don’t have the instructions to remedy/recover what’s happened to the site.

Sounds like it is a PHP compatibility issue. Could you please let me know which PHP version you are using? If it is older than 7.0, try to upgrade it to see if it works.
Anyway, if you couldn’t access your WordPress admin page. You may need to open a cPanel or File Manager on your web server and delete the Slider Revolution plugin’s folder “wp-content/plugins/revslider”, then try to access your WordPress admin page again.
That did fix it, but it seems like the package has bugs or errors on the rev slider and the wyde core files. Neither can be uploaded without the same error.
If you couldn’t install the bundled plugins, you can manually install them on your Plugins screen. All bundled plugins are included in the main zip file when you download “All files & documentation”. Extract the zip file, you will find the plugins in the folder “Plugins”, you can find more details in the documention: https://wydethemes.com/overlap/documentation/#package-content
In the Plugins -> Add New screen, click on “Upload Plugin” to upload the plugin zip file.

I am assuming the problem was the PHP version. Have upgraded to 7.1, but MySQL is missing and according to my host provider, the latest PHP version doesn’t support MySQL. He’s working on seeing how it can be fixed and until then, I’ll just have to wait.

If you are using Slider Revolution 5.x, you can enable the “Custom Grid Sizes” at the bottom of the Slider Settings screen so you can set different font sizes and styles including element position for each screen size.

It is in the slider settings. When you edit your slider, select the Slider Settings tab, you will find the Navigation section on the right hand side. Select the Bullets tab, then disable the bullets option to hide the white circle on the slider.

This error usually happens when the file you’re trying to upload is larger than the default upload and execution limits set by your WordPress site.

hi, i cant do my website run faster… i have autoptimize, wp rocket and a cdn. If i make all changes recommended by plugin my site run such more faster, but some things on display break! how can i optimize it more?

Hi support, I have a menu item, linking to a section of a page:https://www.windingroaddistilling.com.au/#newsletter which redirects correctly for desktop but when viewed on mobile, redirects to the page but not to the specific position on the page (row id)... can you comment on this please? TIA
Looks like you have 2 sections with the same ID. However, the row ID must be unique, multiple elements cannot have the same id on the same page.
When multiple elements have the same ID, the browser will select the first one. Unfortunately, on that page the first one is hidden on mobile then it won’t scroll to that section.
If would like to display different content on desktop and mobile. You have to show or hide the columns instead of the entire row.
Hi there, thanks for the reply. I actually couldn’t find the two sections you mention. However, I’ve moved the row ID and it seems to be working ok.
Not only the Newsletter section but you have also set the row ID “newsletter” for the last two rows (with the mountain background).
