There is a Wordpress version of this template? Thankx

Hello @xavierplaza,

Thank you for being interested in VSDocs. Unfortunately there isn’t a WordPress version of this template available on the market.

Kind regards

Hi, I have seen your product and I am very interested. It’s a pity that it optimizes and compiles in LESS instead of in SCSS. I would buy it right away, but it’s still good work!

Thank you @Andurilion for your kind words,

I’m highly overloaded lately, so unfortunately I won’t be upgrading to SCSS in the near future. While there are some handy LESS to SCSS convertors out there, I understand that it’s much pleasant when you have your lovely tools straight out of the box. I’m really sorry about that!

Sincerely,
Vlad Sargu

Hi,

nice template! I have some questions before buying:

1. is it possible to make main menu sticky?

2. in docs pages is it possible to choose version number of the code like “latest”, “2.5.0” etc? So users are able to browse olde docs if needed. Something like here: https://docbanao.bdtask.com/alerts.html

3. is there any styling of form elements like checkbox and dropdown? I can’t find it. We do need some kind of forms on our pages and I think it should be styled in the way like the rest of the page.

Thanks!

Thank you @Sharpus55 for contacting me and I’m sorry for my late reply!

Answering your questions: 1. You can find the sticky header variation here: http://themes.vsart.me/vsdocs/home-one-page-header-fixed.html 2. There’s a version picker in the footer (near the “back to top” button), hopefully this is what you are looking for: http://themes.vsart.me/vsdocs/

3. All existing form elements are presented on the contact page. Unfortunately, more advanced form elements like dropdowns and checkboxes are missing for now.

Please let me know if there’s anything else I can help you with.

Warm regards,
Vlad Sargu

Hi, thank you for the answer.

ad 1) cool, I thought it’s only working at the docs page not the presentation part.

ad 2) I’m aware that there is a version in the footer but I can see that only at the presentation part I would like to use something similar in docs part. I cannot post a picture here so please check my screenshot: https://www.dropbox.com/s/fk09i6zjyl1ymm5/dropdown-api-versions.png?dl=0 This is kinda important thing to have this option for api developers as users of this API can have different version in production etc.

ad 3) could you please style also dropdown and checkboxes? That would be awesome, this is really missing as we need some forms with dropdowns at now it will make pages look cheap (with unstyled forms).

Is it possible to add this into theme? I’m sure more users are looking for this. If you can add this, I buy immediatelly. I do need to prepare a new webpage for a software product with programator API docs and versions.

Looking forward to your reply.

Can i add sub menu in one page docs?

Yes, you just have to follow the structure – ul > li > ul > li. Although, they will not look differently compared to the other ones, you’ll have to add a line of CSS to indent them, like this:

.one-page-nav li li { padding-left: 2rem; }

Hope it helps!

Warm regards, Vlad Sargu

Nice! why are you not upgrading to bootstrap 4? it is really nice template for docs

Thank you!

Unfortunately this is not something planed in the near future. At this time there are other crucial priorities.

I’m really sorry.

Basically decided not to purchase this as it hasn’t received updates in about 3 years, and author has expressed zero interest in updating this template. Going to look for something a bit more up-to-date.

Hello Vlad, great job you’ve done with this template.

I’m currently working on integrating it on my site and I wonder if it’s possible to see an update using Font Awesome 5 and/or Bootstrap 4.

Best regards, Alejandro.

Nice to meet you Alejandro.

Thank you for contacting me. I’m really sorry to announce you, but unfortunately I’m not planning to update it to Bootstrap 4 in the near future.

Most likely I’m going to start developing new templates on Bootstrap 5 from scratch.

Thanks again for contacting me and sorry for bringing you bad news.

Sincerely,
Vlad

Well, It’s a pity then, and regarding to Font Awesome I had to tweak the CSS and JS code to make it work with the new version, I need some of the new icons in there, though I’m not totally sure I haven’t break anything else in the process, I reckon that it shouldn’t be a a hard upgrade to do.

Really interested in this theme. Do you foresee any issues converting this into an angularJS template? Referring to 3rd party plug-ins, etc.

Thanks!

Thank you for contacting me.

Unfortunately I don’t have any experience working with AngularJS, but what do I know is that VSDocs’ structure is pretty close and similar to Bootstrap’s one, so if know that converting Bootstrap into an Angular template shouldn’t bring you difficulties, then VSDocs shouldn’t either.

Honestly hope my answer helped.

Warm regards,
Vlad Sargu

Hi! Really awesome code) Could you please recommend some appropriate User dashboard template? Thank you in advance.

Thank you very much @belovolk for your kind words.

Unfortunately I haven’t used any dashboard templates, but TheAdmin seems to have a pretty good reputation, so you may take a look into it.

Hopefully it helps,
Vlad Sargu

Thank you! Bought)

Please check into this bug, when you add change of language on articles.html template https://postimg.org/image/fnt4stmr9/

Awesome, thank you @damirg for the report.

Warm regards,
Vlad Sargu

One more thing.

In the gulpfile.js for task scriptsMin there is a typo.

gulp.task('scriptsMin', function () {
    console.log(scriptOrder);

Should be:

console.log(scriptsOrder); // scripts and not script

And then there is one issue that I can’t fix when execute gulp prod task.

$ gulp prod
[16:48:59] Starting 'less'...
[16:48:59] Starting 'scriptsMin'...
[ 'default/js/dev/libs/*',
  'default/js/dev/libs/plugins/*.js',
  'default/js/dev/modules.js' ]

events.js:160
      throw er; // Unhandled 'error' event
      ^
Error: Broken @import declaration of "http://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Roboto:500,900,100,300,700,400&subset=latin,cyrillic-ext,cyrillic,latin-ext" - timeout

but work fine when I execute gulp less

And if I remove from config.less the import of google fonts, then it’s always included. Seem that gulp less don’t create style.css at all.

Nice to meet you again @damirg.

In order to fix that please add the following config options to the “less” task. Also please consider that once the “less” task has finished the “style.min.css” is updated, not the “style.css”.

Honestly hope it helps.

Warm regards,
Vlad Sargu

Hello vsart,

Your vsdocs theme has a screenshot on index-2.html of some sort of chat application called HiChat. The filename is img/demos/screens/7.jpg Is this a HTML theme? Then I would like to purchase it. I searched everywhere but I can find it.

Additionally, I like 9.jpg too (which also seems to be a chat application) so I would also like to know if this is a HTML theme that I can buy somewhere.

Thanks!

Hello @jochemstoel,

Thank you for contacting me. This is actually a freebie I got from Dribbble.com. Then it was just a PSD mockup, however you may try asking the author if he started an HTML conversion. The 9.jpg is actually the same mockup, so I would recommend talking to the author.

Honestly hope it helps.

Warm regards,
Vlad Sargu

Fantastic work! My entire workflow is in SASS. If a LESS to SASS conversion is in the pipeline I will be purchasing.

Thank you @bradzupancic for contacting me and for your kind words.

I’m honestly sorry for my late answer, unfortunately I don’t have any plans to move VSDocs on SASS in the near future. The only thing that my be considered is the Gulp Less to Sass convertor, but of course it is not perfect and it may fail converting some files.

I’m really sorry for not being able to offer you a good solution.

Sincerely,
Vlad Sargu

Is it possible to get SASS instead of LESS?

Dear @caston,

Thank you for contacting me. Unfortunately I don’t have plans on that, however I may consider using this plugin. It’s not perfect, you still have to make some manual fixes, but that’s more than nothing.

Honestly hope it helps.

Wish you a wonderful day and don’t forget to SMILE :)

Sincerely,
Vlad Sargu

Hello. I have noticed an issue. If I have, let`s say 2 columns for the blog and one article title is on 2 lines of text, the others on just one line. The layout will get messed up, I guess because there is no consistency on sections height?

Do you have a fix for that?

Thanks

Hello @WWPixels,

Thank you for contacting me. I’d be glad to help you, but unfortunately I’m not sure I understand that particular case you described. Can you please reproduce that and send me a demo link? That would be really helpful.

Thank you very much.

Sincerely,
Vlad Sargu

Figured it out:

I forgot to add a div with class row after each 2 columns.

Thanks.

Glad to hear.

Wish you tones of luck with your project!

Sincerely,
Vlad Sargu

very nice work, exactly what i need but in RTL :< any chance to make it rtl ? thanks.

Dear @hichemdz,

Thank you for contacting us and for your kind words.

I’m honestly sorry, but unfortunately we are not planning to develop the RTL version of the site since updating all the elements in VSDocs will take a bunch of time and considering that after 400 sales this was the first time someone asked for it, it will be fair to leave the customer make it RTL himself only for the elements he needs, as he is not going to use all of them for sure, also considering that VSDocs has a highly organized code and structure this shouldn’t be a big deal.

Thank you four your understanding.

Wish you a wonderful day,

Sincerely,
Vlad Sargu

Hi there,

Thanks for the awesome work! After purchased the theme, I noticed that its labeled as ISC license in package.json file, is it alright ?

Dear wakegs,

Thank you for contacting us. VSDocs is covered by Envato Standard licenses, so please ignore the license provided within the package.json file, it was auto generated and we just didn’t change it.

By the way, thank you for your kind words and for your 5 star rating, it is highly appreciated.

Wish you a wonderful day and of course don’t forget to SMILE :)

Sincerely,
Vlad Sargu

Hi – are PSDs available after purchase?

Dear fifthandmissing,

Thank you for contacting us. Unfortunately we don’t provide the PSD files after purchase.

Thank you for your understanding.

Warm regards,
Vlad Sargu

Hello, Thank you for great thema.

Can you tell me pleas wich font you use for the logo-text?

Thank you Regards, Mac

Dear Mac,

Thank you for contacting us. For the logo-text we’ve used the Roboto font from Google Fonts.

Honestly hope it helps.

Wish you a wonderful day and of course don’t forget to SMILE :)

Sincerely,
Vlad Sargu

thank you have a nice day

You are very welcome.

Wish you tones of luck with your project.

Warm regards,
Vlad Sargu

I love this theme. I wish you had more like these.

Thank you so much Blaxus. Your kind words are highly appreciated.

Can you please clarify what specifically do you like in VSDocs? The code structure or theme’s topic mostly?

Thank you for your support.

Sincerely,
Vlad Sargu

Well I like the code structure, especially the complete pages because your code flexibility allows you to use the entire theme as a UI kit. I originally used Creative Tim’s Get Shit Done Pro. And VSDocs blows it out of the water by a high margin. And has a more favorable price as well.

As a non-designer and PHP developer I found most of my sites looked awful, and other themes are too limiting. Having such a complete kit helps incredibly. It’s worth the price to pay a little more for a complete website experience. It saves me a lot of time trying to make a structure that fits with a theme. With a complete blog page, 90% of the work is already done.

I also don’t have to worry about footers, headers, navs or any of that stuff. I can mostly just focus on functionality and content.

Dear Blaxus,

I just can’t thank you enough for your support. I honestly do my best to provide premium quality products and there’s no more pleasure than knowing that all the time you’ve invested in one product was really helpful for someone else.

Please feel free to contact me if you have some suggestions and I’ll do my best to implement them in the future products.

Wish you a wonderful day and of course don’t forget to SMILE :)

Warm regards,
Vlad Sargu

Hello,

I have been using the theme for my theme documentation. I have found a bug with the code copy to clipboard feature.

The copy to clipboard add ‘pre’ and ‘code’ tags when copying. This was visible when I tried to copy a text into the WordPress editor. To solve this, I have used the following code sample modifying the relevant code in modules.js

var clipboard = new Clipboard('.js-copy-to-clipboard', {
            // Here the text has to be text and not target and the selected content has to be text
            text: function (trigger) {
                return $(trigger).parent().find('.js-code').first().text();
            }
        });

Also the code block is not wrapping text for large blocks. You need to change the CSS property for the same

code[class*="language-"], pre[class*="language-"]{
  white-space: pre-wrap;
}

Hello Graphicous,

Thank you for reporting. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to reproduce your issue. Here’s the paste code from this code highlight section on our demo page, using the copy button and it looks like it copied the right part, without junk. Please make sure you are using the exact same HTML structure as presented in the theme.

Concerning the “wrapping text”, actually this was a decision we took, not to wrap it as usually when the code is wrapped inside the browser it becomes very messy and unreadable. While the unwrapped text with the scrollbar keeps the code clean and readable. So in conclusion if in your case you’d prefer the code to be wrapped, then we’d highly recommend using this solution, however we’ll keep the default behavior of VSDocs’ code highlight as unwrapped.

Thank you so much for your support.

Please let me know if I can farther assist you.

Warm regards,
Vlad Sargu

This is a great theme! However, one thing I would really like is to have a data table as well. Is that possible to add to this theme?

Hi there,

Thank you for contacting us. Could you please provide an example of how it should look like and if we don’t have something similar already integrated in VSDocs we’ll add it for your.

Thank you,
Vlad Sargu
