Also, is there a way to make the email address in the subscription area go away or reset (or disappear) once the user clicks “Subscribe”. It takes them to a separate browser (or tab) and allows them to go back to the site. But if they X out of that new browser and go back to the previous one, it’s still there. If not, is there a way to make the Subscribe confirmation show up in the same browser or tab? That way they can do back to the site once the confirm the subscription?

I should change the error message. “Recaptcha Failed!” doesn’t mean the theme couldn’t check the reCAPTCHA, but it means reCAPTCHA detected a spam message. So it works fine.

Regards subscription, the form has to be submitted to MailChimp to complete the subscription form inside MailChimp website. If we remove the text before submission, an empty email field receives by MailChimp. And on return, there’s not any event or something to remove the text unless we check all inputs on page load which is not performance wise task. Also, it’s a default behavior of browsers, so we think it’s better to follow this standard.

As you might see in the code, you need to add data-toggle=”modal” and data-target=”#modal-id” to the button, but you can’t do that to the navbar button. So you have to create a button in Custom HTML block as well with those properties. To learn more about how to create and trigger modals, please read the documentation at https://getbootstrap.com/docs/4.3/components/modal/ . At the end of documentation is the guide on how to trigger a modal using JavaScript. That might be the other solution for you.

To make tryping text, you should write a comma-separated text in the editor. Using this option you can’t change the typing speed or change options. If you need them, you should write html code and use Custom HTML block. I don’t get your request properly. We don’t have any option to display modals in any of the WordPress versions. But since we’re using Bootstrap, you can use the modal component in your website if you know how to design and trigger them.

Seems that happens when the menu is already linked to a page. So clicking on the menu would result on opening a new page instead of opening the submenu. If you have such menus, a workaround is to collapse the menu on tablet devices too. You can make that happen from Layout > Navbar edit page. Simply click on your navbar block to see the block settings in your right side. Then, from “Expand on” settings pick Tablets or Phones.

Thanks – a little stuffing around with file permissions but we eventually got there. Feedback: The block itself in the theme says ‘Date Published’ not ‘Date Modified’. Personally, I think Date Published is a lot more useful – otherwise, if we just edit a typo in the article, it changes the date modified. I would change Block 6 in the next update to either (a) Date Published or (b) change the label in the block to make it clearer that its Date Modified to avoid this confusion.

You’re right. I’ll include this fix in the next release, so the display date is the published date.

That is because the “Phone” field name is “email”. Please change it to “phone” and it should be fine. Seems the name is “email” by default, I’ll change it from the theme as well. So the next update would include this fix.

The Contact-7 forms doesn’t have any grid layout. You might use the Columns block to create your desire layout and put the shortcode inside the grid you want it to display.

If the Columns block is not flexible enough, you might use a plugin such as https://wordpress.org/plugins/coblocks which is more flexible in creating layouts.

2. Have you set your “Google Map API Key” from Appearance > Customize > Site Configuration? If yes, please make sure you have valid payment card in your google account and the API key is still valid. Otherwise, you should set this value to use maps.

You can create a menu from Appearance > Menu. And you can create a navbar to assign to your page from Layout >Navbar.

To smooth scroll from a link to a section, you should have an ID in a section which can be added from Block Settings in the page builder (right side) and add insert #ID as URL of your link. So if your section ID is features, the url should be #features.
