You can use bootstrap multiple select as we are using all bootstrap components.

Should have fixed this myself, removed the part from html part and deleted the paddings from CSS file. Is there a better approach or this is the correct way?

Yes, this is bootstrap template ,you can remove section which you don’t want and manage paddings
