Theme is great, but hard to update to more recent versions. My website went down due to a lack of a decent update functionality.

Please submit a ticket at our support site - http://boldthemes.ticksy.com/ and leave ftp and wp-admin credentials and our support team will be glad to take a closer look at the issue.
Apart from updating the theme manually, via ftp (as described in the theme documentation - https://documentation.bold-themes.com/fast-food/theme-customization/#theme-update section 11, update theme) you can also use the Envato market plugin - it allows you to update the themes from ThemeForest right from your wp-admin dashboard - https://www.envato.com/lp/market-plugin/
