Otto Cate is an artist, performer, producer, songwriter, programmer, and remixer who began in the electronic scene in the late 80’s. Otto, who studied under Colorado Symphony percussionist Ted Small, has been spearheading independent projects in the Electronic, Industrial and Metal genres throughout his career. Since his initial audio experiments in a small basement studio, his vision has grown progressively stronger and more complex.

Otto has released and been involved with several remixes over the years of well known artists such as Amethystium, Atlas Plug, Celldweller, Contingence, and Pitchshifter.

Otto is a Creative Director at Damage Vault, a trans-media entity formed alongside Kevin Riepl (Gears of War/Crackdown 2), and Heavyocity Media (Evolve/Evolve Mutations product line) – Damage Vault provides innovative, cutting edge sound design and music composition designed for use throughout the Film/TV/Video Game industries.

This site on Audio Jungle serves as Otto’s creative outlet to the community for a variety of audio experimentations, and a means by wish to unleash music and sound design that has never seen the light of day – in the hope that it may compliment a fellow artist’s production.
