I recently purchased the quark Shopify theme from ThemeForest. I am having trouble installing the demo content. Here are the details:

Description of the problem: Uploaded the demo JSON file as instructed in the documentation.
Followed all steps for importing demo content.
No error message appears, but the demo does not install correctly.

Hello I am reaching out regarding the Quark for Shopify theme. We purchased and installed this on a shopify store, but it doesn’t appear that the theme has all of the customization options advertised, and is extremely limited in customization. Also, the way that Feature area 3 and 5 utilize the images does not translate well to mobile, however Feature area 4 does. Is it possible to have all of the “Feature areas” to mimic Feature area 4, which actually looks good on mobile? I would appreciate getting some support as it appears the customization options advertised are for woocommerce, however the theme is marketed for Shopify.

Hi, this is the second time we have had to get in touch as we didn’t receive a response before. We are using the Single product Quark Shopify theme – we are not able to edit any of the features advertised on the theme demo. The theme doesn’t appear customizable at all from Shopify. Can you get to us asap on how we can manage the theme because at this point it is completely unusable.

Well there are different colors used for different blocks. So I’d suggest you to go to the tutorial below. They will help you in getting the required css for the section that you want to change and then change it accordingly in their respective css file.

This is the default skin color which can be changed from settings > Color tab on theme customization area.
Are you sure? I went to Theme Settings > Colors. There is no option to change the colour of the Play Video button. There’s only Skin Color, Body Color, Body Background Color, Header/Title Color and Inner Page Header/Title cover. Where do I go to change the colour of the Play Video button?

How do I remove or at least change styling and location of the “continue shopping” button on the cart page? I keep hitting that in my testing instead of checkout since they are identical. I am sure when we go live customers will do that same thing. Thanks Jess

The relevant code can be found in ‘cart.liquid’ template file. You can remove/relocate the button position over there.

Hello I am having issues with logo size for some reason no matter how much I resize the png it always shows up small in comparison to the original logo. I think it might be the limitations in the coding. In addition I would also like to know how I can upload more fonts to use and what coding file I should use to do that. Thank you.

I think I have it figured out for now, at least the background image part. On the home page, if you scroll to the footer, there is a blue button. I would like to eliminate that.

I saw the arrows, but they didn’t appear until after I touched the ipad screen. I’d like to make the delay between slides shorter.
Also – there seems a stock background image on the collections page (and others), can’t find where I can change that.

You can change the image in one of two ways. 1 – Change the asset image under the name ‘page-title.jpg’ 2 – Open custom.css and change the image under the css stying of ’#page-title-pro’
For delay open the snippet file ‘sliderrev.liquid’ file and search for ‘delay:9000’, then change it accordingly

I purchased this theme earlier today with 12 month support. I thought it would be a Wordpress theme, but it was not. I then immediately purchased the same theme for Wordpress. That means I paid for both Shopify and Wordpress themes. I do not know how to use Shopify, so the theme and the support won’t be of any help for me. The theme for Wordpress works perfect – it is a great theme and I was lucky to have it. I did not intend to take any advantage by buying the Shopify based theme and asking you for the refund. It is simply does not work for me at all. I am not using it and will erase it from my PC. So, could you please get the money back for the Shopify based theme ? At least the support for 12 months because no support will be needed for the Shopify version ? BTW, I purchased 12 month support for Wordpress version, which I will need to make sure my website will be up and running in the next 12 months. Your understanding would be appreciated.

Kindly contact themeforest support directly and share your wordpress purchase key with them. If they regenerate that refund request then i’ll issue the refund but they need to confirm that you’ve purchased the wordpress version.Thank you. I will do so. Hope Themeforest will understand that I am not telling completely out of sense.
I would love to buy this these but the mobile compatability is practically non-existent. Is this being addressed? The slider in the demo is not legible on mobile, the text/button should be above or below the slider image. Looking at the source, it seems very challenging to fix it, personally. Feedback would be great to help me know if this is the theme i should invest in. Thanks!
Well it is personal preference. It can be done but comes under customization. Alternatively i’d suggest you to go through our other themes whose responsive layout might be more suitable to your requirement.

BUT… there are some major bugs
Is any of this an ability to be done?
1.Feature product right on home page with add to cart button there
2. Have product images show bigger when clicked on mobile? Because right now when users hit the product images on mobile it opens some little slideshow thing.. that is a tiny little thumbnail size.. it’s not very efficient.
3. Load the image for the variant when it’s picked? It currently doesn’t switch to a red hat, if red hat variant is picked.. and so on. I know you featured a phone/tablet as the 1 product store example, however not everyone sells 1 variant 
please let me know.
