Is there any way I can make the “MORE” button on an individual video post page the same yellow as the social media buttons above? It currently only turns yellow when you hover over it. But I would like it to stand out BEFORE they hover over it. Thank you!

I have purchased this theme and I am having an issue with the “Grid” feature on the “Smart Content Box”.
I have downloaded the very latest (today) version but it does not change anything.
When I try to get exactly the same block content which is displayed on your demo page : it does not work.
Can you explain me how to get exactly the same block called “Featured” on this home page : http://demo.cactusthemes.com/#truemagIs it is 2 columns block : the first column displays a big picture, and the second colunm displays 4 little pictures.
I need to know : the type of smart content used in the visual composer (I have tried with “Smart Content Box”), the displayed mode (I have tried with “Grid” as it is explained in the documentation help files) and the configuration (I have tried with the 2, 4 et 6 columns options in the drop list).

The style you are mentioning is Grid of smart content box. To set it like on demo page, In the smart content box settings, please choose Grid for Layout, 4 for column, and set a number bigger than 2 for Number of Slides.

I have tried another time with your configuration and it still does not work.
When I look the source code of your « featured » box content with the Firefox console I can see : div id=”1522630262” class=”smart-box smart-box-style-1 is-carousel”
But when I use exactly the same configuration (Smart Box Content / Grid / 4 columns / 5 slides) the code generated by the visual composer is different : div class=”wpb_column vc_column_container vc_col-sm-12”
In my opinion there is a problem in the back office. The « grid » value in the drop list options does not generate the good source code so that the css div class generated is not ok.
When I use the Grid, I don’t have any content displayed on the block.
By the way, I would like to know how to reduce the hight of the “video description” field in the submit video form ? The hight of this field seems to big and the visotor needs to scroll down in order to see the captcha and the submit button … which is not very user friendly.

Featured Content shortcode is different with Smart Content Box, pls use Featured content shortcode.
If shortcode does not display any post, you should check your query condition (cat, tag, order…)
You could add custom CSS to Theme options to reduce that field’s height:

As soon as I use other value that “Grid” (such as “Smal Carousel” or “Medium Carousel” or “Medium Carousel with navigation” or “Single”) in the Layout drop list : the content is displayed.
As soon as I use “Grid” in the Layout drop list : there is no content displayed.
In a nutshell, my client really want exactly the same look called “Featured” on your home page, and I still don’t understand how to fix the bug.

How do I change the background behind a single video player (it’s dark grey at the moment, I want to use a background image), and same thing for the (even darker) area below at video series (the space where the episode links appear)?
And how do I change the background/text color of the search in the naviation?

Do you have any plans on supporting SoundCloud & DailyMotion Embed? Possibly have a dedicated SoundCloud/Music Category or Filter to distinguish the two content types? Videos can be added from URL. You can set default status for submitted posts to be Publish or Draft (which needs to be approved)

Hi, could you give me a custom css to make the cactus channel listing page full width with out side bars. i selected a page for channel listings and set the template to full width but it still shows only 3 channels per row with a lot of space on the right. i also would like to edit the name “channel” which shows at the top of the channel listing page. In your first image, you have created 6 groups and 1 video here. You can add your video .mp4 to one group. That is not a bug.
In your second image, this error is because JW Player 6 Plugin for Wordpress plugin. is missing. Please install it and check your problem again.

I love your theme. I have had it for a couple of months. I never bothered to check on pingdom or gmetrix because I have such a fast dedicated server it never occurred to me. Recently my rankings started to drop a little so I went about trying to identify the culprit since my SEO is impeccable. I did a pingdom test and my site is taking up to 7 to 9 seconds to fully load from a near by server. http://tools.pingdom.com/fpt/#!/n0bid/teenboysmilk.com
I then enabled cloudflare and still the same result. So many requests and render blocking scripts. I tested on smaller pages with only a few images and still very slow. It seems fast to the naked eye just by looking at it load but the tests show it taking much longer than it should.
I am convinced this is somehow theme related or theme update related.
I have enabled: gzip w3tc with pre load image lazy load across the board merge and minification
I cannot async your java or CSS because it will break many things. but even I i DID async it the load time would be very bad. I have tried EVERYTHING. As I said I am on an extremely fast and expensive dedicated server.
I only have a few plugins running that should not be causing this.
Please HELP me because I am as we speak losing first position on many valuable keywords in serps.

We all know that truemag is a multimedia-kind theme, it’s not easy to implement all features, load lots of images and keep speed at the same time. As I see, there are something might slowdown your site:
- plugin users-ultra-pro: it’s loading dublicate Font awesome, loading heavy jQuery UI
- plugin wp-user-frontend-pro: it’s loading jquery UI too.
BTW, we’ve checked and fixed images’ width height attributes missing problem, pls wait for next update.

Can you give me some advice as to what I should say to the people over at users ultra pro? About the font awesome and jquery ui? Is there anything I can do right now without even involving them? How can I disable the font awesome? I am kinds noobish at this stuff.
You need to disable those plugin to prevent those issues, but if you want to use them, you should contact plugins’ author about the problems.
You could disable some recommended plugins that you’re not using (ex: truemag member, visual composer…) In the next update, we will fix several problems to improve theme’s performance.
