Hi, seems you didn’t add mentas section and row, look at the code below which was generated by shortcode. Need to use mentas section shortcode to add this kind of content.

That’s too bad. The whole reason I purchased this theme was to have a video play and stop at the end of the video. Now I have a theme I have no use for as I am going to have to find one that suits my needs.

In wp-content/themes/mental/includes/shortcodes/helpers.php file is line <video autoplay=”autoplay” loop=”loop” muted=”muted” width=”960” height=”544”> , when you change loop=”false” it shouldn’t to loop, or if you remove loop=”loop”. But for some reason it still loop. We will look in this issue deeply

Hi Opencirrus, and thank you for purchasing Mentas theme. Have you tried to change colors from theme settings/skins? If it is not enough you can enter custom css to override anything you need in theme settings/skins custom css box.
Thanks, yes I have tried this, but I have to share the same setting ‘Secondary Colour’ between the top menu (which is white background) and menu bar (which is dark background) – I need control over the text in the menu bar alone and currently I cannot find the CSS for this. Can you help ID the correct one please.

Greetings, I am a new user of the Mentas theme. I have been doing my best to customize the gallery posts as much as i can, but I have run into a bit of a snag. I am attempting to format my gallery so that all the thumbs are a consistent cropped size version of the art, then when you open a gallery page you see the full size illustration or video. The only way I have figured out to do this, is by inserting a wordpress image gallery into the gallery post (because that seems like the only way to get an image to appear in the proper spot if I dont want the featured image to be the same image displayed in the gallery post). However, when I only want one single image to be displayed in the gallery, it still overlays a navigation arrow on the left and right side of the main image. When you click either arrow, they do nothing, because there are no other images in that gallery. Do you know of a way for me to be able to remove the overlay arrows? Also, do you know if a way to actually display a thumbnail based image gallery within a gallery post? Thanks in advance. If you want to use only one image, just enter that image as featured image in gallery post. You entered this image in description field as gallery, you hadn’t to do it. You should add gallery in description field only if you need more than one image.

Thank you…however, when I enter the image into the “featured Image”, it displays the full image instead of the cropped thumbnail I created on the home page. How can I make it so that all of my thumbnails are smaller consistently sized cropped versions of the actual image i want to feature in the post?
it is not original , it is converted to thumb in 700px width. Because the same thumb is displayed when you expand it. 700px is taken as an optimal width for all devices.
The thing is…I made a thumbnail size for the video projects which I want to keep consistent. I also do not want to display the entire drawing on the home page, I only want to display a customized cropped thumbnail of the drawing.
When ever I plug the drawing into the featured image location, it shows the entire image on the home page. I only want to show a small portion of the image on the homepage. Thanks again for your help.
This is how it works. You have free rights to modify this theme in the way you want.

there is. You can upload one as featured image another one you can upload in description field as single image
I did do that as well, but for some reason…it still placed the thumbnail from the “featured Image” as a very large image on top part of the page, then underneath the huge “featured image” in the description area it placed a much smaller version of the full image.

You can simply add image to page as regular it is done in wordpress and link that image to a page where gallery category is

Hi that’s easy. Just create a page, put there mentas gallery shortcode, then go to Settings/Reading from left menu, and choose home page
But on that page that I put in the category shorcode, if I want to just display a picture of each gallery? we can say that is a gallery of galleries.

You can put this piece of css code in theme settings/skins custom css box. This will affect on slider’s font size. Change font-size value to what you need.

Hi! I’m new to wp and i bought your theme. I have some questions: 1) i created a gallery page but when i am uploading pics the thumbnails only show a part of the pic. when i click on them on the webpage the full pic shows fine.

Hello Radu. 1) You can manually crop image thumbnails as your wish. 2) Add css code to custom css in theme config.
Hi, the following page has accordion panel with fade in animation on the first two of the three columns. I can view all three columns fine on my macbook and iPhone, but the text / background / buttons of the first two columns cannot be viewed on iPads (checked with two different iPads). hi, how to change “read more” text in gallery preview?
http://petalidancecrew.areademo.net/video/there is mental.pot file in wp-content/themes/mental/languages directory. If you open that file with any text editor you would find many strings used on the theme, and “read more” too. You can change that word to whatever you want, this would affect.
Also you can download and install this plugin which allow you inline translation of pot file https://wordpress.org/plugins/loco-translate/

My Homepage contains all the gallary post, and I have entered the post according to the filters,so when I click on any filter it displays no images only the ones i can see in the all filter.
The moment I load more images in the all filter, only those which get loaded there first can be visible in their respective filters. I have a lot of images to load.

It is how this gallery works. Filters display filter images by loaded images. Only those images are shown under filters which have been loaded all. If you have big gallery of images and don’t want to display all at once on home page, I’d recommed you create pages, and insert there gallery categories. Then inside each category split to filters.

Hi, what is cache and CSS / JS Minify are you use? Please disable CSS/JS Minify function and try to check slider in the post.

Hi Joel-22, map is shown as default with giving abiity to control zoom. There is not option in shortcode to enter zoom value. However you can modify it thru code, if you have some knowledges in wordpres and how to work with child theme.

Hi Joell-22, open file /includes/shortcodes/html_shortcodes.php there approx in line 567 you would see a line zoom: 12, replace 12 to lower number. As lower as closer. That’s it
We will add this option for upcoming version
zoom in and out button would be nice too
by the way: as higher as closer. 15 works fine for me.
