Fantastic template! I was wondering how to combine two variations of headers. The social media icons in combination with the owl slide.
If we look on this website: https://sapphire-media.com/daveykoch/Desktop works fantastic. But somehow on mobile the background of the icons is gray and is not the full 100% height. Probably very easy to fix.

First of all, love Pillar. Great way to create a website easily and quickly. I had just one question regarding the footers. Is there a way to have instagram in the footer instead of twitter? That would help out a bunch since i’m a photographer and use instagram way more than twitter.

Yes that is the method I recommend for when you have multiple forms to send from to different addresses. Keeping it “behind the scenes” in the mail.php / mail_sender.php is the best way so you never expose the email addresses to the wider web.

I fixed it myself: the parallax script was blocking the scroll event

FYI – There seems to be a compatibility issue with iPad Pro Safari users where the YouTube BG Embed does not play correctly, it gives the legacy youtube icon and does not allow users click and play the video, or click and open a tab to youtube correctly. Also, it looks like a footer is not an option in the variant configuration and needs to be manually created.
Actually, the footer issue was a user error. The YouTube item is a verified limitation, however.

The YouTube background plugin does not play the videos on mobile devices, this is generally a Youtube restriction and given that the iPad Pro runs iOS, it is considered a mobile device – instead a fallback image should be used. Hi There, thanks for the great product. I have a small problem, but can’t figure out how to fix it.
I’ve embedded a video on the landpage. The theme CSS creates a subtle shadow around it, but with a 16:9 video embedded, the shadow ends 10px below the video. Screenshot: http://djh.d.pr/x6FLzZ (pumped up the shadow to make it more visible).
Tried with CSS (inspect element) a lot of things, but can’t get it right. Any suggestions?

Is there a way to have a slider in a .imageblock > .imageblock__content with divs with cover background images? I can’t get it to work. Seems to be related to the slider height. Owl Carousel doesn’t get a height on the items and “stage”... I need the height to be auto so it’s controlled by the section height. Any clues how to achieve this?

Great theme, but I find the scroll hijack (fast/smooth scroll) to be really annoying. It’s scrolling way too fast, at least on Chrome/Windows. Is there a way to disable this? I would like to not hijack the scroll at all. I tried to comment out some stuff in scripts.js, but the smallest change crashed the site (documentReady related errors).

Oh! It was the parallax plugin that hijacked the scroll and made it super fast and jumpy. Disabling the parallax.js fixes that, but then no parallax…
Hi, you can just take the class scroll-assist off the body to use native scrolling. Let me know how that goes.

No – the slider does not work using a layered system like revolution slider, to achieve that you’d need to do it by adding your own custom HTML once you’ve exported from our builder.

Hi there, I have build about 15 html pages using variant builder in safari. When i select export as variant or html, it opens another tab for 1 second and the tab closes by itself and nothing gets exported. Can you please help me with this issue. Thanks
Hi, I’ve responded to your ticket on Ticksy now. Short answer – sorry but it is a limitation of Safari, so the quick way to move forward with a predictable result is to use the “Get Html” function on each page and copy/paste to a fresh text file for each.

There is a button on the sidebar of each page in Variant with the Words GET HTML. It is to get the HTML of your current page. The HTML will display in a textbox for you to copy out.
