Hi I am trying to look at swag via safari. all it does is have a blank screen.

Hi your demo works great. I went back into themeforest to retry and it loaded successfully this time but when I scroll the up the demo in theme forest it it ‘shakes’ on the top of the page. your demo does not do that.I tried refreshing (control R) but that did not fix it. Hi I bought the theme, but when i create a page with a background parallax image, the image wont show? I have copied everything, the pre-made pages work with background images and i have copied those pages to a TEE and still not showing the background parallax image. I have also tried going onto the support forum but it wont recognise my purchase code from Envato?

Can we use ECWID in the home scroller effect? You can add standalone pages as well just like normal?

There are a few different intro options. The first one is the revolution slider. Not sure what you’re referring to with ecwid but i it can be added to the revolution slider it works with Swag. And yes, you create normal pages and then decide if they do or do not go on the homepage
need help installing, tried uploading via admin swag.zip inside wp-content folder file and i get the error are you sure you want to do this and a try again permalink. please help.

I am completely New to Wordpress, in fact haven’t even used it yet so I have no idea how tell by looking at the theme what is set in stone and what is customizable. Maybe the Swag theme developer or someone who has purchased the Swag can assist this noobe with some questions about what I can customize and what I can’t…
- Can I change Type Faces assigned to elements to something other than the default?
- Can I change Font Sizes assigned to elements to something other than the default?
- Can I change graphic elements used in the Navigation (orange star dividers to something else)?
- Can I change the color of the top bar with the logo in it, or any other background bar?
- Can I use my own page background texture?
- Can I turn off the shadow on the top bar?

Most of the answers to those question is “yes”. Swag is a very customizable theme. First check out the documentation that is included with the download, that will give you a better idea of how to use/edit everything. Every page/section can have it’s own background slider, image, parallax image, color, or pattern (a lot of patterns are included for you to choose from). A lot of settings (font’s colors, etc) are available at appearance > theme options. After you view the documentation and check out the theme options panel start a post on our support forum at http://support.beantowndesign.com and we’ll be happy to help you out
How can I have background slider like demo. Also, I get some white space between header menu and homepage slider when I add slider on homepage.

I am thinking of buying this theme, however there is a long loading time when loading, liable to put the customer off. We are talking about 10 seconds. Is this normal?
Also can you control the transition on the slider on the front page and choose which ones I prefer as some I do not like. Thanks

The loading time depends on your server, internet speed, how well you optimize the images, how much content you have, etc. Our demos have large images and a lot of content so we can show off all the features. We are currently working on some script updates to cut down on loading time..thanks
FYI, we just added options in version 1.1 to the theme options so you can disable scripts that you aren’t using for faster load time

That plugin should work fine. Swag is WooCommerce compatible and that plugin is an extension, allowing you to setup the bookings, so it just adds more fields to product pages, etc. And if you need any CSS tweaks we can help you with that on our support forum..thanks!

no problem. yes, each slide can be made of of different layers. you set the background image, and then add other layers of text, images, or video (youtube or vimeo) on top. and then you set the timing and animations for each layer.

The revolution slider allows youtube, vimeo or html5 (sound like that’s what you are looking for) video options

Just installed it with no other third part plug activated and with a fresh wp install and the theme seems to be bugged and says :
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘}’ in /homez.744/patissert/www/wp-content/themes/swag/settings.php on line 1

wow, it’s taking WAY too long to load on my computer. don’t have the patience to sit and watch the little circle load…
We were running into server issues, we are back up though, please clear your cache and refresh. Also keep in mind, we have every option showing on the homepage with large images to make sure the demo looks great, you might not have as many items, images, products, etc, and you can optimize you images as much as you want

*the parallax and background slideshow are options when you create a new page/section, so for each section you can add a background image, parallax image, pattern, color, or image slideshow

Yes a newsletter opt-in box would be a great addition to the features of SWAG! How about an author box for blog posts and a video background for the header? A few added features in the next update and there won’t be another one page parallax theme that can compare. I love this theme!
