Is there a place to integrate google analytics tracking code?

We recommend using an external plugin to manage your google analytics, so it’s independent and stays active, regardless of the theme that is currently active.

Hi again,

I love your theme so much better than the previous one I was using!

I have some quick questions: 1) Using contact form 7 plugin, I can’t get it to show on the whole page. It is stuffed on the left half of the page, like in your demo. What can we do to solve that so it shows on the whole page?

2) Despite I tick the box “Allow Download”, the download button link sends back to the audio post itself, or, if I past the URL of the .mp3 folder in “Audio URL”, it open the mp3. URL in a new page and start playing it in a small player. It does not download the folder. How to make the dowlnoad starting when the listener clicks on “Download audio” button?

3) Is it possible to add a link on the subtitle of “Next time on the Podcast…my next podcast” on the front page audio player?

Thanks in advance the help,

YP

My First test with the download button was with Chrome running under Windows Vista. Same problem with Modzilla under Windows Vista

The download button is working on mobile devices with windows 8.1 and Android.

On desktop explorer 8.1, it starts windows mediaplayer reading the mp3 file but do not propose the download. On explorer running under windows vista, it proposes the download.

It is very confusing. Any solution to that? I am fan of your theme anyway:)

I’ll get right to your questions:

1) The form uses the standard width for forms and cannot be customized by the theme options. Unfortunately customization services are not included with the theme, so you will have to dig into the CSS to change the width of the form. We recommend using the child theme, so you customizations are are safe from being overwritten during an update.

2)Thanks for the feedback, this is being looked into, as the download system is currently being updated as well.

3) This will be looked into as well.

I’m happy to hear you’re enjoying the theme, a lot of work is being put into it to make sure it stays that way. Thank you!

Hi,

Thanks for your theme it looks very nice.

I can’t seem to find any .xml file in order to import the demo content. Is it not possible to import the demo content?

Thanks for your help,

YP

Hi there, Thanks for using Podcaster! Unfortunately it doesn’t have demo data at the moment. It will be added with the next update that will be out within the next week, but for now I can’t help. Sorry about that.

Does the font used in your theme support Polish letters (? – ? – ó – ? – ? – ? – ?)?

Edit: Clearly, this forum doesn’t seem to do that… :-( How about the Podcaster theme?

Hi there! Podcaster has two font settings, in sans-serif (the default) it uses Raleway which does not support Polish letters. It defaults to Arial to display them. Set to serif, Podcaster uses the font Lora, which supports Polish letters. I’ll look into Raleway and whether there is a way to get it to work. I hope this answers your question for now.

Hello, I cannot get the required plugin, Theme Station Podcasting Feed to install. I receive the error message: The plugin does not have a valid header.

Hi there! We’re currently working on a fix for this. In the meantime, you could try to activate it by going to Plugins > Installed Plugins and activating it from the list. You do not need this plugin if you are using BluBrry or another plugin to manage your podcast by the way.

Any update? What you’ve suggested isn’t working.

The update is still being worked on. Do you think you could say what happens when you try to activate the plugin from the plugin list? Are you still getting the error message? Thanks!

Hi,

I have a few custom thumbnails. Is there anyway the theme can pick them up on the frontpage blog excerpts? So far, I haven’t had much luck.

Thanks!

Hi there!

Have you tried setting the thumbnails as featured images for your posts? That should do the job.

Hi There! The “readmore” links for past posts on my home page www.crudeconversations.com are all linking to my first ever post. Can you please tell me what I’m doing wrong? Thanks, Rohan

Hii there! Sorry about that. Could you create a dummy account for me and send the login info to support@themestation.net. I’ll take a look, thanks!

@Wethemus check out podtrac for tracking downloads and listens

Hi there!

How can I setup a separate blog page? This used to be a feature on older versions and I assumed that, since there is a tab that says “blog” on the Theme Options, that this was still a thing. I know I could use the Category page for that, but I’m pretty sure there used to be a proper “Blog” page before.

Sorry if I’m being a noob. This theme is absolutely amazing. Keep up the great work.

Thanks a lot!

Never mind! Just rewatched the fornt page setup video. I was being a n00b.

I really really love this theme. It’s been really great to work with. I have a suggestion: a great feature would be if the “Read More” section of the front page, I believe the setting is called the “Type of Excepts” if we could set that to use the Audio Subtitle from an Audio post. That would really help clean up my front page. Thanks for a great theme!

Thanks for the feedback! This will be looked into.

I bought this theme because of the inference that it was simple to use – but i’m having major problems getting my page to look anything remotely like the screenshots and live preview that I’ve seen. Is anyone available to help me get started. I’m pretty adept in loading content – but i need help with setup. Any kind soul willing to HELP me? Please!

Hi there, we don’t offer any installation services, but if you take a look at the documentation (http://themestation.co/documentation/podcaster/#frontpage) you can follow the video that shows how to set up your front page. After that add posts to your blog, then set up your podcast archive (http://themestation.co/documentation/podcaster/#parchive). I hope this helps!

Hello. I’m a novice at this but love your theme. Any advice after installation on how to make my theme look remotely like the one displayed on theme forest. Please help.

Please take a look at these two points to get started on setting up Podcaster: http://themestation.co/documentation/podcaster/#frontpage, http://themestation.co/documentation/podcaster/#parchive I hope this helps!

Hi! After using the Podcaster half a year, a Website-redesign is planned. Here is the question: Is it possible to use the (awesome) Episodes-View from the frontpage to replace the (boring) Podcast-Archive-View?

The front page is a page templete, so you can create another page, apply the front page template and see if it get’s you what you had in mind :)

Exactly!! Thanks a lot!!! :)

hiya – I’m having the issue of two players coming up on a podcast page – any ideas on how to fix? http://www.nomadpodcast.co.uk – my client has purchased this theme through another account. Thanks!

Hi there, please make sure the newest version of Theme Station Feed Plugin is running.

Hey Guys, trying to get the podcast player to display over top of the header image (as is displayed on this theme’s screenshots) but I can’t seem to find where to do it. Any suggestions? Thc

Hi there, please make sure you have a featured audio file when creating your podcast post.

Hello, I need to put a right sidebar in front page, how can I do?

Hi there! I’m sorry to say, the front page does not support any sidebars unfortunately.

Hello,

I recently bought this theme, and have enjoyed working with it so far.

One problem I’ve encountered is that my posts display two audio players…one in the header, and one below the post text. Perhaps this has something to do with me uploading my audio files directly, rather than embedding them?

Is there any way to remove the audio player that shows up beneath the post text?

Happy to hear you’re enjoying the theme. What version of the theme and what plugins are you using to manage the podcast?

Hi,

I am using v1.4.9. Not using any plugins to manage the podcast thus far.

Here’s a screenshot of the problem…

Sorry to hear you’re having issues with this. Are you using Theme Station Podcasting Feed? Make sure you’re running the newest version. If you are using PowerPress, deactivate the player in the plugin settings. This should stop the player from appearing below.

Is there any plugin or program you recommend to track the podcast downloads or listens?

Can’t think of any WordPress plugins to recommend at the moment, sorry, but I’ll keep my eyes open.

Hello. Please is there a download button option for audio podcasts. Thanks you.

Hi there, there is a download button option which you can activate when ever you create a post. Make sure you select the “Allow Download” option and you will get a download button on your single pages. I hope this answers your question.

How do I exclude my podcast posts from my blog page? I only want the podcasts to show up on the podcast archive page, and only want regular blog posts in the blog page.

In the theme options, please set your podcast category (Theme Options > Podcast Archive). Also make sure to leave the “Podcast Display in Blog” box unchecked. This should do the trick!
