Hi! I’m Daniel Ascot, a music producer from Finland. I’ve had a burning desire for music since I was a child.
I was born into a family with big interest in music and because of that I was introduced to the magic of music at a very young age. Thanks to my father, Yamaha DX7, Roland D50, Korg M1 and Roland Juno 1 where some of the legendary synthesizers I came in contact with at a young age along with some great guitars and other musical instruments. This combined with my older brothers interest in electronic music and his interest in bands/artists like Kraftwerk, Jean-Michel Jarre, Vangelis and many others set me in the direction for music production. My brother introduced me to music production using computers and synthesizers. I arranged my first drum loop on a Commodore 64 computer and I still remember the satisfaction and joy I felt from doing that.
As a teenager I worked hard so that I could buy my first very own synthesizer, the Yamaha CS1x. Soon I had my room filled with synthesizers, sound modules, midi-interfaces, computers and a lot of other equipment. I also found a lot of interest in guitars and I played keyboards in two cover bands. Eventually I also found my way into DJing.
Music is truly my passion and that passion has just grown bigger through the years.
Today I’m producing music on a completely different setup. You can find my music on Beatport, iTunes, Spotify etc. I’m very excited about what the future holds for me.
