This is a mess. Read the reviews, NOT the ratings. There is no way those are people who are really using this template. Looks like paid reviewers....
Support takes 7 days or more to reply and they just blame Sportspress or you.
This is a garbage theme with little customization outside of Sportspress. You cant change colors, text, elements, etc. WPBakery support even craps on this template saying they get complaints about it as well.

Therefore, I kindly request that you ensure the theme is installed on a completely fresh and properly configured WordPress site with appropriate server limits.
Moreover, note that the color issue could be that the server is not generating the needed styles, you need to check it from the server side, and make sure that CSS generator works correctly and make sure that files and folders permissions are increased
