Kudos to the entire team at Spruko – for making this terrific template! Had a couple of queries, 1) Does this work on a server Ubuntu and Apache, with the CodeIgniter 4.0 or CodeIgniter 4.1 framework? 2) I understand this is only a CodeIgniter template, and I can connect any DB to the same, with some effort. Please confirm.
No, there is no existing database after purchase. You can develop functionality based on your requirements.
Thanks for your reply. Does this work with Ubuntu and Apache – with Code Igniter 4.0? Or does it require any other Windows based tools on the server too, e.g. XAMAPP?
Hello sketchymood, CodeIgniter is a PHP framework that is designed to work on various operating systems, including Windows, Ubuntu, and others. As long as you have a compatible web server (such as Apache) and a PHP installation, you should be able to run CodeIgniter on Ubuntu without any issues. XAMPP is not necessary, but it can be used as a convenient package that includes Apache, PHP, and other tools.
Thanks a lot for your detailed explanation – that helps a lot.
You are welcome.
Hi, can you confirm what I get for the CodeIgniter version that would be different to the HTML5 or Ajax version? Given that MVC makes CI front-end swappable with anything that’s HTML/Javascript, and CI (eg. form validation) happens server side in .php pages.
Hi, This is CodeIgniter UI Only.
can i use this theme like database for my clients only, as a backend for me?
