Its an issue with Windows and we tried our best to custom hint the font and that is the best output it actually is better on win 7.

We had over a month of research of making fonts for pages we actually custom hinted fonts for windows.

Yes we do the current one is not very optimized with mobile touch as its powered by jquery UI touch. Will be moving it to more GPU accelerated version like HTML5 touch drag with translate3d

Hi there, yes the logo displayed at pages.revox.io is an svg font, we used adobe illustrator to illustrate this and then converted it to .svg to get pixel perfect sharp rendering. The reason why we didn’t use the font logo throughout is because it consumes alot of memory to render a svg font, and in terms of the product (pages.revox.io/latest) we used png’s to reduce lag specifically in portable devices such as phones and tablets (Hardware efficiency)

How did you guys differentiate on where to use font and where to use png’s? In other words which places do you think would affect performance of the template using font vs png.

The problem with fonts is the grid system that its built on, if its built on a higher grid like font awesome

when you use it with a font size of 12px or less it starts to loose the quality. So basically there a few more factors like that. If your icon set is like 10 icons then images would be fine but then again you will have to maintain two version the normal one and a 2x for retina displays

Its debatable whether to use fonts or images, its either to comprise quality or file weight its totally your call

okay..i don’t really understand…but what i am trying to say is..i want to build a backend for my repair website. the website has a lot of forms to fill and they all go to a database. Can pages work as my backend where it gets all the info and maybe puts them in tables?

Ok, once you download pages it will not automatically integrate to your website and database and work that integrating Pages into your database you will have to hire a developer. Other than that its a yes

But you can always use jquery to write a simple code to do the collapse function, is that what you want ?

Hi there That is quite strange

You can disable search by removing the $(‘[data-pages=”search”]’).search({...}) in assets/js/scripts.js.

I had changed the onKeyEnter per the guidelines and no effect so I just removed the scripts.js file altogether and all is okay now.
