Arkanoid Web Designs
Buckinghamshire based Web Developer and Licensing Consultant
With a background in pictures and images. After a short time studying Graphic Design in the early 90’s, I took a picture that convinced me Photography was something I could do. Hence I enrolled at Bournville Art College near Birmingham and later attended Brighton University, to learn how to take pictures professionally.
After completing my education I assisted local Brighton based photographers, until I landed my first job in the Picture Industry, working for an agency in London, “Retna Pictures.” This was when digital photography was very much in its infancy and agencies still supplied clients with transparencies and prints.
In 2003 I moved to Sydney, Australia and worked for a boutique Photo Agency, “Headpress,” which specialised in Celebrity Portraiture.
After returning to the UK in 2006, I joined “Mirrorpix,” the Syndication arm of Mirror Group Newspapers. I represented The Daily Mirror, Sunday Mirror and the group’s regional newspaper titles, before joining News International, now “News UK,” where I represented The Times, Sunday Times and The Sun.
Website Development gives me the unique opportunity of combining all my professional skills, utilizing them in creative, exciting ways. The internet and website development is a fun, growing industry that I can both learn from and contribute to. My aim is to continue developing Arkanoid Web Designs creating better websites for each and every client. I also plan to design a website for every Record Label and singer I’ve ever loved.
Now wouldn’t that be something?!?
