the problem with chrome is greater than expressed above … the first time the page flip works, then it become a simple fade, then pages no longer change …

There is no such text in the theme. It’s caused from a plugin. The theme doesn’t write any<meta> og: properties

Hi, Very nice concept theme. One question tho: I’m having trouble with the page flipper on the “read the book” window, while browsing the theme demo on chrome. Is that a known issue? Are you going to fix it?

When flipping pages, (of which there are 2 in the demo) the forward/backward arrows bug out. sometimes they work correctly, but most of the times (after refreshing of course), when clicking forward, the second page appears (no animation) and the back arrow remains hidden, while the forward arrow remains visible, but not doing anything anymore. Happens only on chrome. Checked firefox and safari, and there it works correctly.

Just opening the demo page, clicking on the “read the book” CTA and then on the back/forward arrows, after the 1st/2nd click the arrows don’t function correctly anymore.
Still everything is okay. We’ve never had someone complain about such problem. Tha version of Chrome are you using?

Can you click Read Bok, and after that F12 and go to the Console (the last) tab. Start clicking until the bug is there and tell us if you see any errors in the Console tab? Thank you!
nothing! the console doesnt give out any errors. After opening the page I got an error by the adblocker but after shutting it off, the error disappeared but the page-flip error persisted. I really don’t what causes it!

Hey, thanks for taking care of the bug, but sadly it’s still there! Something has changed actually, the back arrow appears after a few seconds but the page doesn’t flip back.
Sorry for bothering you again, but this is kind of necessary as the problem seems to be only on some systems.Can you check again?
I’m sorry but now the back button doesn’t even appear anymore, it’s just like before. (the flip animation doesn’t run aswell, maybe it has to do with a crash there?)

Hello, so far the theme is working really well and is VERY easy to use. So thank you for that. However, I am trying to set the image for the front page. I have added my media to the library and copied the URL. When I click to insert the image the field where I am supposed to paste the URL is grayed out and doesn’t allow me to enter the URL. The other fields are white and I am able to input into them but not the URL field.
Thanks for the nice words! Remove that section and add it again. An Upload Image button will appear.

Hi, the theme only supports images in the top header.
I have added two books in the downloads section. The landing pages have been setup separately. I have added the book chapters for both the books and selected the appropriate book in “Chapter Belongs to” option.
Now the read button has the id field set to appropriate book, but when we click on the read button for either of the book all the book chapters are shown, no matter what book.
Am I doing something wrong here? I hope multiple books are supported now.

One of the reason I purchased the book theme was I wanted to create it quickly just like you had it in the demo. It was disappointing to see that you don’t have demo data with the theme. Could you please provide demo content for those of us who wish to just take your that look and feel of your site and customize it to our liking, it will make it much faster to get the theme up as opposed to starting from scratch.

If I understand the theme correctly and judging from the preview I can put pretty much any content I want on a book page. Is that correct? I’d like to put a couple of NexGEN galleries or albums on book pages. Will they flip just like any other book page content? Alternativly I could just do an archive page.
Also, is there a straightforward way to display more than three blog entries on the home page as shown in the demo?

Hi, yes you can add images. The content of the pages is filled just like normal blog post and you can use images.
For now it’s not possible to display more than 3 blog posts. This is a planned feature in a future relase

no, the whole demo is not working. i click on live preview, a new tab opens, the header bar appears, but the rest stays blank and then a loading error occurs.
It seems a redirect issue from themeforest to the demo server. that’s not connected with the theme..

If you have multiple books, you just insert Buy button shortcodes with different book id attributes.

This error is not connected to the server or theme, there is something in your local condiguration. Thanks for the understanding.

You can easy change them, you can open the file in novela-theme/sections/section-contact.php and change them easily there. Doing this in the child theme is recommended.
Copy the sections directory in the child theme and make your changes there.
I created a dropdown menu with a link with URL equals to ’#’ but I have only home in the sidebar. What can I do to have all sections from the first page? Thank you!
Just add all of them manually as a link and assign to all of them the section ID with #.

The front page is on sections. You have a collection of all the sections seen on the demo and you insert them. You can insert two author sections one after another

Hi, yes the theme includes multiple options per product option. This way you can add as much editions as you want.
Please bear in mind that the theme is originally created for digital downloads (It’s a winner in the https://easydigitaldownloads.com/ plugin contest) so there is no shipping field included.

The theme is created for Easy Digital Downloads. If you want if have the knowledge, you can implement WooCommerce or you can as a freelancer to do it. It should be no problem.
