I am looking to increase the size of the image on the Tour meta-box. Is there a simple way to do this with overwriting CSS or something?

Hi, the Tour images can only be as large as 360px in width. The theme creates specific sizes for the best load times, so in this case CSS alone wouldn’t help. We recommend removing all white space to make the most of the size.
The showcase meta box is our recommendation for larger images up to 500px. You can see how it is similar in our demo: http://demo.themovation.com/pursuit/showcase/ The service blocks below are of course optional.

I think that’s an issue with WordPress and not so much the theme. Since WordPress create different sizes for the theme it strips out all animated features of the gif. Try this article to see how to upload the gif at the original size you want to use. http://ds106.us/handbook/blogging/uploading-animated-gifs/
Hi, is it possible to add alt tags to images that are uploaded through the meta boxes, Showcase for example? I’ve added alt tags to the individual images through the media library but it still displays as alt=”” in the source.

Hi – I’m trying to activate the child theme but there is no option to do this – pls can someone help?
Hi, there is a “pursuit-child” folder in the download package. You just need to transfer that over FTP into your themes folder and it will show up. Or you can zip it up and add it through the Appearance > Themes area.
We zeroed in Pursuit after lot of research and we have to admit that the choice was BANG ON TARGET. This theme not only allows you to develop using their wonderful template, but it is also very flexible. It allows you to make changes and fixes faster. Also, their support is incredible. I received resolutions on same business day for all my requests and doubts. Truly wonderful theme and team. Hats off for their creativity!!

I need to add a script for our LIveHelp.The script given to me by whmcs says to add it between the <head> tags in html. But where do I add it in the theme so it applies to every page? Can I just add it to header.php and does it matter where?
It’s OK, I’ve stuck it in the header-top-navbar.php and it’s working
That is unless I add a slider to my page which doesn’t work. Perhaps there’s a conflict.

where is the footer menu?
If you’d like to include a menu in the footer, you can add the WP menu widget into one of the footer widget areas.
I have a question. I am using the theme provided content as a start and am making an edit to a provided custom field on the Masonry Blog page but the field is not able to update. After clicking update it reverses back to the original entry. My example is trying to update themo_page_header_1_header field entry of Masonary Blog to become News instead.
Oh, you are editing the custom fields directly? I recommend turning them off and using the metaboxes to update settings. Go do screen options and hide ‘custom fields’ unless you are using some custom fields that you created via customization. Our them does not allow you to edit our custom fields directly like that. I hope that makes sense.

Hello, theme looks nice. How do you create the style sheet switcher? Is it a plugin? I would like to make a few tabs like these (so: social media tabs and live help/chat tabs) and would like to know if these ‘floating’ tabs will work in this theme.
Hi, it’s a custom script but I’m sure you can find a plugin that does that. If you purchase the theme we can certainly send you our code but you’ll need to know how to add it and we can’t provide support for that custom script.

Can i use Visual composer in this theme?
Hi, Pursuit does include a page builder but it is not Visual Composer. It’s a custom builder that uses standard WordPress meta boxes so the interface should be quite familiar.

Hi, We added some text to service-block-9, but now its neither visible on frontpage or in admin, but I can see it in source code for the site.
Ah, what may have happened is that you used the metabox builder to add multiple service blocks (x9) but then you moved the slider back down to less than 9 so it removed the service block 9 from your edit screen even though it’s still set to display. Try moving your quantity slider for service block back up to 9 and save your page, then it should come back up. Sorry if there was any confusion. Thanks for asking us.
Hi I purchased this menu and am trying to figure out how to get two different custom menus in the sidebar of different pages. I see that I can turn the sidebar on or off on specific pages, but it does not appear that I can have more than one widget configuration. I want a custom menu to go into the side bar of one page, but not on most others. Any way to do this?

Sorry, unfortunately there isn’t a way to change the meta box type once it’s created. I’d suggest adding the Service Block meta box, and then copy/pasting the content from the other.
Hi, I just purchase your theme, I would like to know if its possible to see more than 3 icons on the service block, I would like to put 6 icons and their descriptions but is not allowing me to do it. is there a way to do this????? please i need help
Also I cant use your theme like drag things on the page settings all looks static… maybe is a bug for the new version of wordpress please check that as well.
Hi, the standard (horizontal) service blocks have no limit. It sounds like you’re referring to the larger icon vertical style blocks though, which can be used to display 1, 2, or 3 in a row. You could add another instance of the meta box below that and add 3 more if you like.
Regarding the drag and drop, that functionality is in fact there. It’s in the top meta box on each page titled “Meta Box Builder”. There’s more info in the documentation if you haven’t seen it: http://docs.themovation.com/pursuit/#metaboxes
Hello! I love the theme! Quick question: Can the “tour” support video? I have a youtube video I’d like to put where the “image” section is. I looked through all the previous comments on here and didn’t see anything that was related.

Hello! Thanks for asking. I’m pretty sure you can use the video embed in the copy area but not to replace the image. The space for the image is reserved for a graphic. I hope that helps.
I used the YouTube code in the text area and removed the animation so it’s not obvious that it’s in the text box. Thanks for the suggestion.

I am loving this theme! Just wondering, there is only one page to my site, and on the mobile version, there is the “three bar” selector for pages in the upper corner. Is there a way to disable this? Also, and more importantly , the slider shrinks dramatically on the mobile version. Is there a way to enlarge that, or have a different logo appear just for mobile? Thank you so much!

The slider shrinks that much because it’s designed to have content in it, but since your slide just has a background it’s not appearing very large. You can correct it with this code:

Hi. I really like this theme and was about to purchase until I ran a speed test using google and yahoo…google gives it a perfect UX rating, but horrible speed score of 54/100…can you fix that and I’ll buy…thanks. P.
Hi, the low score on certain pages is really just because we haven’t yet added a caching plugin or minified some of the files. Additionally, our demo includes extra code like the style switcher and our live chat, which adds to the load. We’ll be revisiting the optimization for sure. There isn’t a class that just includes that specific text but if you wanted to remove it you could use this:
.post .post-meta {display:none}
On the Masonry blog that would also hide the comments number. On the standard blog, it would hide date too.
