Hi, Since the latest Wordpress update 3.5.5, I get a critical error on the website. It points to windfall-core as the issue. I can see its not been updated for a few months so just a heads up!
Can you please share screenshot so we can see that is the error.
Thanks for your quick reply. It’s my fault! I didn’t realise the wincore plugin wasn’t automatically updated with envato market plugin. I’ve just followed the steps to update and its working fine now.

You extracted the theme file and uploaded it manually from FTP? It is a hidden file that is automatically added from Mac, which is called ”.DS_Store”.
Please make sure to upload the latest file form themeforest.
For the 1st screenshot: It mainly occurs when a temporary Mac file is there, in the public directory or inside the theme. Kindly check if there is any file that was created from macOS.
For the 2nd screenshot: Kindly install Elementor plugins, that code will be gone.

It is due to server file access issue, you can do manual import process from the same screen. Appearance > Install demos > Manual Import. [OR] You can upload .xml file at: Tools > Import > WordPress.

We’ve 15+ CSS files & 20+ JS files. But it doesn’t matter. Which ever files load on a particular page really depends on which elements/sections you’re using on that page.

Hi, I just installed the theme, plugins, and activate the demo. However, the Theme Settings is not showing like you have in your documentation – it’s showing a broken list of settings that won’t allow me to use them. Please help.
Windfall Core version is 1.4 — I tried reinstalling Codestar Framework — My theme version is 1.4.1 — I installed Envato Market
None of these fixed the issue?

I see you’ve installed the windfall theme via FTP or cPanel. If so, the file and folder permission causes this issue.
Try to install the Windfall theme in WordPress’s native way.
Appearance > Themes > Add New > Upload & Activate.

Hi, actually I did install the Windfall theme via WordPress Appearance > Themes settings. I did not install via FTP or cPanel.

Make sure your Settings > General site URL is with https
If not, change and save it.

Sorry it is not straightforward on Envato elements finding the version. I did find in the index.php of the Windfall Core Plugin that the version currently on Envato Elements is 1.3 – have no idea how to find the version of the theme but I assume it is also 1.3
I redownloaded from the envato elements to check. It has a 1.4 version.
