Hi, my site got infected and I had to delete it, so I couldn’t deactivate the license, but I want to activate the theme on the same domain, please.

Old Domain (no longer functioning): https://limescents.com My current domain: https://limescents.mystagingzone.com/

Thank you in advance

I’ll be waiting for your message so we can activate the theme on your installation. Most likely, the same issue blocking emails on your end is also preventing external requests from your site, which is why the theme couldn’t be activated.

Oh I see. Thank you for your input. I just sent another message using “contact author” on your support page. I hope this works

Hi,

Thank you for providing access to the site. I was able to activate it successfully using your purchase code, everything worked just fine.

It’s possible that there are some restrictions on your network. I also couldn’t reply to your email at mah............ent@gmail.com , it says “Message blocked.” Please check with your hosting provider for more details.

Other than that, the theme license activation issue is now resolved.

Wishing you success!

Hello! We have already reset your license, and you can now activate it normally on your website. ;)

Hello again, I had already activated it, but for some reason when I imported the entire elements section and everything it included, it didn’t import because it gave me a 404 error, so I deleted it and reinstalled it, and again I can’t activate it. I’m so sorry, but if you can help me again so I can activate it. Thank you.

Done! ;)

Very disappointed, the theme is installed in WordPress but unable to edit or customize. please come up with the help.

The whole template is an issue, I have shared the step by step procedure of adding elements and applying theme style to header. It is importing but not reflecting.

I have never seen such problems with any other theme for my 7+ years experience. I have shooten the mail do revert back with solution.

Guys please respond,

This is what i have purchased : https://shock.codings.dev/home-2/

Now this is how it is coming: https://cre8vstudio.com/

This is the bad experience I am facing after getting the theme. I have been working on this for almost one week with no solution for this issue.

No proper header, footer, no themes are getting installed, no pages are getting installed.

Looking forward to hear from you

Hi,

The demos at https://shock.codings.dev/ use the exact same theme that you have. This means it is possible to configure your site in the same way.

Please note that reading the theme documentation is essential to understand how everything works. It seems that you are having trouble finding how to edit and configure the Header/Navbar.

I kindly ask you to read this: https://shock.codings.dev/docs/global-sections

How to edit your Navbar/Grid Menu?

  1. Go to Shock Theme > Global Sections
  2. Edit “Without Elementor” to choose display preferences
  3. Edit with Elementor to fully customize everything

Let us know if you still have any questions.

Hello! Thank you for reaching out to us! We have already reset your license, and you can now activate it normally on your website.

Hello, i activated 1 license on old website that is no longer avaliable and is not currently in use. How can i use theme purchase code again?

Hi, we have already reset your license. You can now activate it normally on your site.

When deleting a site, please remember to first go to the Shock panel and deactivate the license so that it becomes available for use on the production site.

If you have any questions, feel free to let us know!

Hello i have purchased the theme, i cant import demo content. It says:

ttps://codings.dev/package/demo-data/shock/All.xml! Reden: 403 – Forbidden.

Hi,

Error 403: This error indicates that your server is blocking external requests. This can happen due to security settings, firewall rules, or hosting restrictions that prevent automated downloads.

You can manually import the XML file by following these steps:

Download the XML file:

  • Use this link: Download XML File
  • Note: Clicking the link will open the XML file in your browser. To save it, right-click on the page and select “Save As”, ensuring the file is saved in XML format.

Import into WordPress:

  • Navigate to your WordPress Dashboard.
  • Go to Tools > Import and upload the downloaded XML file.

Alternative Suggestion:

For a smoother development process, I recommend building your site locally using the excellent (and free) tool LocalWP. Once your site is ready, you can migrate it to your server.

If you have any questions or run into issues, feel free to reach out.

Hello, I’m experiencing an issue with the image visualisations in this portfolio template. Here’s the website: https://bit.ly/42dicNj.

I left the filter empty to not display so that no images would show initially, but when I land on the page, all images from every category appeared instead of just those from the first tab/category.

Could you help me resolve this issue?

Hi, thank you for contacting us!

The ideal solution would be to have this option directly in the Elementor Widget of the theme. We will work on this and implement it in a future version.

To fix this for you now, go to Shock Theme > Customize > Additional JS and add the following code:

jQuery(document).ready(function($) {
    // Check if the button exists before attempting to click it
    var brandingButton = $('button[data-value="Branding"]');
    if (brandingButton.length) {
        // Wait for the button to load on the page before forcing the click
        setTimeout(function() {
            brandingButton.trigger('click');
        }, 1000); // Adjust the delay time if necessary
    } else {
        console.log('Button with data-value="Branding" was not found.');
    }
});

This will ensure the “Branding” category is triggered when the page loads.

I hope this helps.

Dear Shock team, I want to ask you how can I quickly import all shop pages shown in the preview demo.

Apologies for not being clear. I can edit it, but I don’t see the ellipsis (…) that indicates there is more text. I’ve attached a screenshot of what I see on my theme here: Screenshot.

Hi, to add the ellipsis (...) you need to do it manually.

Here’s an example you can use as a template for your text:

A broad and effective coefficient of generating and developing<span class="ellipse">...</span><br /> ideas through a process that leads to new products.

You can also refer to this screenshot for guidance: Screenshot.

Let me know if you need further clarification!

Hello Team,

I am having difficulties to apply this feature on my theme: https://www.awesomescreenshot.com/video/35331258?key=3508f90160fc9f9fc0bbe2e6087253a1

I can’t get the 3 dots … feature on the text when I add text in this section on this square box. Could you please help? Thanks

Hi, basically you edit this using Elementor and add your content. I didn’t quite understand your question and didn’t fully grasp the video, sorry about that. Could you provide more details about the specific issue?

Hello Team, I can’t change the text and the functionality of the cookie Popup box where it says “accept terms”. The other one is editable. Thanks

Hi,

The popup box provided with the SHOCK theme is this one: https://shock.codings.dev/elements/element-popup-box.

To customize it with Elementor, simply go to Shock Theme > Global Sections and edit the item “Popup Box” using Elementor. You can read more about Global Sections here: https://shock.codings.dev/docs/global-sections.

If this answer is not sufficient, please provide a screenshot of your Popup Box so we can better understand the issue. Thank you! :)

https://www.imghippo.com/i/AGg1498sco.png https://www.imghippo.com/i/NOOz2631Xno.png There is only an option to edit one of the 2 options at the bottom. I can’t change the text or style of the one in the screenshot. Thanks

Hi, we are fixing this and will get back to you soon with a theme update. Thank you for reporting this.

Hi Team,

While trying to install the Shock Core Plugin an error of Download failed: forbidden.

thanks, Jebastin A

Hello,

It seems that your server has security restrictions preventing external requests. Please contact your web hosting support about this issue.

You can also install plugins manually by retrieving them from the /plugins folder. Learn more about the package you download from ThemeForest here: shock.codings.dev/docs/#section-4

How to Install Plugins Manually in WordPress:

  1. Download the Plugin ZIP File:
    • Extract the theme package downloaded from ThemeForest.
    • Locate the plugin ZIP files inside the /plugins folder.
  2. Upload the Plugin via WordPress Dashboard:
    • Go to Dashboard > Plugins > Add New.
    • Click Upload Plugin and Choose File.
    • Select the plugin ZIP file and click Install Now.
  3. Activate the Plugin:
    • After installation, click Activate Plugin.
  4. Upload via FTP (Alternative):
    • Extract the plugin ZIP file.
    • Connect to your server using an FTP client.
    • Upload the extracted plugin folder to /wp-content/plugins/.
    • Go to Dashboard > Plugins and activate the plugin.

Let me know if you need further assistance!

Dear Team,

I purchased this theme last year (2024) and used it on my website. After resetting the website, I tried reinstalling the theme, but the purchase code displayed the error: “Purchase code is already in use. Make sure you have not activated it on another website.”

Kindly reset the purchase code; I need to use it for my website.

Thanks, Jebastin A

Hi, I’ve reset your license. Before deleting or migrating a site, please remember to deactivate your license in the Shock Theme Dashboard.

-Documentation Issue: I’ve reviewed your documentation, but I’m encountering an issue where attempting to open specific sections results in a “Page Not Found” error. Could you assist with this? -Cursor Customization: I need help changing the cursor in the global section, as the option doesn’t appear. Additionally, there’s no feature to upload new cursor designs (e.g., PNG or SVG files). Lastly, there seems to be a conflict between the theme customization settings and Elementor customization. Could you provide guidance on resolving these issues?

Hi,

Thank you for reaching out to us! :)

  1. Where exactly are you seeing the “Page Not Found” error? The documentation URL seems to be working fine: https://shock.codings.dev/docs/widget-cursor

  2. To customize the cursor, simply go to Shock Theme > Global Sections and edit the cursor using Elementor. Please read this guide carefully to understand how it works: https://shock.codings.dev/docs/global-sections

  3. Unfortunately, there are currently no options to customize the cursor using PNG or SVG files. However, we’ll consider implementing this feature in a future update.

I hope this helps! Let us know if you have any further questions.

I’m trying to add custom fonts to the theme and would like the option to manage and update them directly through the Appearance settings. I’ve attempted to upload the fonts using a plugin and via the cPanel, but unfortunately, it didn’t work. Would you be able to assist with this?

How to Add Custom Fonts to the Shock Theme

  1. From the WordPress Dashboard:
    Go to Plugins > Add New and search for “Fonts Plugin”. Here’s the plugin link for reference: Olympus Google Fonts. Install and activate the plugin.
  2. Upload Your Fonts:
    In the WordPress menu, a new option called “Fonts Plugin” will appear. Navigate to Fonts Plugin > Upload Fonts, upload your font file, give it a name, and save it. You can upload as many fonts as you like.
  3. Customize Your Fonts:
    Go to Fonts Plugin > Customize Fonts > Basic Settings and select your uploaded fonts as desired.
  4. Add Custom CSS:
    In WordPress, go to Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS and add the following code:

    :root {
      --shock-primary-font: var(--font-base) !important;
      --shock-secondary-font: var(--font-headings) !important;
    }

By following these steps, your custom fonts should display correctly on your site. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out!
