Very pleased with template. However I find the top blue container with title and breadcrumbs is a lot of wasted space. Is it possible to override the css or should I edit directly to remove the top and bottom padding ?

Paddings in the page title area are added using p classes so you can easily decrease their values on HTML.

Is there any information on the size of images. For example in the demo home page index18 you have an image which is displayed at about 430*330 px, I would like to optimise the size my images to speed up page loading. But can’t find any info regarding the sizes to use?

There is no exact dimension rule for the images. You can use any size. Please note that some of the images have 2 versions: regular size and hd (twice its size) for retina devices and it’s optional.
So what’s the best way to “update” my current files when there is an update available?

On the latest update, v1.2.0, we completely changed the file structure for better usability so starting from scratch would be the best way.

The latest update zip file is missing some HTML files. For example: – animations.html – all the ‘blocks.html’ files – carousel.html – colors.html – elements.html – modal pages etc.. etc….

Since Sandbox is a static HTML template comment section is provided only for designing purposes. You will need to manually integrate commenting functionality via PHP & MySQL. You can also use Disqus or Facebook Comments to easily add the comments functionality to your website.
Hi Guys, I’m having some trouble editing HTML pages in Mac Dreamweaver with large video items e.g. the large video in Demo Layout V. Dreamweaver just freezes. I’ve tried the last 2 versions of Dreamweaver. Is this something you’ve seen before? Which Html editor do you recommend (I like the Dreamweaver real time preview). thanks, Nick

We haven’t used DW before but this appears to be a common issue with the application. When we searched freezing issues with DW on the web we stumbled upon many similar comments. One of the users suggests this: “I find that the best way to use Code view is to make sure that you have Design view activated rather than Live view, especially when using server side code.” Maybe you can try this if you would like to continue working with DW.
We use Nova app from Panic for coding and we don’t experience any freezing issues on its preview mode. There are many free HTML editors you can try. For example Atom.io. We just tested index5.html with it as well, and it haven’t caused any freezing issues either.
Many thanks for your advice guys – I’m trying the trial version of Nova and I agree, it very smooth to use. No freezing.
Just a bit for feedback – dreamweaver 2021 works fine so long as you work in code view.

Since Sandbox is built with Bootstrap, Bootstrap tables are already a part of it. You can find table examples and markup on Boostrap docs: https://getbootstrap.com/docs/5.0/content/tables/

Hi, I’m trying to implement RTL as well as LTR, but I’m struggling with applying RTL for the css in style.css. for example text-lg-start forces the text to be aligned left. Doesn’t the template support RTL?

Thank you for purchasing Sandbox. Currently we don’t have RTL support out of the box. With the use of RTLCSS project (https://rtlcss.com/learn/usage-guide/install/) you can generate RTL version of style.css but some theme specific styles won’t have support for RTL.
Your latest release is not working correctly, If you look at your style file (assets/dev/css/style.css) your references to uil font are completely missing. This only happened in the recent update file – can you send me or update the theme so it does work correctly please?

We just checked the icon paths in assets/dev/css/style.css and they appear to be correct. Please make sure you have the latest version of assets/dev/fonts/ on your website.

Thank you for the heads up. While this doesn’t effect how the icons work or prevent them from working properly, it is important to be able to see the icon contents in css. This was related to gulp sass compiling and we just pushed an update to fix icon contents. You can download the latest version (1.1.2) from the Downloads page.
