Thanks that was helpful, it’s working now. I do however have another question. Is it possible to stop videos from playing automatically when the page loads. I’d like to give the user the option to play the video instead of an auto play mode.

The Video Importer plugin is clashing with the Visual Composer plugin because I have WooCommerce activated.
This is the error message I receive:
Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 268435456 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 16419 bytes) in wp-content/plugins/js_composer/include/classes/vendors/plugins/class-vc-vendor-woocommerce.php on line 1059
I tried to increase the max memory limit, but no matter what I increase it to it will still exhaust.

I’m not sure how it looks, make sure you have latest version of Woocommerce, Visual Composer and Video Importer.
Note: Visual Composer 4.6.2 (latest) can be found in purchase files, the new version I just released yesterday.

1. The theme isn’t designed for woocommerce, that does not mean the theme does not work with it.

hi, your theme is very good. having one issue if you check over the site is http://www.sashassexclub.com/videos/ you will see the blank area between other videos. If you can just help to know why its coming or you can prevent it will be very good and appreciable.

1. The problem is you set 4 columns so the post meta (date, views, liked) may break the layout, I think you should set it as 3 columns or hide one of post meta item, it may work.
2. Video Thumbnails plugin does not work for the video file, here is supported sites.

The problem is you use the low quality image so the theme can’t cut it in fixing size, that’s one of cases it breaks the layout, also you built the theme as your way so I’m not sure it will work fine, I’m afraid you would need to find a freelancer for that.

Video Thumbnails plugin does not work for video self-hosted file, I see you uploaded the mp4 file format, that’s why it does not work.
But a good news I think that the theme compatible with this plugin now, example.
By using that plugin, You can generate the image from mp4 file for making Featured Image.
so You should upgrade the theme to latest version, you should redownload the theme on Themeforest and override on the old in your site.
But as I said before, if you modified the theme, the update will lost all these changes.

I confuse you question.
1. Do you mean about “Notes” is video category page? if so, you should setup it on the menu and please check “Menu” section in documentation or WordPress Menu User Guide and this tips.
2. You should set the thumbnail size is “video-featured” in Featured Image size field of Page builder screen, something looks like this.
3. This can be solved by using this plugin or something similar, it’s great SEO plugin I know so far.
4. You can modify it in videotube/single-video.php, I’m afraid you have to understand CSS/PHP knowledges.

It breaks layout, and also i haven’t enough space in Lastest post. You have the same trouble http://marstheme.com/?product=videotube See that box, “Decorative Pumpkins: Which one?” there is not enough space for title. Can you fix it? Point of view: Make titles be word wrap(transfer on the next line)

the next next page-button on my front page (1 2 3 Next >> – like the one at the bottom of http://videotube.marstheme.com/homepage-v1-2-columns-left-sidebar/) has suddenly stopped working. When i press a page number or press next, i am simply directed to the front page again, without going to the next page.
The next page-button works on all the category sub-pages.
I don’t know what i have done wrong. I have tried to update all plugins, and remove all custom CSS, but the problem remains.
Any idea what could be causing this?
My Wordpress version is WordPress 4.2.4 My Videotube version is 1.3.4.4.2

I have JWPlayer plugin installed. I want to use the shortcode [jwplayer file=”rtmp://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:1935/vod/sample.mp4”] It works on anything else, but putting that in the video portion of Add Video just shows the shortcode in plain text.
Let me elaborate My client purchased this theme and got everything working great. The only problem is getting videos to play from our CDN. My client uses an in-house Wowza Server and need to be able to play VOD files from that server. Using the JWplayer embed code it works. If I upload the file locally it works. Only when trying to stream from that Wowza server do we run into issues with the theme’s compatibility.
Or, is there any type of support for SMIL files?

Here is from documentation:
With VideoTube you can either add a featured image for your videos manually or use the smart Video Thumbnail functionality. This way the theme will automatically grab a screenshot from the video and use it as the featured image. Here’s how you set it up:
Step 1 Go to Settings > Video Thumbnails
Step 2 Click on Video in Post Type section
Step 3 Enter video_url in the “Custom Field (optional) field”
Step 4 Your settings should now look like this, remember to save your changes.
