I get the same error as temabul, at line 954, i had to disable the social counter since website was broken. I think it has to do with the youtube counter.

I was using theme, after I download last update(after months) I receive /public_html/wp-content/themes/steam/functions/core.php on line 954 and /public_html/wp-content/themes/steam/functions/core.php on line 955 errors. I don’t have old files. Do you have any idea about this

Hello, When disqus comments or facebook comments is enabled, does the them still count the number of comments?
I’m actually not sure – I don’t think so since they aren’t stored within WordPress. The theme only counts what WordPress counts, so if WP counts it, then the theme counts it, if that helps.
okay. I dont know what am not doing right but. I cant seem to get the frontpage of the minisites working well. Am able to set it up and it will work for a while but then i dont know what happens. it will change to minisite articles. I have been going on and on about it and cant seem to figure out why it happens like that.

It should. If not you can disable the lightbox effect in the theme options. I’ll be working through support this afternoon.

Hi. I’m interested in this theme for daily music blogging (mostly music releases of new single songs & albums). Is the theme suited for music blogging and playing music? Pre-sale question:
1 – Does this theme offer: Custom Post Type (so I can create Music Releases/Albums, Artists, Events) 2 – full width audio player? I want to populate the new music release to the audio player for playback (while navigating different pages) 3 – do you recommend another theme instead (Engine, etc)?

Yes, definitely a great theme for music-related sites. Embedding music within posts is easy, and you can do so with soundcloud and other music services.
1) Yes, comes with ability to create custom post types for anything you want.
2) Not sure how well persistent audio would work with page navigation – could be something a plugin provides, not sure.
3) Engine has a lot of features and would also work similarly for a music site. It doesn’t let you create custom post types in favor of a category based minisite approach.

Yes, it works with latest WordPress, and is fully compatible with yoast and w3 total cache, as well as other plugins.
It comes with revolution slider built in, so if you wanted to additionally add in revolution slider as a plugin you might need some tweaking.
Yes, it fully works with all current posts, and you can even move them into your minisites if you want to.

It actually lets you create unlimited custom post types which is what powers the built-in minisites.

Yes, the theme works with other post types. It doesn’t override or delete them or anything like that.

I am looking for a versatile theme for Wordpress that I can use for my affiliate products – focusing on various niches.
Is this the best theme you would recommend for that? How would I be able to include my affiliate links in a responsive and elegant way on the theme?

I have reviewed the template again and again. I really like it. But I have not purchased it. I feel it very gloomy , like cloudy day. This is the best function templates I’ve seen. Why not design beautiful sunshine it? Maybe there are more users to use this template to realize their dreams of websites.
You can change all of the styles and colors via the theme options to make it feel more how you’d like it to feel
The theme is very hard to setup. Very unhappy after purchasing the theme.
1. I am unable to move the existing articles to the minisites . How can this to be done?
2. The existing articles with YouTube video link won’t be able to display correctly. I mean, it’s okay on the desktop site, but it won’t auto-resize on mobile.
3. I am unable to set the mini icon of the menu items like the demo site you provided.
4. It’s extremely hard to put the mini site to the menu item.

1. Still can’t figure out how to transfer the existing articles to the mini site. 2. How to make the secondary logo to disappear? 3. Still couldn’t understand how to make the mini icon for the menu items.

is there an option to add ads to all posts like adding ads to header or footer in theme panel?
Currently there’s not – it’s just the header, footer, post loop, and any widget areas that you want.
Hi, I have a pre-sales question. I suppose we can make it mandatory for a visitor to register before commenting on a post with the default WordPress options. But, can the same validation be added for a visitor who is viewing a post and not commenting but trying to rate it through the rating widget?
Not with Steam, but with some of our newer themes such as Engine you can set it so users are required to be registered in order to rate the posts.

Love the theme! question before I purchase: Can I disable the tool tips for mobile devices? Currently on mobile when you click a link that has a tool tip, it doesn’t activate the link – you have to touch the link twice; once to activate the tool tip then to click the link – also after you deselect an element that has a tool tip, the tool tip still stays there (there’s no way to get rid of it unless you refresh page or click a link).

Hi, I am building a social network site which allows users to add product articles, review products, review product articles etc. Is this level of reviewing available with Steam? I have installed Wordpress and activated Buddypress. I want to give points to users for most of their actions like sign-up, adding product article, reviewing products, reviewing product articles, adding images, liking or disliking posts etc. Is Steam and myCred/Cubepoint integration possible without much hassle? Also, I want users to be able to share their articles, images, reviews etc. with/ through FB, twitter, instagram, pinterest etc., how can this be achieved through Steam or some special plugin? Could you please point me to a food/restaurant/cuisine website created using Steam? Thanks in advance
