It shouldn’t be more than a couple of minutes depending on your server speed. However, in this case it seems that you’ve run into a server issue.

1. Run this plugin to revert your WP installation to its original state – https://wordpress.org/plugins/wordpress-reset/

Note: This will delete all content from your site.

2. Navigate to WP Admin -> Appearance -> Themes and activate Capri

3. Disable all plugins you might have installed under WP Admin -> Plugins but WooCoomerce (if you plan to import shop demo files, if not disable this plugin as well )

4. Double check that in WP Admin -> Settings -> Media you have selected default Media folder

5.Increase post_max _size to 64M and max_execution_time to 300 in your php.ini file. Increase PHP memory limit.

You can perform these server configuration modifications yourself or contact your hosting service provider to adjust this on your behalf. Try to import demo content again.

This message means that import files are larger than the maximum file upload size allowed on your server. Please increase that limit by contacting your hosting provider to perform this adjustment on your behalf or try to do it yourself as described in this article. We recommend setting Max Upload Size to 35M or higher. An alternative way to solve this would be to install theme by uploading files manually via FTP.

These Social Icons are located inside a widget area in WP Admin -> Appearance -> Widgets and set as the contents of a Text Widget. Besides adding a default widget into one of the widget areas you can use Visual Composer shortcodes – e.g. Social Icons.

To a add shortcode to a widget area you should go to Pages -> Add New and create a ‘test page’ you’ll use to create your widget content.

Click on Backend editor button (if it isn’t already enabled by default) and Add New Element.

Choose any shortcode you’d like, fill in the content and styling options and save changes.

Click on Classic mode to switch back to WordPress classic editor. This will allow you to see raw shortcodes. Select the shortcode, copy it.

Navigate to Appearance -> Widgets. Add a Text widget to the desired Widget Area and paste the shortcode. Save changes and refresh your site.

Has anyone looked please? I have had the Plugin people check it out and they say its a theme problem, as when this theme is disabled the plugin works just fine.
