Hi, wau Im totally in love with the theme, and consider buying it. so clean elegant, detail oriented
even in the video section, the video you chose to use as an example, love that too! great speech by seth godin, as always! there is only one thing missing: there is no “like” button on the individual blog posts. (its usually a little heart in the bottom left corner) I personally do not plan to have a comment section underneath my blogs, so a like button can mean a lot. is there one?
cheers
A
Hi,
Thank you very much for your lovely comment!
There is a nice plugin that would do the job – “I recommend this”.
https://wordpress.org/plugins/i-recommend-this/The heart / like button will be displayed by default at the bottom of the post. If you would like it to be displayed next to the social icons – share section, we could help you achieve it.
Let us know if you have any other doubts.

thats great news! thanks
Hi, lovely theme!
Is it possible to have the boxed layout a bit wider (closer to the edge)? Thanks
Hi,
Thanks for your feedback!
It will require a theme modification to have the boxed layout a bit wider.
Some minor customisations are included inside our support, but unfortunatelly this one is more advanced and it is not supported.
We have recently updated the theme to allow the users to add a fullwidth slider on top of the frontpage ( Revolution Slider for example).
Let us know if you have any other doubts.

How do I insert the demo content? I can’t find any information on this in your instructions
Hi Justine,
We have answered you through our support site.

how i can i use the free font that comes with the theme as a logo?
The theme includes a PSD file for the demo logo image. First step is to install the ”.otf” font file inside your computer. Once installed, you can edit the logo file “soigne-logo.psd” using Photoshop.
You can contact us through our support site, if you need help.

Hello! Would like to know how the slider and Featured Images (especially for Fullwidth posts) will look like if square images were used.
Will the photos be cropped to fit the slider and Featured Images, or will there be a blank space on the sides?
Hi,
The slider uses the featured image from a blog post (not page), it uses it as a background image so it will fit the container.
The optimal images for uploading are:
Full-width layout and slider: Image width should be at least 1014px;
Post or page with sidebar layout: Image width should be at least 657px;
For example, if your uploaded featured image is less than 1014px (haven chosen a fullwidth layout), it will be aligned to the left with a blank space on the right. (it can be centered with custom css, if preferred).
Let us know if you have any other doubt.
Thanks for your interest!

is there a way to make the category/archives pages use excerpts/summary instead of a full article? Thank you.
Hi,
There are four layouts for the category / archives that use the excerpt function.
Inside your Customizer / Layout settings / Archive layout / choose between “Grid post layout”, “Fullwidth grid layout”, “List post layout” and “Fullwidth list layout”.
Let us know if you have any other doubts.

thank you, that is perfect. I thought I had looked at these but apparently I had not looked closely enough.
Hello! I bought the theme and noticed that the homepage layout is different in the actual theme comparing to your demo side. I was interested in Post-List-Sidebar layout but your theme doesnt have this option. Most of theme options have full post layout although what i want is a summary of posts like on your demo. How do i set Post-List-Sidebar? Thank you
Hi Alina,
Inside the Customizer / Layout settings / Home layout -> select “Full post + List layout”.
You can contact us via our support site if you need help.

Hello, thank you. No. I do not want to show full posts. In your demo you have an option to show SummaryPost-List-Sidebar. I want to know how this is done. I got this theme because i liked this demo layout. My posts r too long and i definetely do not want to list them full length. I want just the summary. Thanks.
I have replied to you through our support site.

Hello! I’m very interested in this theme. I have 2 questions:
- Can Google Ads be placed into the theme?
- Is it possible to have the LIFESTYLE, ABOUT and CONTACT boxes on the demo home page be placed under the blog posts?
Hi,
1. It is definitely possible. You can add a “Text widget” to your sidebar area, with the banner code inside.
http://support.revolvethemes.com/article/12-widgets2. The featured boxes are available as well as a Widget, so you can place them on the sidebar area for example. Unfortunately it is not possible to add the boxes under the blog posts, since there’s no widget area ready for it.

Hi! I’m new to wordpress and am thinking of buying this theme. I was wondering, is there a way to display the full post on the main page? Instead of having just one image and some text with a read more button, I prefer to have all the content available on the homepage to minimize clicking and to make my blog more of a visual story (the images are the focus), rather than just trying to grab people with a headline and image?
Also, with the big image slideshow at the top of the page, can that be made into a full banner that goes across the whole width of the page? And/or: Can you set that image slideshow to have a pre determined set of say 4 pretty photographs, rather than having it feature content from blog posts? E.g. I want my site to have a certain feel when you are on the main page, with a few abstract images that you can’t click on, rather than content from the blog?
Hi,
Thanks for your interest and welcome to WordPress!
It is definitely possible to display full posts on the homepage, the “Read more” button is added manually on the default posts ( not grid or list posts), so you could display full posts.
http://support.revolvethemes.com/article/49-how-to-add-the-read-more-button-to-your-postWe are currently working on an update to give users the option of using alternative sliders (plugins) which are not related to posts. If you are interested in purchasing the theme, we could send you an email when the update is approved ( in the following 2-3 days), simply go to our support site and contact us.

Ok great I look forward to the slider update!
Also, I was wondering if it’s possible to make the post images cover the sides of the white border? Here is an example, if you scroll down to the ‘Standard Blog Layout’ preview you will see that the image has white above and below where the text is, but not on the sides? https://themeforest.net/item/salinger-personal-blog-portfolio-wordpress-theme/15410788
I hope that makes sense!

Thanks for your feedback!
We have just updated the theme with a new widget area, specific for adding a fullwidth slider. It is indeed possible to have the image similar to your example, by adding some custom CSS. We can provide the code if you’re interested.
Oh that’s amazing, awesome thanks! I just downloaded wordpress and am starting my website next week, from what I can tell the latest wordpress is 4.7, Soigne software is listed as version 4.7.x…. is this the same thing?
Yes, it works with the latest version of WordPress.
I love this theme! I just had two questions: 1. Regarding the Feature Section Boxes, when I put my curser over the box the outline turns gold but the words don’t. How do I solve this? 2. If I made the whole site background white is there a way to outline every section with a thin gold boxes?
Thank you in advance!
Hi,
Thanks for reaching out!
1. Featured boxes: You can change the colour of the border and text as well as the hover, inside the Customizer ( Colors / Color: Widgets ). If the text colour or border doesn’t change, it might be caused by a plugin or custom css. Can we take a look at your blog?
2. It is definitely possible to add a gold border around the sections, we can provide the custom CSS for it. Can you submit a ticket on our support site? http://support.revolvethemes.com

Hello! I need some help with my setting up my pages.
In the beginning I accidentally deleted the original ‘Contact’ & ‘About’ pages that the theme came with. So I’m trying to recreate them. The only thing I’m having trouble with is centering the pages. For some reason they’re always aligned left no matter what layout I choose for the site under ‘Customizer’ (I thought selecting a layout with no sidebar would make my pages centered, but it was unsuccessful). I tried searching on your revolve themes support, but no luck.
Thanks!
Hi,
You could recreate the “Contact” or “About” page using our shortcodes or reinstalling the demo content. http://support.revolvethemes.com/article/35-shortcodesThe layouts without a sidebar are always centered, the issue you are talking about may be caused by a plugin. Can we take a look at your blog? You can submit a ticket on our support site.

Ok I sent something on the contact tab of the support site. I would like you guys to have access to check and see what’s going on, thanks!
Update support ticket: The default template of the page comes with a sidebar (in case there’s no widgets on the sidebar, the sidebar will not display and the page will be aligned to the left). To display the widgets on the sidebar, simply click on “Add a widget” inside the Customizer / Widgets section.
If you want to display a “fullwidth” template when creating a page, simply select the “Fullwidth page” inside the “Template” dropdown, located on the right sidebar of the page.
Hi! I’m really looking to buy this theme. This only thing that’s bothering me is the boxed layout when reading an article. Is there any way to avoid the boxed layout ? But I still want the sidebar on the right! Thanks!
Hi,
Would you prefer the main background white? You can change the background colour inside the Customizer.

I would like to use this theme without the slider, boxes, and footer images. Are they widgets that I can just choose not to include? Also what plugins are required? Thanks!
Hi,
Thanks for reaching out!
Yes, it is possible to have the theme without these sections. They are options you can activate or deactivate inside your Customizer, as well as your Instagram feed (WP Instagram Widget).
http://support.revolvethemes.com/article/36-featured-section http://support.revolvethemes.com/article/12-widgetsWhen installing the theme we are recommending to install the following plugins:
• Contact Form 7,
• MailChimp for WordPress,
• Revolve Themes Popular Posts,
• Revolve Themes Shortcodes,
• WP Instagram Widget

Hello,
I am trying to the short code for 2 columns but if the left (first) column doesn’t have enough content, the second column starts immediately after rather than from the middle at 50%.
How do I adjust the theme such that the columns are always even regardless of the content inside of each column?

Have you installed and activated the recommended plugins for the theme?

I am thinking about purchasing. Is the script used for the title “Soigne” one of the text styles? If not can you tell me what it is if I buy this? I just might have to have it.
Hi,
Thanks for reaching out!
We are including the font used for the Soigné logo inside the theme pack. You can use it for your own logo, or for other purposes. However, this font is not included inside the “text styles” since it is not a webfont. The text styles are accomplished with our shortcodes. You can take a look at:

Is there a way to make this theme work with an ecommerce element?
We are not planning to integrate Woocommerce at the moment, however, the theme does work with the “Shopify Ecommerce plugin”. It would require some additional custom CSS to make it look the way to want it. If you have more doubts you can drop us a line on our support site.
http://support.revolvethemes.comBest regards, Revolve Themes
does it work with wordpress ecommerce plugins too?
Do you mean “WP eCommerce” plugin? Unfortunately, we haven’t tested the theme with this plugin. You could hire an Envato Studio freelancer, if you want to implement Woocommerce.

Hi, I met a problem. When I set up the theme. It looks so diffirent with the demo theme. Body’ s theme is skewed. It is not stay in center but left side. I guess that the reason of the problem is your theme is not fit with my host. I wish I can send you a picture to show you clearly. If it is no matter, can you give me your email, i will send you some picture or a video and then you can see and teach me how to fix it. Thank for your supporting.

http://support.revolvethemes.comwhy can I not translate this theme when I put a de_de.pot in the language folder?
Hi,
The theme already includes a .pot file, which contains all the translatable strings. To translate the theme to german, you will have to open the “soigne.pot” file with Poedit and save it as “de_DE.po”, inside your Language folder.
You can submit a ticket on our support site, and we’ll help you out.
