1. Here’s a great sprite tutorial – https://css-tricks.com/css-sprites/ 2. You need to use another tag –span. Just paste the ‘chat’ inside it. It will look like –

An extension (Shoutbox) for 3.1.5 displays an error on this theme, stating that the theme does not inherit the prosilver theme properly. What can be done?

I just got an email for another update. Did you doubly fix it today? 
It was two separate updates. The first fixed checkboxes appearance for Webkit-based browsers (like Google Chrome) and the second one fixes the logo issue you met. So to fix the logo issue you just need to upload metro.css template – the logo fix is inside that.
As for the images. As far as I can see you’ve got some image folder issue – you logo isn’t loading at all – http://www.audibleworlds.com/styles/metro_blue/theme/images/site_logo.png

The theme is built upon the default phpBB theme “prosilver” so it supports all phpBB extensions. One thing – you may have some visual issues if you use an extension that works with the header (since our header has a little different structure), but in this case you can contact us and we’ll help you to fix it.
I see there is an update to phpbb 3.15 now. Can I update without updating the css? I customized the colors to match my website. Would hate to loose all my work.

Can I update without updating the css?Unfortunately, phpBB 3.1 has rather new template structure (including css-templates) and it’s not possible just to copy and paste the old customization css-rules to the new templates. So I’m sorry to upset you but you’ll have to move all the changes manually rule by rule.

The color of the blocks is #808080. You can find and replace the color with yours. The color is stored in css-files that can be found inside /YOUR_THEME/theme/folder.

It’s not a bug, it’s a design feature to help people see difference between ordinary menu item and important search item. But if you want to change it to common color, just contact us via our profile page, I’ll send you instructions.

Upgrading phpbb from 3.0 to 3.1.5….if I upgrade the php base then install your latest style, I guess I’ll lose and changes that have been made to the original theme over the time I’ve had it? The point is that phpBB 3.0 and 3.1 is rather different forum systems. Since that the styles for the versions are not compatible you’ll have to move all style changes manually to the new version. By the way, the mods for 3.0 are not working with 3.1, so you need to find and test new ‘extensions’ for the forum to work as before updating.
Thanks. So anything new or different on your new release, or mainly a rework to accommodate phpbb 3.1? Never been real happy with the Gallery and Directory Mods anyway. lol Hopefully there will be some new extensions that work better!
Yes, it’s mainly a rework. We tried to keep the theme as similar to the original Metro theme as possible.
