Actually there is no direct way to edit it. But there are two options to change the icon:

1. You can create child theme and change the icon, There is function in tools.php file which is generating the portfolio box.
2. The another option is to change icon by custom CSS code. Here is an example: .thememount_pf_link i.tmicon-fa-link:before{ content: "\f002"; }
   This code will change the LINK icon to SEARCH icon. Just paste this code in Admin > Appearance > Theme Options > Custom Code > CSS Code box.





I recommend you to go with 2nd way as it has little work to do.

There is no patch or fix for it. That should not happen. If you haven’t modified anything than I think that should be server side issue. We recommend you to first contact your hosting service provider and ask them if anything updated on server side (like MySQL database, PHP version or Apache server) or not.

1. Can i customize the right side bar in each of my pages to display different content
—We are providing unlimited sidebar so you can achive this easily. Just create individual sidebars for each pages and add different widgets in it.

2. will it support display indian language called telugu.
—Technically, our theme will support language that supported by WordPress itself. We checked and found that WordPress is supporting Telugu language. But the translation is still pending for Telugu language. There is only 28% translation is done and rest is pending in WordPress itself. This will effect in admin section. Here you will find more information:

For our theme, the Howes theme is translation ready. But you need to do it yourself and need to translate each text yourself by using POEdit (or any other) software.

3. can i embed audio, video files in the pages
—Yes you can embed it. We are using Visual Composer which contains very easy way to embed YouTube, Vimeo videos. Also you can embed SoundCloud audio too.

If you are asking for language translation than you can write translated word in PO file directly.

If you just want to change it to some other words than there is no direct way to do it. We added the word directly in our file. So there are some extra technical way to change it. The way is to create a child theme and override the default function.

Also we will discuss with our team for the option possibility and will add functionality in our theme.

We solved it. We checked and found that you added broken code in header.php file. Here are details:

You missed a one ” (double-quote symbol). This code is in HEAD area so it’s effecting BODY tag as body tag’s double-quote symbol is used to close the html code. It should be like this:

Also we strongly recommend you to don’t edit any file inside our theme folder and use external plugin or theme feature to get this work. This file will be overwritten during theme update.

Glad to hear it. Also we recommend you to write code inside “Theme Options > Custom Code” box directly.

We are providing section to include code in <HEAD> and <BODY> tags. Just go to Admin > Appearance > Theme Options > Custom Code section and write your code (which you added in header.php and was giving error) in the Custom Code for <head> tag section. See this screenshot for more details:

Please note that if you don’t see options as in the screenshot than you need to update the theme to latest version. Click here to know more about the update process

NOTE: The update process will overwrite all theme files. And you modified some files. So we strongly recommend you to take backup first. Also we recommend you to take full backup (full database and all files) so you you should have full backup if anything goes wrong during update.

i solved this issue. a security plugin called ithemes security blocked suspicious urls. i turned this off and can see the single portfolio and team post now.

Ah, to update, it appears to be an issue only when I have page transitions turned on. Its a shame though, because I really like the page transitions, but it makes the site somewhat unusable when it is turned on. Just as an FYI, I tested this on a Galaxy S6 and iPhone 6 in both the stock browsers on each as well as Google Chrome on each. Can this be fixed?

There is no straight answer for how many years. Basically we will make our theme depreciate when it’s expired or removed from ThemeForest. There is no fixed years for expiration. Also we will try to make our all theme active and make it work for all clients after it’s been deprecated too.

For the updates, there are so many reasons for updates. Our theme is based on Visual Composer plugin so we need to update our theme if Visual Composer is updated. There are bug fix release too. Also we are adding new features too so it’s also need an update. So there are so many reasons for update. We are trying to make the theme as perfect as possible.

Thanks for providing all the details. We found some other problems too. That’s why we have’t updated the Visual Composer plugin in our theme and we are not providing v4.6 with our plugin.

So we recommend you to use Visual Composer v4.5.3 for now. Although there is a small change that will solve the current issue. For this, please contact us via our official support system at http://support.thememount.com/ and send us all the details so we will provide you a change that will solve current problem.

We are working on making the v4.6 compatible with our theme and it will be available in next 15 to 20 days as the VC v4.6 has some major changes too.
