hi, I have few pre-sale questions. 1.) If i observed correctly, is this theme only for agents only? I want to have a real estate directory website in which anyone can post their real estage property on the website and not just the agents. (this is my main and most important question by the way)
2.) And are the custom fields in the search area customizeable without coding? for example if i do not want condo or cottage in the list but i want some other words instead of them in the dropmenu.
3.) There are 5 dropmenus in the search criteria. Can i add some more custom dropmenus for example ‘year built’? and make them 6 dropmenus without coding?
4.) When users log in to their profiles to submit listings, do they see a wordpress dashboard or a dashboard which is made by the theme for the logged in users? means can they easily tell just by looking at the dashboard that ahaa this is a wordpress website

It’s mostly for agents. not for all of your users can post. there are few options for it. but it might be little limited. if you see our new theme (javo home) is more closed to all of your users to post properties.
There is no custom fields for it. you are talking about taxonomies. you can change names.
Unfortunately there is no option for built year.
it goes to dashboard on front-end. it’s also possible to visit to backend. you need to use a plugin to prevent it.

Hello, great theme so far, I believe there is some type of issue with Visual Composer. For example, (and I’ve done extensive troubleshooting / process of elimination), I’ve run into an issue where anytime a [property ] or [javo_property] shortcode is used it breaks the VC page/post grid. [javo_main_search] doesn’t do it, but any of the [property ] or [javo_property] shortcodes break the grid (I have a feeling there are some unclosed tags)
Also, please note that a recent update of VC addressed some issues with the grid (2.10.2015 – ver 4.7.4 – Fixed: Bug in grid builder presets – Added extra ajax check)

I was confused. because this theme doesn’t have Visual composer plugin included and we didn’t work on compatibility. unfortunately we can’t provide you the newest version of VC. I think that’s your own plugin. not from us.
As you may know, if you are using visual composer, you should update to 4.7.4 version for security issue.

Hello Jave Team! I’ve an issue with the meta data (custom meta keys and values with your theme) when using any json response.
For example… latitude and longitude from the map appears like this:
“latlng”: [ “s:78:\”a:2:{s:3:\”lat\”;s:18:\”40.653198478383175\”;s:3:\”lng\”;s:18:\”-73.95414308015137\”;}\”;” ],
and I can’t parse that information… are all strings with single letters and numbers where Json Objects should go.
How can I fix this??? I need to parse that info ASAP and it’s the first time in my life using dozens of themes that I get this kind of json response.

I am not really sure how you will organize types, locations. it’s based on wordpress taxonomies and we created a custom taxonomies. ( types, locations ). you may need to have a look at them.
Wordpress permalink structure doesn’t make like that.
domain.com/taxonomies/taxonomy-slug-name/
domain.com/single-slug-name/
This is how wordpress permalink works. we are following it as well.

Wordpress structure doesn’t provide 2 taxonomies slugs on permalink. Types / Cities are 2 taxonomies. only 1 taxonomy and category. You may have to work on re-write rule or find a plugin. we can’t assist customization.

I’m interested in your theme. Yet, I have few questions before I buy the theme. 1. I don’t know much about IDX, but it could be just an external plugin which is use to list properties from other system. May I clarify that the theme can operate real estate system without requiring IDX? 2. In my country, we use square meters not feet/foot, so do you have option in the system to change it? 3. Can I adjust the front-page and other pages to show banners and other information widgets?

1. IDX is from other sever. we just use a plugin to get the list. it’s out of our data.
2. There is a field for adding size.
3. We don’t have that option. you may need to add html tags.
