I got some problem here. After updated my newsmag theme to version 2.2, i still cannot get the new big grid selections.
The only big grid that showed is the default big grid. Any solution to this problem?

Hello, A have a big problem after install the woocommerce in the website, the visual composer break down on the homepage, it only appears partial of the homepage in the visual composer.

The theme was tested with the free version of the woocommerce plugin and the other plugins that it supports so please make sure you also test this without plugins active, disable all leaving just theme’s Visual Composer plugin and the woocommerce plugin active and test this again. Also make sure you empty all caches and purge cdn files if you sue cdn host.
Let us know how it goes and also provide your site’s ulr so we can inspect it if this don’t work.

Hello, I have a relatively simple question, but I cant seem to get it to work. So Ill ask. Can you make the Big Grid (top of default Homepage) display pages rather than post. I have tried to play with the query and cant seem to get it to work.

Thanks your for your interest on using our theme however unfortunately we don’t have any bbpress forum available on our demo however the theme has bbpress support and it is tested and adjusted to work fine with the bbpress plugin.

I have install the lates 2.2 newmag theme, got 2 errors. i also did not find WooCommerce plugin in this package.
The TagDiv Invoice plugin needs the WooCommerce plugin to be activated first!

You can find the code for theme’s social sharings here: http://screencast.com/t/NouxqwLGp however the them doesn’t add and/or handle the og: meta tags which specifies the sharer informations, for that you we recommend the use of a plugin. The theme has been tested and work fine with wp Yoast SEO plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/wordpress-seo/ so you can use it in this concern.

Hi,
The Newsmag theme is fantastic, but I am having difficulty with adding guest authors with the Co-Authors Plus plugin. Initially it was working great, then while I made some changes to update the security vulnerabilities all guest author bylines were changed to one admin. I have made the necessary changes to the single.php and loop.php files and now the byline is completely gone.
Are there any plugins that can solve this issue of having guest authors or are there resources or changes in coding that I can try to utilize to solve my problem?

I installed Envato tool kit and I updated the theme twice. I saw that the version 2.2 is available and I tried to update the theme. Unfortunately when I press the button “update automatically” the page is empty. What can I do?

You can update the theme manually, for that you just need to follow the instructions from this theme update guide: http://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-theme/ – use the FTP method, connect via ftp remove the current theme files and upload the latest one. Make sure you backup you current theme/wp/database install so you can revert if something goes wrong. You can download the theme from your themeforest account > http://themeforest.net/downloads

Hi,
I updated the theme 3 days ago and every day since it says in the sidebar above a newer update is now available? I’m assuming this is some kind of error as I’m sure your not updating the theme every day for the last 3 days?
On another note, are you going to be providing an update for the new version of VC and does the theme work with the new version? I already have a copy of the newest VC but I’m reluctant to install it if the theme isn’t ready

Actually another update was released with a fix for a issues we had concerning tagdiv galleries so this isn’t happening in your case or you haven’t noticed it but you should update now to the available version if you haven’t did it already. Sorry for the inconvenience!
Regarding VC’s latest updated we still have to test it and we will include it in the theme once the it turns out to be stable because we don’t want to keep updating it if it isn’t.

Thanks for your reply, but i usually update using Envato toolkit and it’s pretty easy with out chance to lose anything. Why this update isn’t like the previous ones? And please if there’s anything you can do to make it auto-update, that would be much better for us.

Envato api is experiencing some issues lately and sometimes their service is not available this might caused it, I’m not sure though. You can do the update as instructed in the updated guide via ftp for now. it is also a safe way and by backing up your site you should have no problems. That happens because the setting you currently use has been changed in the latest update. It’s enough to go to theme’s panel > categories and set the category template: http://screencast.com/t/ZCbyeQu9II make sure you clear the cache, purge cdn file if you’re using and test again.
