Hello,

I am seeking support for the Polo theme. I’ve noticed that several links on your official support pages are currently broken.

I am using the Corporate 7 demo, but I’ve encountered a technical issue: whenever I attempt to replace the header logo, the entire header layout breaks. Additionally, I am unable to revert the header back to its original demo state.

Could you please advise on how to fix the header or restore the demo settings?

Thanks for your reminder. Sorry for the delayed answer.

To change the logo image, you need to go to your WP dashboard. Then navigate to Theme options -> Header options. There, you can upload your image to the Logotype pictogram or Retina Ready Logotype pictogram option. Retina-ready will require using the image twice in size that will be displayed.

Hi Team and others, my theme still working good with last Wordpress release, 6.8.2.

Now, I’m working to move to PHP version 8.3 requested for some plugins. It’s working good in the test site, except for a strange behavior: images aren’t optimize at the same size in the homepage (which it uses the last WPBakery Page Builder 8.5 version) I see different size on carousel (that’s my fault in the past: have different sizes, but they were good cut by the theme) and in the other section/colums/ rows. What can it be? Thanks to all.

since social networks are changed (Twitter-X, Threads, etc.), is there a way to customize them? with Theme Options – Advanced Options – Custom CSS code? Or with a child theme?

I asked this to support, they replied to use this for Twitter X in the Additional CSS field, but it doesn’t works.

I also tried modifying code (the reference from source says .fab and not .fa ) but it doesn’t work the same.

However the current theme is using Font Awesome 5 Brands, while for example the Threads icon it’s only in the new Font Awesome 6.4.x Any idea for an update? Thanks to all.

Unfortunately, your custom CSS code won’t work without updating the icon libraries. We will update them in the next theme update to make them work for you.

There is no Hotel demo in the our WordPress theme. I think that you confused it with the HTML template POLO.

We tried make it as similar as possible but some demos was added by HTML author later and we didn’t added all.

The plugin Revolution Slider bundled with this theme is outdated and some vulnerabilities have been found in this version.

A lot of templates are not working (broken or mixed with another one): I would like to use this template eaxcalty as it is shown on the screenshot but it doesnt work. It seems it is broken, the same with few others templates but all the other one are working good.

Hi Team. When I am trying to upgrade to php 8.1 with the last Wordpress, I get a fatal error. I updated myself the WP Bakery to 7.4, but the fatal error persist (PHP Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Call to undefined function json_decode() in js_composer/include/classes/core/class-vc-manager.php:317). Did you tested Polo with php 8.1? Thanks.

Yes, we have tested Polo with PHP 8.1 and it is working fine.

Looks like the PHP JSON library is disabled in your PHP configuration. You need to talk with your hosting provider about that issue.

Hi team, in the middle, hosting provider replied to me that from php 8.0 on, json is native, and therefore always enabled of the defaults. But is this theme still supported? Because I don’t see it in your official site crumina..net, as if it is now better to switch to other theme. Thanks.

Hello, I want to use Polo to design a Catalog website (Woocommerce + Advanced Catalog Mode for WooCommerce extension. Is it possible with Polo? Are there any known conflicts between Polo and that extension? Do you know a better solution to create an ecommerce website without prices, checkout and shipping? Thank you!

We didn’t test that plugin, but I think it must work fine with the Polo theme. Anyway, you can contact us if you have some issues and we can adjust our theme to work fine with that plugin.

Several of the plugins bundled with this theme appear to be outdated and may contain security vulnerabilities.

Hi Crumina: I’ve added a plug in called Live Visitor Counter and when I tried to use it ..I got a message saying that

“Your theme has 8 widget areas, but this particular page does not display them. You can navigate to other pages on your site while using the Customiser to view and edit the widgets displayed on those pages.”

I’ve tried to add this plug-in in the widgets section, but the Live Visitor Counter doesn’t show up

My website is blank except for a small orange arrow, lower right corner. After re-installing the latest version of Polo 2.8 to updated WordPress 6.2, the Live Preview looks wonderful, but my website is blank. I’ve no idea how to problem-solve this further. I’ve tried PHP 7.4, 8.0 and 8.1 with same results: The preview looks good, but the website is blank. I’ve also deleted all themes in the File Manager and reinstalled Polo.zip seemingly successfully, and yet, blank website.

I hired someone to solve this mystery for me. Her wrote the following: Fixed the white screen error by increasing the memory limit: it was increasing from php settings in direct admin but not in wp-config.php file, so I edited that file to get rid of the error.
