You are using an old version of Aurum (2.3), the latest version for the moment is 2.4.1.
The easiest way to update our themes is if you use Envato Toolkit. On this link How to update Themes and Plugins
you can learn this easy step-by-step procedure 
After you update Aurum, then you need to update Plugins also. Just go to WP Dashboard > Appearance > Install Plugins, to install the latest version of plugins that we support (such as Visual Composer, Layer Slider, WooCoomerce etc.)
Then final step is to update your Wordpress site you are using 4.1.5 and the latest version is 4.2.2 which has very important security updates.
We won’t be able to provide support for outdated versions.
We want you to experience the best we have to offer while keeping your site safe.
Staying updated is the way to do it!

Please go to WP Dashboard > Laborator > Theme Options > Shop Settings > Pagination section and there you can change it’s settings to 5 rows or something else.

Hi there, I want to set up the carousel for 6 products in desktop view and 2 products for mobile. I know how to do it for desk, but problem is on cellphone screen. I was reading in someone post that was trying to do the same, but i couldnt find the solution, or the right code. i used this: @media screen and (max-width: 768px) {.owl-carousel .owl-wrapper, .owl-carousel { width: 100% !important; } } @media screen and (max-width: 768px) {.owl-item { width: 50% !important; } }

Can you send me the CSS code that you used to change carousel on desktop view. Unfortunately this is not possible for the mobile screens, so please send us your code that you used there, and we will make that code to work just on desktop, and on mobile it will be default theme layout.

- It is not for desktop (in desk version is showing 6 products), But in mobile it is working fine showing 2 columns products, but the carousel still slide left and right, i just need to disable this function.

I’ve just installed the theme but have a problem with the LayerSlider – I think.

Yes It is installed and seems to work fine. Under my plugins “LayerSlider” it says “You need to authorize this site in order to get upgrades or support for this plugin. Purchase a license or enter an existing purchase code.”

LayerSlider don’t allow us to give customers our license number, so on each premium plugin such as Visual Composer, Revolution Slider and Layer Slider update we release a new update to our theme with the latest version of LayerSlider included, and customers don’t need to worry about that,

But my theme still dosen’t work. The error code is still there and the plugin message is “You need to authorize this site in order to get upgrades or support for this plugin. Purchase a license or enter an existing purchase code.” So the answer is to purchase Layer Slider and that will correct the code error??

Hi there, very happy with the them, looks great, still building the shop, all really smooth. my client has two questions (patrickrochedesign.com) 1. is it possible to turn the slide show off for the images without changing anything else. he likes the images at the side, the big image as well. just the constant carousel? 2. the zoom over, when the mouse rolls over the main image (not such an issue)

To translate or rename theme strings, you can do this via Loco Translate plugin. If you don’t have this plugin, please install and activate it in your WordPress site.
1. Then go to Loco Translate > Manage Translations
2. Click “New Language” for the current active theme (if you didn’t created it yet, otherwise ignore this step). On the new language page, choose these options – click here http://d.pr/i/1ewoc
3. After that you will be redirected to the editing screen for theme translations. Before you continue make sure this is true – click here http://d.pr/i/18h0w
4. Follow these instructions to learn how to translate strings – http://d.pr/i/1jsek
5. The changes will be applied immediately – http://d.pr/i/1ju6w
Note: Translation files will be saved to wp-content/themes/{theme-name}/languages folder. Here you have the explanation – http://d.pr/i/1lBCJ
After you make your changes, always save a backup when there is new theme update. After you update the theme (languages folder will be replaced), just move the backup files you previously saved to the same languages directory and your changes will still be applied.

If this is happening on VC backend (admin panel) then it should be a VC problem. WPBakery has released new version of Visual Composer and we will make it available in the next update, I hope that will fix your problem. The next update is coming this week. However, updating premium plugins in the theme is not allowed by Envato, thus what we do to update these plugins is:
1. Each update of Aurum theme we include latest version of the premium plugins (such as Layer Slider, Visual Composer)
2. To install updates you must go to Appearance > Install Plugins
If you want I can forward you the latest version of LayerSlider via email.

I have a t-shirt company, and have a graphic I want to use just like the one you have in the demo but I can’t seem to figure out what element I need to use. Can you point me in the right direction?

It is quite easy to achieve this, so all you need to do is to create and prepare the slider in Layer Slider from admin page. Then create new page and assign the slider from Visual Composer, like shown here:

Hi, is Aurum Theme really compatible with Revolution Slider?
I installed the last version of Revolution Slider (4.6) but it’s clashing with Aurum’s theme TweenMax librairie. As a result, the mini-cart is not working anymore, and probably other things too. http://i.cubeupload.com/9eIOPZ.pngAs soon as I deactivate Revolution Slider everything works.
Here’s the error message in the Chrome console:
TweenMax.min.js:16 Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property ‘greensock’ of undefined aurum-custom.js:429 Uncaught ReferenceError: TweenMax is not defined http://i.cubeupload.com/SZAWx9.pngCan you help me in anyway? It is very important for us to be able to use Revolution Slider.

This error happens with earlier versions of revolution slider, so I recommend you to install Revolution Slider v4.6.93
This helped other users with the same issue to fix it. If that doesn’t work we can try another alternative.
Also, to ensure you have the latest version of TweenMax, please download it here: http://drops.laborator.co/1eEKV and replace in theme directory:
wp/wp-content/themes/aurum/assets/js/

I’d like to set a site-wide transparent header with an image. I know how to select ‘transparent header’ when editing a single page, but where do I select the transparent header image? Is it on a per-page basis?

If you set a transparent header, then to set an image you must do it with custom css, which will affect all site pages.
I guess you want to set a general background image for each page so just apply it via Custom CSS if you know how to do that. If you don’t know then give me the site and tell me which image (url) you want to set and I will give you the proper css for that.

Hello team, I am facing some issues when uploading demo content for TechStore. Can you please help me as to how am I suppose to upload the demo content. I have followed all instructions given in “docs”. The in built “demo content” feature just adds “media files” when the checkbox is ticked. The .xml file when imported results in no new results, but just show the message “Media file already exists”. Kindly let me know where am I going wrong or what the exact issue is.

It seems that your demo content is already imported and you just need to set it up, the homepage and set the menus in Menu Locations.
