Currently we do not have one, and do not add extra design style. We are however planning this in the future and will work with Woo on it. For now, it will work but will be their basic styling. We will however support any issue that arises to ensure the plugin works with Avada.

You can disable the sliding bar in theme options > sliding bar. Then if you want to add content to it, you go to the widget section of your admin and look for the “Sliding Bar Widget Areas”, there can be 1-6 columns i it.

If the changes you are making are not showing live on your site, then it has to be cache of some kind.

First check theme options > advacned at the bottom to see if the LESS Compiler is turned on. If it is, turn it off to see if that makes your changes live. If it does not, please turn off any cache plugin you have on, and also clear your browser cache.

Thanks for the comments! That is actually how header transparency will work, when set to 0, it will fully remove the header higher and allow the content below it to push up behind it, it is best used with a large image or slider behind it, like here: http://theme-fusion.com/avada/home-version-1/

Hmm for the body background that is not setup to show that. You could place the same image in the header background that you use in the body, but if its an image with specific content (like a landscape) then it will not line up perfectly. But that method will work if its a pattern or blurred image of some kind.

Currently though the header set to 0 transparency will not show the body background image behind it, that configuration would take some custom code edits.

I’ll discuss this with our dev team to see if we can somehow make this an option with our current setup, I can see how useful that would be.

I’m sorry for the frustration. But please do understand that we would never waste time and say the login did not work or the site is slow if it was not. All that does is waste yours and our time. Hassan definitely experienced that when he was checking your ticket.

In addition your account has a few other tickets that our team has replied to in detail in the past. None of which showed the problem that Hassan had. And in one ticket (#21511 sent in on May 27th), our team supplied you with several lines of custom CSS. That should help show the level of service we offer and how much we try to do for each customer.

Our team is looking into this now, and please also check out my reply from the other day in these comments about using a cache plugin, you can minify those files with that and it speeds up the site a lot.

You could use custom css, that is fine. But you could also use the imageframe shortcode, it allows you to add a border/frame and also have a small image open into a large image via lightbox. That will do the trick also.

I tried that first but I need the small image to be different to the large image.

Yes you can do that with image frame, but you need to be on the latest version 3.8.4, see this: http://d.pr/i/K8gJ

Then the layer slider will not load until it’s 500px from the top of the viewport. I’m not an expert at this kind of stuff so it’s just a thought. I think I’m savvy enough to work a custom solution into my site, but it would definitely be nice to have this in later versions of Avada. Thanks.”

Hmm very interesting, let me make a note of this and discuss it with our dev team. Our policy is to not make changes to the core files of plugins that we include, like layer or rev slider. But we can talk with Kreatura to see if they can add this to the core, then we can modify our shortcode to allow that.

I’m sorry that you’re having trouble installing Avada theme. I’m not sure why your host had to “restart” everything. Which hosting were you using?

I can assure you that we have tried Avada on every low cost hosting including godaddy and bluehost and it can’t get much worse than that. It works correctly and can even load demo data without any issues.

Since my wordpress login wasnt working i had to fix it in my cpanel. They were able to find some of the crashed files but not all and it was still were not able to access the wordpress login page. My web hosting is gator host. I sent in a ticket request but I have no ticket number…

Our team is checking it out and will reply. One thing to note, the warnings you posted in your ticket are not from Avada, they are from the default WP themes. You may have a bad installation of WordPress itself. That is definitely not normal.

1) yes it can have both. 2) yes per options 3) yes you can. 4) can be oth per option. For the copyright part an image would need custom css. 5) They are a grid by themselves. Woocommerce filters, like price range etc. can be added in a sidebar. 6) There is no dedicated option for this at that point, but that is easy CSS. 7) Nope the flipbox effect only orks on the flip box shortcode. 8 The rollover itself can have any color and also tranyparency. There are also a lot of options on what will be shown on the rollover and also for the buttons on it. And there are several different rollover animation effects. And rollovers can also be completely disabled. Another hover image is not an option at the moment. 9) Those strings are in the php files for translation reasons. You can use a child theme to easily change them. 10) You can add any skills you like, as it is a custom taxonomy. 11) Yes there are a lot of options for bg colors. 12) yes you can set page bg color and leave all other sections transparent. 13) That option is sitewide 14) Everything you see in the demo will natively work. Of course needed plugins, like woocommerce need to be installed 15) That is the pics themselves. So this will just depend on the images you use. 16) That is the images themselves. 17) Those are pics. 18) Both use the Avada framework, so are capable of everything Avada offers. The main difference is that we offer you different Starting points for your own development, meaning you get a lot of design ideas and pre built pages and option settings to make the working experience smooth for you.

You can change the top and bottom margin of the logo to increase the header height. You can also increase the menu height. And you have separate options to control header bottom and top padding, which also lets you increase its height. All of those options can be found in their respective tab in Theme Options.

In the slidingbar tab in Theme Options you can choose to add a horizontal line, that goes across all browser window, which makes the bar more noticable. And you can also set it there to be open on page load.
