Purchased 2 licences already, have a quick question:
Is it possible to create a template for a section of a page and add it to various pages, so that when I update that section, update is applied to all pages this section is included in. I do see custom templates, but these are static. In other words if I am showing 5 team members and these members appear on 20 pages as a section, if I were to remove 1 member I would have to update all 20 pages. Is there a more efficient way of doing this?

I can’t get author website to appear on his profile page, I tried looking into code and it says its using “author_custom” as a way to retrieve that field, shouldn’t it be ‘user_url’ instead?

Can I Collect all demos in One ? like avada cafe for iPhone apps , avada hotel for iPad apps , avada classic is the main demo , and it’s all in one site
You can copy the page layouts into one demo, but many of the styles and options are pulled from global theme options so they will not all look that individual. So I guess the answer to this is no in the sense you are asking about. You’d be better off setting up a multi-site and putting one demo per site.

Is that showing on the front end? You have WP debug set to true then I think. You can turn it off by setting it to false: https://codex.wordpress.org/Debugging_in_WordPress

Hi there, two questions:
1) I want a Lightbox with Contact Form 7 to pop up when a button is pressed on my Rev Slider. Is there a way to do this? I see a referral to wpbeginner here but they recommend OptinMonster, and my client doesn’t want to spend more.
2) My clients wants to feature quotes on a Rev slider. Is there a way for a new quote to populate the slider each time the page is refreshed?

You can use our modal shortcode for this. Put the form inside the modal and trigger the modal window through our button shortcode, you add to the slider. Every button shortcode lets you specify a modal name that should be opened on click.
You could try using our testimonial shortcode for this and add a few quotes and set the order to random. This way the first testimonial shown will change on every page load.

Excellent! How do you insert Avada shortcodes into the Rev slider? I don’t see an option for that in the editor.
You would need to copy the shortcode from a page, or from our docs here: http://theme-fusion.com/knowledgebase/avada-shortcode-list/ then past it into the layer. Unfortunately there is not built in integration for that since Rev Slider is not our own plugin.

Here’s what I would do:
1. Create a new test page
2. Use fusion builder and use the testimonial element to build your testimonial shortcode
3. Switch from builder to default editor and copy/paste the shortcode to the area you want.

I’ve updated my wordpress using the Avada theme, everything looks great on my computer, updated, and all is well. So i check on my other laptop to check to see if updated and it still has the Avada demo content, my Ipad has the same, and my mobile phone. Are the updates in real-time?? Sometime it takes like 5 hrs before finally updating. All my other themes updates realtime and I have absolutely no problem. I need help, is there an area or tutorial that can get me instant updates??

The update is real time, as the WordPress updater is used. Once the update is installed, the changes are live. Do you use any cache plugins on your site using Avada?
Make sure to clear browser cache on your laptop before viewing your updated site.

I bought this theme and am very unhappy with the results. I feel like you guys are trying to force me into paying $50 wordpress installation fee. This is not right?! Why can’t I just install it on my own?!
The theme zip file downloaded is about 255MB. I tried to uploaded several times and it didn’t work. Then I tried opening the zip file, and opening the “0 – READ ME FIRST.rtf”. Then I opened the wordpress video tuturial and said to upload the “Avada.zip” under the “Avada_Full_Package\Avada Theme” directory.
I went to upload the “Avada.zip” 22MB file and it gave me this error: “The uploaded file exceeds the upload_max_filesize directive in php.ini.”
Please help me. If I can’t instal this theme, unfortunately I am going to have to ask for a refund or dispute the charge.

It seems you tried to upload the full package at first. The Avada.zip with 22MB is the correct one. The error you receive is server related. You can contact your hoster and let them know about it. Tell them that upload_max_filesize needs to be increased. Once this is done, you can upload the theme just like you tried it.
Alternatively you can extract the zip yourself and FTP the contents to your server. The extracted Avada folder should go to wp-content/themes folder on the server.

I’ve checked all the options and I can’t seem to figure out how to change the button hover and button text hover colors… is there an option for that?

You can change it globally in Theme Options > Shortcodes > Button Shortcode. There are options for gradient colors for normal and hover state and also for “Accent Color”, which will effect the border and also text color. Same is true for the button shortcode (and builder element).
