Video post format and facebook problem
Using the post video format, on Facebook results ok

Not sure, how are you adding it on the homepage? I had tried both a twitter widget plugin, and the straight text (as per your example); and the sidebar is the same that appears on the front page as well as the other pages. Today it seems to be working.

Sorry to ask stupid questions again, want to confirm with you that as long as I didn’t change any files (I mean adding or adjusting codeS), only using plugin (even I am adding custom post types with plugin), I don’t need to use the Child Theme, and I can update the theme directly. Am I correct?

That can’t be done using theme’s settings unfortunately so you need to customize theme’s content function to add another content inline ad, here: http://screencast.com/t/TNBOHzJyh A solution for this would be to use custom ad 1 spot for example and its shortcode to place it manually where you want it to appear in posts’s content, like this: http://screencast.com/t/iXMW8Ao0nO – http://screencast.com/t/8EqMfho1UNp

Hi, I tried so long and using different methods, I still cannot make the theme to show custom post types. (Newsmag Theme) I am using the Custom Post Types UI plugin and the Advanced Custom Fields Plugin. Can you please show me how.

Our themes sales are managed by Envato and according to their policies each theme/license can be used for one product (site): http://themeforest.net/licenses/standard but you can use it on multiple test sites. If you want to use it on multiple sites/domains you’d have to buy a license for each project.
Based on your project’s description you can use the same licence, if you need more details on this you could also ask Envato as they determined the rules in this regard: https://help.market.envato.com/hc/en-us/requests/new
2. You need to setup the shop/woocommerce for each theme/wp install or use custom links to send your visitors from one site to the main shop from a different wp install (site).

Unfortunately the theme doesn’t have any implementation for a newsletter however you can try to use a plugin to gain that possibility. You can try MailChimp for WordPress plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/mailchimp-for-wp/ or another simialr.

Theme’s blocks elements have been designed for wp ‘post’ post types but you can also set them to use another post type like pages or products using the filter section post type settings from block’s settings: http://screencast.com/t/7OFoo70a Please note that you would probably need additional customization for other posts types as the theme’s blocks haven’t been tested with other posts types.

You can find this mentioned in theme’s update log within the version now available on themeforest.

Hi Guys – Pre Purchase question here. I want to move over a current website to a new theme and I have been trying out a few – X, 7, enfold etc. First question, what makes Newspaper 6 superior?
Q2 – I have a lot of Custom Post Types currently in the site. Considering this theme focuses mainly on displaying post categories, I’m concerned that it won’t have the functionality out of the box to handle and easily style Custom Post types. Would you be able to give your thoughts on this?

1. You just have to compare the demos, they look different and they are intended for different domains. Newspaper is specially built for Newspaper, Magazine, News blog, Blog .. etc type of site. Those themes are more suited for business, business presentation, etc. sites.

The themes functionality and performance are similar. The main differences are in designs/appearances and the content area width which slightly differs from one theme to another, newspaper’s grid width is 1164px while newsmag’s width is 1021px. Other differences are also appear regarding features, some of the blocks are present on one and missing on the other. We plan to constantly add new features to each theme. The choice depends on your needs.

It can be adjusted but not using theme’s settings, you’d need customizations to theme’s design/grid which is not an easy task and you would need to turn to a developer to make this changes for you as we cannot offer customization services at the moment. Sorry!

In your preview of Newsmag Theme (http://demo.tagdiv.com/), on the left side you provide the ability to switch between different themes: Fashion, Tech, Video, etc. I have two questions in regards to that:
[1.] i really like the video version but things is can we add only pics and text pages too? moreover the page options that is available on default theme demo available on the video theme demo & is the video theme available in light version?
[2.] Is it possible to somehow set up the site using Newsmag for different sections with different themes, as if they were all separate websites yet interconnected? What I mean by that is, for example: We have a MainNewsSite.com (theme style #1), then we have MainNewsSite.com/SportsNews with Sports-only content (style #2), then we have MainNewsSite.com/FashionNews with Fashion-only content (style #3) and so on.
Is the above possible to accomplish using NewsMag?
[3.] If the answer to the above is yes, is it possible to have MainNewsSite.com set up with blocks where bits of news/content are being pulled from those separate, smaller sites? I’m not really sure what you mean by adding just “only pics and text pages” so if possible please provide more details on that and note that the theme works best with using posts in blocks and modules but pages can also be set there and use blocks which don’t display an featured image like block 9 or 10: http://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/block-9/ – http://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/block-10/

2. Pulling content from other site’s on blocks on the main site it can’t be done using theme’s settings, only if you could find a plugin that could help on this.
