Woocommerce Taxes.
Hello, I’m having an issue with Woocommerce not being able to calculate taxes properly. I have the following post on wordpress.org with no solutions. Maybe you guys could provide some insight?
“Hi everyone, I’m having an issue with Woocommerce not calculating tax at all. No matter what I do, I seem to get a tax value of 0. All I want to do is tax products sold in the state of Michigan at a rate of 6%. Anywhere outside of the state the rate is 0%. For whatever reason, I can’t get this up and running.

http://i.imgur.com/MRzIhws.png These are my tax options for the site. I’m basing tax on the customers shipping address and using the “Standard” tax class again.

I have it set to US, MI, *, *, 6%, Priority 1. I see that shipping is checked in the photo. I don’t actually want to tax shipping, but the problem persists even after unchecking shipping.

Sorry for the late reply on this thread as I was not in the office during these days, I was on vacation and other team members couldn’t reply to technical problems.
For standard class rate here is how we have set the parameters in our settings page and they are being applied successfully:

Hi,
I cannot resize single product images. If I put them in at 550×730 they are too big but if I make them smaller they are blurry.
In the comments you have said to use this code in the function.php
add_filter( ‘laborator_wc_category_thumbnail_size’, create_function( ’’, ‘return “original”;’ ) );
I did that and used a different size image but nothing has changed. Can you please give instructions on how to make single product images smaller.

If you want to resize single product images, add this code too:
add_filter( ‘single_product_large_thumbnail_size’, create_function( ’’, ‘return “original”;’ ) );
This will return only original images for each product in single page.

Sorry for late answer, as I was busy releasing new version of our newest theme Kalium and thus didn’t had time to provide support. I apologize about it.
The code I gave to you:
add_filter( ‘single_product_large_thumbnail_size’, create_function( ’’, ‘return “original”;’ ) );
You should add to functions.php in the end of file, so make some new lines then paste the code above. It will show on your product page only high quality photos (the original ones you have uploaded) and not cropped.

Both of the themes are great, it depends on you which type of them you like, Oxygen has some features like Quick-view, side menu and some others while Aurum supports the mega menu and is more simple and minimal not so commercialized as Oxygen.

What version of our theme are you using? The latest version is 1.4.1.
If you have an older version then the easiest way to update our themes is if you use Envato Toolkit. On this link How to update Themes and Plugins
you can learn this easy step-by-step procedure
Then go to Appearance > Install Plugins to update all your premium plugins to the latest version that we support.

An other problem: When you go to Visual Composer, product Carrousel, edit Query, and try to choose a special Categories, the list doesnt load. It ll be more esay if we can send you pictures.

I have got a problem with the registration redirect. After a registration, the redirect should take the user to the “my-account” page. Technically this is not possible however you can still show the sidebar on both pages, using a simple plugin “Conditional Widgets” which will help you achieve what you want. So you can show widgets based on shop category being shown, please install this plugin:
https://wordpress.org/plugins/conditional-widgets/Add the widgets for men and women in shop, then apply the condition for each widget you want to hide or show on specific page.
Instructions how to use that plugin can be found in the plugin page (link I gave to you).

1. You can change the color of the header by adding this to the Custom CSS:
header.site-header.header-type-1 {
background: red !important;
}
2. If you want to install a demo then install a new one you need to delete the posts and media created by it one by one and then you’ll need to install a new one.

2. As we have written on our theme description “Mega Menu (UberMenu support – it’s not included)”
We would include the Uber Menu for free with our theme but we are not permitted to do this because they do not provide Extended Licenses, so you must purchase it separately.

You are absolutely right, here is the quickfix for you:
1. Download this file: http://drops.laborator.co/1leNh
2. Replace it in this directory:
/wp-content/themes/aurum/assets/js/min/
It will disable image magnifier on screens that are lower than 768 pixels wide.

In the backend i read that i have the 4.5.3 version of Visual Composer and it’s available the 4.6.1 but i can’t update because it asks to put a license in it.. i read that if i have the latest version of the theme it is pre-packed but it doesn’t, i updated the theme but i still read old versions of visual composer and layer slider, i uninstalled and re-installed many times the plugins and even the theme, but nothing. Please help me!!

WPBakery Visual Composer don’t allow us to give customers our license number, so on each premium plugin such as Visual Composer, Revolution Slider and Layer Slider update we release a new update to our theme with the latest version of VC included, and customers don’t need to worry about that,
You never need to buy any premium plugins that comes with our theme
We will update Aurum very soon, and it will have the latest version of all plugins

I’ve updated to the version 2.4.1 of the theme but both layer slider and visual composer tell me that they need to be updated and they need a license to be updated. If you’re not having problems with these plugins then you shouldn’t be worried about it, you cannot update the plugins manually as they are included in the theme and in order to get the latest version of them you will need to wait for the theme update until we release it.

i looked for info’s and i found that it can be caused from the limit of the memory for wordpress, somebody said to bring the limit to 64mb and i did it but nothing, it still says me that.
I discovered this error because i was looking for some bug because one of the customers said to us that she hasn’t been able to buy because once arrived at the cart page she can’t go further, the system doesn’t work. This website is live and it’s selling so i need a help soon please!

This is a strange error, and we’re sure that it doesn’t come from Aurum, but it can come from PHP limits, this article can help you Recommended PHP Configuration Limits
P.S: Regular License or Extended Licenses are for one website use only, you need to buy one copy for each website that you want to use read more.
