To customize you will need to edit the php code you have to have good knowledge to edit it,
For the Easy digital download page, why i cannot see the vendor profile?

Unfortunately we didn’t test the theme for frontend-submissions plugin.

Yes Shows only the author profile
It is no showing the download product below the profile?
It is a custom page layout we created it from our point of view, I agree it needs some work and we’ll do our best to enhance it in future updates.
I hope the latest update can come with this front end submission feature and other edd features

The theme supports the main WC plugin, we didn’t test it on other plugins, it is not supposed to test the plugin on all plugins in the world

Hi, thanks for the recent update for the theme. But I couldn’t find the documentation on how to update it with the new files. I’ve tried overwriting the theme folder with the new one, but all I get is a blank page. The version I am currently running has a child theme attached.

hi, I haven’t updated the theme since June. How should I update this theme without risk of losing any data? Overwriting the existing files on server gave me that error: “Fatal error: Call to undefined function vc_map_get_attributes() in /wp/wp-content/themes/exception/vc_templates/vc_row.php on line 22”. Also a pre-purchase question. I am new to WP themes. Have a client who has a current site up with blogs dating to 2011 and these cannot be lost or corrupted. Is it an easy and safe job to back these files up and install over the current theme without loss of data integrity? Most concerned about the dates and comments.
Alternatively, is this something you would carry out as a paid service? With the certainty that this will be a total success. I usually work in HTML5 so please excuse the “silly” questions.

There is no worry about the data, themes don’t affect the data unless you didn’t override it from theme options import demo data.
All what you need is to install the theme and activate it, this will show your blog posts with the new look and feel and won’t lose the data .
but recommended to take a backup before you do any new modifications, just to be safe

Unfortunately mail delivery failed and i was waiting if it can be re-sent again.
Anyway I’ll paste the message here:
the coming soon that comes with the theme demo data is to be set as the default home page and this can be done like this:
Go to your wordpress dashboard -> Settings -> Reading—> Front page displays and select coming soon page in the front page.

How do I get the “Latest Tweets” widget to show tweets from my Twitter account, and not yours? There’s no place to insert an ID or link in the widget settings. Only a title
Please go to EXCEPTION theme options under the appearance menu, then find General Settings—> Twitter API Config then add your new values.

This is WordPress theme and there are no HTML files included in it
I know this is WordPress theme, but in the sidebar of the theme page i saw “ThemeForest Files Included: PHP Files, HTML Files, CSS Files, JS Files”
And i saw the Page of HTML template for the same theme, before purchasing the WP theme, and i compared between them.. so i bought the wordpress theme because it`s include HTML files which i need.
the HTML package can’t be included in the WordPress version unless it is sold individually.
There were some HTML files included in the first release and removed later but still logged in the TF sidebar, and logically we can’t include the hole HTML package for free unless it was released and sold before the WordPress theme.

The front-end visual composer causes some conflicts with our shortcodes and features, so, we had to stop it to present you all our available features.
We are working to resolve these conflicts but this takes too much time and really can’t give you an accurate time to include this in the next updates.
